Super Mario Galaxy - Cuckoo for Watermelons?

Sick of all the coconuts? Want more watermelons? Collect 9999 Star Bits in the hub and all the coconuts will transform into watermelons! Um, yay!

Super Mario Galaxy - Unlock Luigi

You can play as Mario's bro! You need to unlock him first and there's only one way to do that. First, collect all 120 stars, every single one of them. Once you have them, talk to Rosalina and ask to fight Bowser again. Once you beat him, watch all the credits and then you'll get a message saying you can play as Luigi!

Super Mario Galaxy - Grand Finale Galaxy

To collect star number 121 and play the Grand Finale Galaxy level you need to unlock Luigi. Then use Luigi to collect all 120 stars and clobber Bowser. Once you've done that, you unlock the Grand Finale Galaxy. It's the big Star Festival party from the start of the game and if you can collect all 100 purple coins you'll get the final star!

Super Mario Galaxy - Cosmic Race Boost!

When you have to race Cosmic Mario there's a way to get a big boost at the start of the race. First, hold forward. Then when the counter reaches two, hold Z to hunker down. Finally, hit A the second the race starts. If you do it right, you'll glow golden as you tear out of the gate at ludicrous speed!
