How to create PS4 Sub Account and Upgrade to Master Account

In a recent system update Sony allowed users to upgrade from Sub Account to Master Account for users who turn the legal age of 18 years. These changes made through the update allow users to upgrade from PS3 or PS Vita Sub Account to PS4 Master Account.

The key features of this new update is users who used the sub accounts can now have full control over their own master account, manage online ID, trophies and friends.

Also the progress of the games which you played from your sub accounts can be carried forward to the master account, and users can make their own payments.

How to Create PS4 Sub Account:

• Go to Settings > Parental Controls > Sub Account Management from a PSN master account
• Enter the required credentials 
• Select Create New Sub Account and Press X
• Select Local User icon or Register User for creating a new ID and Press X
• Enter the set of details required for completing the registration process
• A wizard will now guide you through the process of creating the Sub account
• After you enter email address and password select the notification preferences that you wish
• Complete the process by choosing Account's Avatar, Online ID, First Name, and Last Name 
• After you are done entering all the details read the Terms of Service And User Agreement
