Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s new loot system rewards you with new weapons and gear periodically. And while many of these weapons and gear have unique features, not all of them are going to appeal to you. Don’t just let those items sit in your armory. You can sell them for XP boosts. This option is only available for the rare gear that is highlighted with green, blue and orange titles. The XP received from the sale of these weapons goes directly into your total XP pool, so selling these in mass is a great way to level up quickly. To sell these items, simply head to your armory, highlight the item and press the corresponding button that says “Redeem for XP”. You’ll be prompted with a message telling you how much XP you’ll earn for selling the item, and how much progress you’ll get for the sale.
This might seem like a no-brainer, but many Call of Duty players get comfortable with specific weapons, attachments, perks, and abilities. Call of Duty has always had a large challenge system, and Advanced Warfare is no different. The game will constantly reward you for completing challenges with weapons, attachments, exosuit abilities, scorestreaks, specific game modes, and just about every other quantifiable aspect of the game. But the more you use specific gear, the harder it is to earn those points as the challenges start taking longer and longer to complete.
Completing more of these smaller challenges by switching up the gear that you use is a way to complete many challenges, instead of focusing on ones that require more time.
