Game Freezes on Start

Vsync 30FPS lock issue

If you don't want Vsync to lock Murdered: Soul Suspect on 30FPS then disable Vsync in-game.

• Then look for FateEngine.ini in C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\My Games, this path is for Windows 7.
• Open FateEngine.ini and change bsmoothframerate=False to bsmoothframerate=True
• Change usevsync=False to usevsync=True
• Close and right click on FateEngine.ini
• Go to Properties > Read only

Issues with Steam Version of Murdered: Soul Suspect

First of all verify the integrity of the game cache for that, right click on the game icon and select properties. Then click on Local Files and check the integrity of game cache.
