Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

One of such major issue is with the controller being used to play Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. If you are using a controller from playing Scholar of the First Sin on your PC, you  are most prone to facing issues with mapping buttons or the buttons on your controller being totally dead.

Here is how to solve Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin Controller Issues

  • The very first things is to disable the HID compliant game controller from the Device Manager.
  • If the above fix does not work for you, go to Device Manager and uninstall all the game controllers. Now install the drivers for only the controller which you want to use.
  • Last but not the least use x360ce

For those who are unaware: x360ce is Xbox 360 Controller Emulator which will make your controller work as Xbox 360 Controller.

How to use x360ce

Download the emulator from HERE and extract the files

Edit the x360ce.ini or configuration file in a word editor and add the following command:

Version=1

Write [InputHook] and the following below it:

HookLL=1
