X-Men: Destiny Walkthrough
The X-Men can never catch a break. Humanity is once again trying to destroy them, while the Brotherhood of Mutants is on their butts trying to get them to become mutant terrorrists. Which side will you pick when X-Men: Destiny hits store shelves, telling the story of three young mutants as they develop all new powers and pick allies on their quest to finally reach a lasting peace with the world. Yeah, like that’ll ever happen. But, Game Front can help give you the hints you need when picking your powers and choosing to save or destroy the world.

Part I
ACHIEVEMENT: After you select your character (this walkthrough will be based around Aimi Yoshida), you will have to select your first power (in this case, I went with “Energy Protection”) in the middle of the cutscene. After you do so, you will earn the “Destiny Begins” Achievement.Follow the path around through the wreckage till you reach the gangsters in the red coats. Follow the onscreen instructions by testing out your powers to take them out. Follow the path around to the right (under the overhang) and take out the rest of the enemies.
ACHIEVEMENT: Destroy the propaganda poster on the wall to earn the “Garbage Collection” Achievement. Jump through the whole in the wall to the right.After you meet Quicksilver, follow him around the other side of the building. Kill the attacking group of enemies, then turn right toward the large orange “X.” Cross the street and kill all 18 enemies (Iceman will help you in this battle).
Meet up with Iceman after all enemies have been defeated to get a little background on the story. Following your conversation, turn right toward the palm tress and kill the next group of enemies. Head for the next “X” where you will meet up with Cyclops.
Run up the makeshift ramp toward the next “X” to meet Toad. Use the onscreen instructions by following Toad up the beams and over to the next “X.” Kill the next group of Purifiers.
Head up the steps to the left and destroy the box with green tubes for some extra health. Head to the center of the area (where the icon of a fist is located) and ground pound the street (X to jump, then X again).
ACHIEVEMENT: Pick up the X-Gene to earn the “Splicer” Achievement as you head down the sewer. Kill the lone enemy after the first turn, then go left and up the ladder in the next room.ACHIEVEMENT: In this challenge arena, simply kill all the Purifiers here in under 90 seconds to earn the “Side-Tracked” Achievement. Back in the sewer, go for the next “X” to meet Emma Frost. ACHIEVEMENT: Follow her down to the next area and help her kill the 19 Purifiers to earn the “Diamond in the Rough” Achievement. Following the cutscene, get the health on the wall to the left and head through the open gate toward the “X.”Turn right and kill the two Purifiers coming around the corner. Jump toward the beam on the wall, then make your way across to the left and up to the next area. Following the cutscene, turn right, get the health if you need it and head across the suspect-looking bridge.
Kill the group of Purifiers here to save the girl and meet Caliban. Following the cutscene, jump off of the roof and head for the “X” to go talk with Pyro. Proceed forward where Mystique and Nightcrawler will be talking.
ACHIEVEMENT: Since good guys are better, choose to help Nightcrawler to score bonus points with the X-Men. Help Nightcrawler kill three different groups of Purifiers to earn the “Teleport This” Achievement.Head for the next “X” to meet Forge. Kill the 20 attacking Purifiers, then grab the health in the left corner before climbing up the highlighted building to the right. Kill the two enemies, then drop down to the next area.
Kill the Purifiers in the surrounding area. With the area cleared, fire a few blasts at the highlighted satellite tower to take it down. Following the cutscene with Magneto, grab the collectable on the sofa behind you, get the health then drop off the ledge to the right of the fallen satellite tower.
Kill the group of purists to the right, then follow the freed civilians around the fallen structure. Help Cyclops and Quicksilver kill the next large group of Purifiers, then following your conversation with both of them, choose to go with Cyclops and head for the “X.”
ACHIEVEMENT: Help the X-Men defeat this really large group of Purifiers to earn the “Stay Frosty” Achievement. When the commander Purifier shows up, look around for the “X” and head for it. Turn left up the stairs and head all the way around.Grab the health if you need it, then climb up the beams to get to the roof. Select Edge Storm and follow the onscreen instructions to use it against Cameron. Watch out for the trio of rockets that he will fire. Also, when he flies up into the air, dodge out of the way as soon as the four targets come together to avoid getting smashed.
Use your new power and other attacks to break his red forcefield, then once it’s down, hit him with as many attacks as possible before he regenerates his forcefield.
ACHIEVEMENT: After you break through his second forcefield, as long as you are quick enough, you should have enough time to get enough attacks in to finish him off and earn the “Things Look So Bad Everywhere” Achievement.

Part II
Following the cutscene, accept Nightcrawler’s mission. Head down the train station (past Mystique) and take out two of Gambit’s men. Head down the stairs to the left and take out the rest of Gambit’s men in this area.
Follow the one who will escape up the stairs. Once you get to the “X,” take out the one dude with the bat, and head down the stairs outside. Jump down to the right and take out the three Purifiers.
Follow the courier up the stairs and kill the next group of Purifiers in Chinatown. Clear the area, head for the “X” and head up the stairs. Get to the roof and follow the courier across.
Kill the next group of attacking Purifiers on the other side of the roof. Drop down to the area below and help Gambit’s men kill the Purifiers (don’t forget about the two on the concrete platforms in the back).
Follow the courier across the street and through the double doors. Following the brief cutscene, follow him over the bridge and then help him defeat another group of Purifiers. Clear the area, pick up the health and power cells if you need them, then head for the “X.”
After you are given the package, turn around and go talk to Toad. Decline his offer and head for the open doors to exit Chinatown and get that package delivered. Make a right at the dead end, then go left and head over the bridge. Make a quick left for the “X” at the front entrance of the club.
ACHIEVEMENT: After Gambit accuses you of working with the Purifiers, you’ll have to fight him. He’s easy, just watch out for his card throws and his charges and you’ll take care of him in now time and earn the “Ace in the Hole” Achievement.After learning about the Externals, exit the club. Jump over the railing to the right and head for the “X.” Cross over the bridge and head for the next “X” to the left. Ground pound where you see the fist icon to fall below into the sewer.
Proceed forward and open the barred door. Make a right, drop down and head through the next open door for a challenge arena. All you will have to do is kill 30 enemies under three minutes to earn some X-Genes
Back in the sewer tunnel, proceed forward and head for the “X” around the turn. Turn left and use the pipes on the wall to climb up to ground level. Walk around the hole, climb up the makeshift ramp over to the right to get on top of the container and jump over the gate.
Proceed forward down the street and kill the three Purifiers after you turn right. Climb up the glowing ledges on the building to the left. Take out the Purifiers on the roof, then head down the wooden ramp on the other side.
Once you get to ground level, turn around and follow the alley path. Turn right once you hit the street for another challenge arena. Help Iceman kill 30 Purifiers for another easy X-Gene.
Head in the opposite direction of the dead end, jump over the barrels and climb up the beams on the building to the left. Turn right and make your way toward the “X” (get the nearby health and power cells if you need them first).
Head through the doorway and ground pound the shinning grate. Kill the group of Purifiers below, then head for the “X” and press A to raise open the garage. Kill the next wave of Purifiers before they destroy the truck.
ACHIEVEMENT: You will then be given another option for selecting a power. Void Walk is awesome! But which ever you decide, you will then earn the “Choose Wisely” Achievement.You will then have to help Gambit and his men kill another wave of flame-throwing Purifiers to prevent them from destroying the truck. Once you see the “X” appear near the controls again, head over to it to raise open the the garage door.
ACHIEVEMENT: After you talk with Gambit again, ground pound the nearby sewer grate to earn the “It’s a Secret to Everybody” Achievement.

Part III
Pick up the X-Gene, then go talk to Cyclops. Select to do his mission. Ground pound the nearby area to get down into the sewer. Follow the train tracks around to meet up with Wolverine.
Help him kill the group of attacking Purifiers, then follow him up the stairs to the next area. Get the power cells to the right after you ascend the stairs, then follow him down the pathway.
ACHIEVEMENT: In this challenge arena, help Wolverine kill the 53 Purifiers. If you kill more Purifiers then Wolverine, you’ll earn an X-Gene and the “Better Than the Beast” Achievement.Follow Wolverine into the next area. After the cutscene, turn around, head upstairs and kill the attacking Purifiers. Once you clear this area, jump down to the “X.” Clear the entire area of Purifiers, then destroy the computer monitors.
Go over to the right and grab the health cells, then climb up the green containers. Move around to the left. Once you make it around to the left, climb your way up to get to the top. Head up the stairs toward the “X,” then turn through the doorway.
Turn right and kill the group of attacking Purifiers. Head for the “X” and turn right through the doors. Jump on the beam on the wall to the left and move your way across the chasm.
Kill the two flame-throwing Purifiers on the other side. Once you get to broken part of the bridge, jump out to the pipe on the wall, climb across to the right, then jump up and head up the stairs. Kill the group of Purifiers, then head for the “X.”
Drop off onto the platform to the right. Grab the health to the left, then jump on the ledge on the opposite side. Climb all the around, jump up to the next ledge, drop down and kill the attacking Purifiers.
Make your way around the attacks of the Robot Purifiers around the perimeter of the platform, then take out the flame-throwing Purifier in front of the computer screens. Destroy the computer screens to deactivate the Robots.
Walk around and climb up the the series of ledges. Move around to the left onto the pipe and continue around the to the left. Watch out for the laser blasts from the right. Jump up the series of pipes. Once you get to the top one, carefully avoid the series of laser blasts as you make your way to the left.
Jump up to the two ledges, wait for the Purifiers to walk by, then pull yourself up to the “X.” Kill the Purifiers, then head for the next “X” (grab the health to the left of it if you need it). Head through the doors, then kill the two Purifiers who will be waiting for you to the left.
Kill the next group of Purifiers down the pathway, making sure to pick up the power cells on the right. Clear the hallway, head for the “X” and head out the doors to the left. Kill the Purifiers at the other end of the bridge and destroy the two Robots.
Jump over the railing to the right and pick up the energy and health cells. Jump back over the railing and head around the structure to the “X.” Jump up to the ledge behind the “X,” then jump up to the next railing. Move all the way around to the right, jump up to the next ledge, continue around to the right, jump up to more ledges, continue around to the right and then to the pipe to the very end before finally jumping up and reaching the “X.”
Kill the Purifiers, then go and take out the Purifier Stalker, but make sure not to let it corner you. Head for the “X,” then climb up the series of pipes and follow them around to the left. Once you reach the top, move around to the right and pull yourself up to the top and head for the “X.”
Turn right to grab the X-Gene, then get the health and power cells if you need them before dropping down to the “X” below. Move around to the left for a boss fight with Cameron Hodge.
Hodge will be tougher this time around, but you already know his move set: rockets, charge and a huge ground pound. In between these attacks, hit him with attacks to break his forcefield. Once it is down, take away as much health as possible because he will be bring back his force field, which you will have to destroy again.
ACHIEVEMENT: Once he is almost dead, choose to fight on. You’ll have to then destroy his forcefield yet again. Once you do, finish him off to earn the “Shock and Awe” Achievement.During your conversation with Nightcrawler, choose to tell the Brotherhood what you now know.

Part IV
Following your conversation with Mystique, kill the attacking Purifiers. Head downstairs, kill the next group of Purifiers and destroy the generator under the overhang to the left. Continue around and head down the next set of stairs, killing the attacking Purifiers along the way.
Destroy the generator at the bottom of the stairs, then kill the attacking Purifiers. Clear the area and head around to the right. Use the pipes to the right to climb up and get over the forcefield blocking the doorway.
Jump from the pipe all the way across to the other pipe on the far wall. Move around to the right, then jump up to the “X.” Ground pound near the large vent, then drop down through it.
ACHIEVEMENT: Right before you are about to be attacked, choose your new power (Dark Vapor!) to earn the “The Choice is Made” Achievement.If you chose Dark Vapor, you will now be invulnerable to the Stalker’s attacks. After you easily destroy it, back away to avoid the explosion, then go pick up the health and power cells if you need them. Head for the “X” that appears to meet up with Forge.
Follow Caliban through the hole in the wall and head for the “X.” Follow Caliban through the next doorway and kill the group of Purifiers. Dark Vapor will once again make your work ridiculously easy here.
Turn right and take out the next group of Purifiers. Clear the entire area, then head for the “X.” Tell Northstar goodbye to stay focused on the mission. Jump over Juggernaut after he bursts through the barricade, then help him and Caliban kill these enemies here.
Kill the next group of enemies through the gate before heading for the next “X” to meet up with Juggernaut. Choose to do Juggernaut’s Smash-up to enter another challenge arena. Help Juggernaut kill all of the enemies and the MRD munitions.
Quickly clear the first area of all enemies, then follow Juggernaut up the stairs. Destroy the two MRD munitions around the first ring, then head up the stairs and destroy the third to complete the area and earn another X-Gene.
Turn right and follow Juggernaut. Get back so that you are in front of the building in front of the huge rock avalanche, then turn left and head for the “X.” Follow Caliban and the “X’s” around.
ACHIEVEMENT: Fight Wolverine!?!? With your new power he will be easy. Make sure you pick up the X-Gene in the corner when you can, then finished taking care of Wolverine to earn the “Logan’s Run” Achievement.Following the cutscene, climb up the two beams to get up the stairs to the “X.” Kill the attacking Purifiers coming around the corner, then take out the next wave behind you. Continue around the corner and climb up the building to get to the “X.”
Grab the X-Gene to the right, then kill all of the attacking Purifiers as you make your way around to the next “X.” Jump out toward the flashing yellow beam, then jump up and to the left to get to the next “X.”
Press A to swing the bridge around. Jump up on the roof above the door, then jump over to get on the bridge. Jump across to the other bridge and kill the two attacking Purifiers. Jump down to the “X” and hit A to swing the bridge around again.
Get up on the bridge and head across to the next “X.” Ground pound the weak part of the gravel to drop down. Follow the path around. When you get to the fork, turn right to pick up the health and power cells, then go left.
Just as you are about to get health and power cells on this side, you’ll be ambushed from behind by Purifiers. Take them out, then destroy the Purifiers Stalker (Dark Vapor him to death!). Head for the next “X.”
Following the cutscene, you’ll have to destroy that mass being guarded by Juggernaut (Cyclops’ Prison). He’ll immediately charge at you, so quickly jump out of the way, then begin to attack Cyclops’ Prison. Unfortunately, you’ll have to also dodge huge chunks of metal that Magneto will hurl toward you.
Continue to whack away at the heap of metal, but watch out for Juggernaut’s charges to avoid losing a ton of health. Once you break Cyclops free, you’ll then have to do battle with a helmet-less Juggernaut.
Quickly grab the health cells in the far left corner. As soon as you see Juggernaut charge you, jump out of the way. In his dazed state, take several whacks at him before he gets back to his feet. Repeat this process by luring him to the front of the screen, then jump behind him, move to the back, dodge his charges and finish him off when he is stunned.
You’ll then have to make your way down the street as you avoid the metal objects that Magneto will be hurling at you along the way (move to the left or right of the tanks and jump over the beams). Once you get up close to him, destroy the prison that Cyclops will once again be held in over to the right (Dark Vapor will work wonders here).
Once Cyclops is free, he will use his beam to distract Magneto. All you have to do is sneak in behind him and hit him with attacks. Once you get his health about halfway down, he will toss you back to the other end of the street.
Once again, dodge the chucks of metal to get back to where Magneto is, then destroy Cyclops’ prison again. Once he is free and begins to fire his beam again quickly hit Magneto with attacks.
ACHIEVEMENT: Repeat this entire process one more time to defeat Magneto and earn the “An Unstoppable Force” Achievement.ACHIEVEMENT: During the cutscene, stick to your good-guy roots and join Cyclops and the X-Men to earn the “Got My Eye on You” Achievement.

Part V
Following your discussion with Cyclops, go right to pick up the health and power cells, then go left, pick up the X-Gene and head for the “X.” In this area with Nightcrawler, destroy the three speakers to break the mind control that Nightcrawler is under.
After you destroy them, head for the “X.” Head up the makeshift stairs and grab the health and power cells at the top. Drop down to the “X” and kill the 15 enemies in this area, including a Prime Enforcer.
ACHIEVEMENT: Following the fight, you will now have to break the mind control that is being forced on Northstar. Destroy the four speakers here, but watch out for his beam blasts that he will fire at you while hovering in the air. After you do so you’ll earn the “Fist of the…” Achievement.After one of Gambit’s guys busts a whole in the nearby fence, head on through and turn left toward the “X.” Following your conversation with Gambit, you will be able to acquire your final power (Shadow Phase, in this case).
Use your new power to kill the attacking Purifiers, including a Prime Enforcer. After you clear the area, head for the next “X.” After you accept Forge’s mission, grab the health and power cells, then follow Forge.
Pick up the X-Gene under the overhang to the right, then head for the next “X.” Turn right toward the next “X.” Grab the X-Gene in the guard shack, then proceed forward along the chain-link fence.
Drop down through the break in the fence and kill all of the enemies in this area (it’s kinda big, so make sure you look around). Destroy the generator behind the barricade to the left, then health and power up.
After the X-Men come bursting through the gate, help them fight off the next wave of enemies (Dark Vapor!). As soon as you see the “X,” don’t worry about the enemies, just head for it.
Follow the “X’s” up the stairs, then get the health and power cells once you reach the top. Follow the catwalk all the way around the building. Once you reach the spire, walk up the spiral stairs and pick up the X-Gene on the back side.
ACHIEVEMENT: Walk back down and climb up blue flashing beams to get to the top. Walk around to the “X” to earn the “Satellite Interference” Achievement.Following the cutscene, help Cyclops and Magneto destroy the attacking enemies. After you have done so, you will then have to destroy a Purifier Stalker. Once done with that, head for the “X” to teleport to the next building.
Again, clear the building of all enemies here, then head for the “X” to teleport to the next building. You will then have to fight Luis Reyes and his Sentinel. To start, climb up the ledges of the building. You will have to watch out for laser blasts from the Sentinel as well as falling debris from the building. These laser blasts will be harder to dodge the closer you get to the top of the roof.
Once you get to the top, the Sentinel will fly away and then charge back. When you are prompted to jump, do so to avoid getting hit. The Sentinel will then go into a series of attacks: laser blast, fist pound, another laser blast that comes through three orbs and a huge laser blast that will come out of his chest.
All of the attacks are easy to see coming; where ever his hand his is located, that’s the direction in which the blast will go. Following the fist pound, this will be your opportunity to get in some attacks. And as for the blast from the chest, move to the far right front corner of the screen to avoid suffering damage.
Once you get his health about halfway down, he’ll fly away and fire a sequence of fire blasts that you’ll have to sidestep by avoiding the red targets. Once he flies back to the roof, jump again to avoid the debris from the roof, then go back to the same process as before.
After you get his health about three-fourths gone, he’ll fly away again and you will have to dodge his fire blasts again. Once he comes back to the roof, you should be able to finish him off here.
Following the cutscene, you’ll then have to fight Bastion. Similar to Cameron Hodge, you’ll have to break his forcefield first. After he teleports and comes down to ground level, use Dark Vapor to destroy the forcefield.
He’ll then fly away and you will have to dodge his ground pound. Do so, then take out the three Purifiers. Get in some more attacks on Bastion again before he takes flight. Once he does, you’ll have to fight off three more Purifiers at the same time that he teleports around the area, firing laser beams and slashing you with his purple sword.
Following another ground pound, quickly hit him with a few more attacks. Once you get his health down to about halfway, his forcefield will predictably regenerate. His Avalanche attack we’ll be easy to dodge, then you will have to stay on the defensive as you dodge his teleporting laser attacks again.
Hopefully, if you still have plenty of juice in your power tank, wait until he performs another ground pound, then stand where the four targets will come together and immediately before he drops, use your Dark Vapor to take out his forcefield and some more of his health.
Once his health is down to about a fourth of the way, his forcefield will regenerate once again and he will begin to charge at you. The charge will be easy to avoid, however, his attacks will now come much faster and there will be no more ground pounds.
ACHIEVEMENT: The only opportunity that you will have to hit him here is when he teleports to one of the corners and lands after firing his laser. Hopefully you have enough power left to use one more Dark Vapor to finish him off to earn the “Alpha Level Mutant” Achievement and beat the game.
