Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is out now on PlayStation 4. The game has been very well-received by critics and PlayStation community, but there is one field in Everybody's Gone to the Rapture that has received criticism, lack of "Spring Function" which makes progression in to game too slow. Thankfully, a way (cheat or used any term to describe it) has been discovered by PlayStation Community to "Sprint" in Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.
"You Can Gradually Sprint In Everybody's Gone to the Rapture By Holding Down R2".
From my personal point of view slow (regular) walking speed adds a lot to the immersion of the experience in Everybody's Gone to the Rapture.
Want to know why The Chinese Room removed or failed to add Sprint function in Everybody's Gone to the Rapture? They originally planned to have this feature in the game however, Santa Monica suggested them to replace auto-sprint with an R2 trigger hold.
This suggestion was added in the game, but to add in-game instructions for the Sprint funtion required The Chinese Room to make some big changes to the User Interface, which required additional time. This situation arised just few days ahead of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture launch and so The Chinese Room decided to add instructions for the sprint function via a post-launch patch.
