Enter Bryce Boltzmann, the very faux-english-named protagonist of Capcom’s next western-developed title, NeverDead. Cursed to forever roam the Earth as an immortal, Bryce finds himself in a sticky situation when the King of Hell, Astaroth, attacks a major metropolis. Now the unkillable Bryce, with his very killable companion Arcadia, must fight the hellish hordes and stop Astaroth once and forever. The main gimmick of NeverDead is right in the title, Bryce can not be killed — as he takes damage, he becomes more and more dismembered until all that’s left is his rolled head. Take control of his separate body parts to fight, and protect your lovely partner Arcadia before she’s killed by the weird creatures stalking the city.

PROLOGUE
As soon as you have control over the character, keep your distance from the charging enemy and take this time to learn the on-screen control options.
Use the webbed pillars in the surrounding area as a means of keeping yourself out of range from oncoming attacks.
When the enemy moves to the ceiling and begins jumping between the pillars, continue keeping your distance and open fire on him with an automatic weapon.
Wait for the enemy to get into a diving attack position, while on the ceiling pillars, then jump out of the way before he can tackle you.
If the enemy begins moving in quickly to score hits with running strike attacks, use the rolling dodge maneuver to evade these blows before any damage can be done to you.
Continue shooting the enemy by keeping the crosshairs on him no matter he goes until he is defeated to complete the prologue.

ASYLUM
Dismemberment
After speaking with your partner, make your way up the ruined street ahead and continue moving forward until you are able to draw one of your weapons from its holster.
Head towards the front of the building and climb the staircase to the right of the red-leafed tree, then approach the door ahead to activate a cut scene in which you enter the Asylum.
Once inside, move forward into the lobby to collect ammo off the front desk and an XP Collectible from underneath the left side of the staircase.
Climb the steps to reach the second floor, at which point another walkie convo will transpire to temporarily limit your character’s mobility.
After blasting away the wooden beam in your path, collect any ammo you see laying around at the top of the staircase and move down the next hall to your left.
Destroy the debris covering the hole in the floor so that it falls through to the ground below, then leap across the narrow in front of you and collect the item at the end of the corridor.
Turn around and make your way into the hallway on the opposite side of the room, then continue forward and collect any items you find along the way.
Make the next left and collect whatever items you can find in the last section of the hall, then turn around and make your way to the opposite side of the area.
Move through the last open doorway on the right and drop through the floor to the next level below, then search the room for items and interact with the red button on the wall between the two windows.
After the cut scene, read the on-screen instructions to familiarize yourself with the basic concept of the newly discovered Dismemberment ability.
Use a combat roll maneuver to pick up the leg you accidentally tore off during the cut scene, then exit the room after the yellow door is opened and take a right down the hall to encounter a formidable demon enemy.
Charge towards the demon and fire upon it repeatedly to cause massive damage, then quickly back up before the creature has a chance to charge you and continue the assault when it’s safe again.
Clear out the initial wave of demons in the hallway and continue forward until another one crashes through the wall, then eliminate this enemy as well and make a right through the hole that was just created to collect the available items.
Head to the end of this hall and make a left down the tunnel in the corner to learn about Chained Doors, then equip your Butterfly Blade and use it to break open the set of white doors behind you labeled OUT OF ORDER to complete this part of the level.

Keycard
Enter the next room to activate a cut scene in which you encounter a Spoon, then kill this enemy using the only weapon that’s effective against it, the Butterfly Blades. Use timed stroked to evade damage and deliver killing blows with as little effort as possible.
Clear the room of Spoons and collect whatever items you find around the area to learn about the Special Abilities Menu. Before you return to gameplay, use this newly earned venue to visit the shop and upgrade your attack options or strengthen your battle endurance.
Continue fighting off the Spoons that appear until one of the room’s surrounding cement walls is knocked down, then exit the building and make a left up the steps. As you move into the next area above, keep your guns trained in front of you so as not to be surprised by ambushing enemies.
Take out the demons when you reach the top of the steps by staying at a distance from their charging attack, then take the next right corner ahead and. If your are badly injured in the midst of fighting this larger wave of demons, the game will teach you about Regeneration options.
Clear out all remaining demons in this area, then follow your partner through the brick building’s open doorway to activate a cut scene in which another wave of of enemies arrives to attack the pool hall you’re occupying.
Search the area for ammo as quickly as possible, then immediately open fire on the first demon that manages to breach the pool hall’s exterior. Stand in relatively close distance to your partner and use the confined quarters as an opportunity to better coordinate double team kills.
Use the rolling maneuver to keep your distance from the swarm of demons and kill them with as little strife as possible, but remember to stick close to your partner as she does not share the benefits of immortality that you do.
When you’ve cleared the pool hall of invading enemies, exit the building through the leftmost front door to make your way into the basketball court area and collect the XP.
Return to your partner in the pool hall and interact with the green-lit switch by the door to activate a cut scene in which she is attacked by a demon, then press the indicated button to resuscitate her before eliminating the enemy responsible.
Follow your partner down the nearby hall to learn more about the Butterfly Blades combat defenses, then continue into the next corridor and eliminate the wave of Spoons ahead.
Pick up the XP located near the back left corner of the first hall before moving over into the adjacent outside area, then continue eliminating the Spoons until you learn about Navigation Hints.
Search the cafeteria for additional items, then approach the exposed power box in the corner and interact with it to electrocute your character’s head off his body.
Steer the decapitated head into the open wall vent near your feet, then use the ducts to guide the disembodied skull into the next room on the left and roll yourself into a Regeneration Vessel to regrow the rest of the character’s body.
Afterwards, move to the side of the room opposite the pair of red gas tanks and put a bullet in one of them to cause an explosion that reunites you with your partner.
Wait for her to open the other door and collect whatever XP you can find to activate a cut scene in which you are charged with locating a keycard, then clear the area of enemies and finish sweeping it for additional items.
Make the last right turn ahead and follow the hall around to shoot the red gas tanks in the white-tiled room you come to next, then enter the kitchen area and collect the upgrades scattered about.
Cross to the opposite side of the room and approach the message board in the back right corner to collect the keycard, then eliminate the demons that approach and exit the kitchen through the same way you came.
return to the room that required the keycard and use it to unlock the first blue door you come to beneath a bright rectangle of fluorescent yellow lights, then enter the next area ahead to activate a cut scene and complete this part of the level.

Gardens
After you learn about Demon Seals, charge towards the group of demons hiding in the bushes ahead and eliminate them with the help of a nearby tree’s destruction.
Exit this area through the tunnel cut into the stone wall waiting for you ahead , then make your next left up a small set of steps and collect the ammo at the top.
Head back down the steps and eliminate the Spoons waiting for you at the bottom, then move through the open archway partially concealed by vines on the wall to your right and continue forward into the next area ahead.
Climb the steps and collect the ammo at the top to activate a cut scene in which you encounter a Womb phenomenon, then exit this area using the same way you came in and make a right towards the statue.
Make a left past the statue and head up the steps, then make a right in front of the building and move down into the next garden area below to locate the large purple monster by the hedge wall.
Eliminate the large purple monster using repeated Butterfly Blade slashes or an exploding propane tank, then clear the current garden area and make your way back the way you came to the left in front of the building.
Moving past the garden area decorated by the bronze statue, approach the opposite end of the building you’re running in front of and eliminate another enormous monster waiting by the nearby hedge wall.
Afterwards, return to the garden where you eliminated the first monster and continue past it along the perimeter of the area, then locate the final two enormous creature emerging near the hedge wall and finish them off to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, move through the doorway you just uncovered to enter the next building and exterminate the attacking demons within. If you run into trouble, there is a Regeneration Vessel in the corner that can be used in case of emergencies.
When the room is clear, move through the adjacent hallway with massive hunks of wood ripped from the wall and use your Butterfly Blade to break open the next door in the left corner ahead.
Collect whatever items you can find before dropping into the elevator shaft you just uncovered, then fall to your dismemberment to learn about the Head Spin Attack and use it to quickly reattach your limbs to your body.
Exit the shaft and move into the next room ahead, then sweep the area for XP and shoot the various propane tanks lying on the ground to effect a change in surrounding environment.
Continue picking up hidden items from the various room while eliminating another wave of demons and giant creatures, then head to the morgue and approach the corner with junk piled in front of it to rejoin your partner.
Search the morgue and the rooms adjacent to it for any additional items or remaining threats to your health, then approach the exposed power box by the radiator in the morgue and interact with it to become a rolling limb monstrosity.
Guide what’s left of the character towards the opposite side of the room and roll him up the slanted metal table to reach the ones extending from the wall above, then steer the mobile hunk of human remains onto the last available table and jump them across the gap ahead.
Land on the last available row of beds jutting from the wall beside you, then jump the next gap ahead to reach the two tables in the left corner.
Roll yourself onto the surface furthest from the corner and jump the gap between the beds in the wall beside you, then pick up the XP in the next container and continue forward to clear another gap ahead.
Maneuver your remains on top of the concrete slab that occupies the nearest corner ahead, then enter the ventilation shaft above and navigate the ducts to collect strings of XP until you drop into the next room below.
Enter the boiler room adjacent to your current location and fire upon the propane tanks littering the ground, then sweep the room for XP and climb the staircase to activate a cut scene in which the building is swarmed by numerous enemies.
Drop back to the level below and use your sword to slice through multiple enemies at once while staying on the run to avoid danger, then climb back up the stairs when the room has been cleared again and move through the doorway previously unavailable to you.
Search the next two corridors on your left to collect the deposits of XP and angle the seesaw in the second hallway so that it’s tilted upward towards the door.
Approach the exposed power box to interact with it and lose more limbs via electrocution, then roll your disembodied head up the seesaw you tilted into position earlier to reach the next floor above.
Use the Regeneration Vessel at the top to restore your body to its full capacity, then head down the next hall to pick up the Machine Gun and collect additional items in the room ahead.
Make your way down the staircase in the back corner of the room and continue collecting the items left around for you, then eliminate the Spoons that attack you in the next underground area at the bottom of the steps and equip the SMG in the process.
Use these new weapons and tactics that allow for quick body regeneration to fight off the invading hoards of enemies until you can locate and destroy another of those enormous monsters waiting in the far corner of the area.
After the area is clear of enemies, continuing sweeping it for items until you stumble upon a small alcove with an exposed power box and a monster that suddenly smashes through a nearby wall.
Join your partner over by the elevate to activate a cut scene in which you learn Electricity Propigation, then approach the previously ignored power box to absorb the energy from and enter the elevator that now opens for you.
Exit at the elevator’s next stop and take a right down the hall, then continue ahead towards the next area to activate a cut scene and complete the level.

Boss Fight: Swordpig
After the cut scene, search the surrounding area as quickly as possible to grab the XP points closest to you before the Swordpig shows up in the room. You’ll know it’s too late when the boss’ green health bar suddenly appears across the top of your screen.
When Swordpig first arrives to the battle, try to keep as many of the room’s random obstacles between you and the boss so that a safe distance can be reasonably maintained at all times.
Wait until the last second before using a combat roll to dodge the boss’ series of charging attacks, then immediately move in close to Swordpig and hack away at his legs with the Butterfly Blade. Continue slashing until he swing a massive tail into you, then reassemble your body if necessary.
Shoot the fire extinguishers when Swordpig moves in their vicinity to cause a distraction that can be used to score additional hits to the boss’ weak spots. Try to focus on the same limb every time you move in for the attack until it is completely weakened, then move onto another appendage.
Continue disabling Swordpig’s legs to activate a cut scene in which in he throws you through a wall and into the next area below. As soon as you land, reassemble the necessary body parts and collect the XP scattered around the room to purchase any possible upgrades that would help in this situation.
In this new cramped area, the best strategy is to move in tight circles around Sworpig and avoid his front end at all cost while continuing to slice up his legs.
Keep up this method of attack until all four of Sworpig’s legs have been disabled and he has slumped to the ground in a vulnerable daze, then use the opportunity to circle around to the boss’ rear end and fire upon the yellow weak spot within his butt.
Even after he rises to his feet, continue firing into the boss’ glowing butt until Swordpig’s health has been completely drained to complete the level.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: A pain in the ass! (20 points): Defeat the Sword Pig.

MUSEUM
Courtyard
At the start of this level, sweep the surrounding area for XP and other additional items before climbing the steps that lead to the next building’s entrance.
Use your sword to fend off the large monster that emerges from the ground at the top of the steps and wait until lesser enemies have time to move in beside you, then strike the nearby cement columns until they collapse in damaging mass destruction.
Finish off any surviving threats and move back down the steps to approach a new wave of enemies emerging below, then jump up on the grass median and strike the statues so that they crumble and fall onto the opposing creates.
Clear another wave of enemies, including a giant monster, then run back and forth across the width of the area to stay on the move and out of danger. As you sprint between different parts of the enclosure, use the Butterfly Blade to cut your a path through the enormous wave of demons currently rising from the ground.
Another tactic for this onslaught is to seek out any remaining opportunities for destruction, such as stone columns, and lure numerous enemies over to it before bringing down the rubble.
When the enormous monsters rise up every once in a while, make them your primary target of attack since other enemies require less effort and concentration. In the process of killing larger enemies, it’s also inevitable to kill multiple smaller enemies in close proximity.
Survive the ambush by eliminating every enemy in the area to activate a cut scene in which you are charged with opening the courtyard door, then return to the building’s front entrance and make a right to approach the exposed power box in the corner.
Absorb the energy contained in the box, then cross over to the opposite side of the area and use the stored electricity to activate a cut scene in which you open the courtyard gates.
Gather up your arms and move forward into the area you just made accessible, then use your Butterfly Blade to exterminate the ambush of demons and enormous monsters until a cut scene activates in which Arcadia is knocked unconscious.
Fight your way over to Arcadia and revive her as soon as possible, then make an effort to stick together so that she doesn’t get overwhelmed by the hoards. When she moves to a different part of the courtyard, follow her to activate a cut scene in which a bird destroys the fountain.
After another cut scene in which a way into the museum is revealed, search the surrounding area to find additional XP before making your way up the wooden ramp located beside the raging fire.
Make a left at the top and turn back around when you pass beneath the scaffolding above, then remove your character’s head and toss it up onto the next level.
Roll the disembodied head up the wooden ramps until the rest of your body reappears, then move left along the museum’s crumbling ledge and cross to the opposite side the walkway.
When you see a stone wall scarred with claw marks on the right, move around to the other side of it and enter the next room through a doorway hidden in the corner to complete this part of the level.

Breaking In
Make a right inside the attic area and take down the enormous monster that emerges in the corner ahead, then turn around and clear out the remaining lesser enemies by shooting the various explosive tanks lying on the ground.
As the ceiling above begins to collapse, equip your Butterfly Blade and take out the Spoons that suddenly appear. If a total dismemberment occurs at any point, save the Regeneration Vessel that was already waiting for you in the room until it’s absolutely needed.
After you’ve cleared the room of enemies, use the staircase to reach a rooftop reecognizable by its octagonal skylights and shoot the nearby flammable barrels to break the giant panes of glass.
Leave the rooftop via another crumbling ledge adjacent to the area, then pick up the Xp at the opposite end and return to the shattered skylight wreckage you caused earlier.
Drop through the broken skylight to enter the museum by crash landing onto one of the exhibition floors hundreds of feet below, then reassemble your body and fight off any approaching enemies around you.
Sweep the exhibit area for items and XP, then use the leftmost staircase available to reach the floor above and continue forward across the walkway.
Eliminate the various enemies on your left by causing the destruction of an exhibit propped against the nearby wall, then climb the nearest set of stairs and take out the enormous monster at the top.
Use your sword to continuously fend off the swarming enemies on the stairwell, then utilize the next set of steps ahead to reach the floor above and crack open the power box on your right to absorb a substantial surge of electricity.
After charging up with electrical energy, remove your character’s head and toss it into the open vent beside the power box you just used.
Steer the rolling cranium through the duct system until you reach the next hall and can reassemble your body, then smash open the cover of another nearby power source to activate a cut scene in which a pair of security gates are deactivated.
Drop over the railing beside you to return to this particular challenge’s starting point, then move through the archways you just finished unblocking to activate a cut scene in which the doors lock shut behind you.
Move forward into the new area and eliminate the Spoon by destroying one of the stone pillars he happens to linger by, then find your way into the adjacent exhibition room that houses the largest dinosaur skeletons possible to complete this part of the level.
Fight off the Spoons that flood into this area so that you to survive long enough to reach one of the surrounding staircases that will take you to the floor above, then eliminate the enemies waiting for you at the top of the steps and stay on the move around the balcony until the ground collapses beneath you.
After you land on the ground floor, exterminate the nearby Spoons before they have a chance to attack you and escape back to the floor above by using another nearby staircase to complete this part of the level.

Protect the Innocent
When you reach the top of the steps, make a left along the broken ledge that encircles this area of the museum and take out the Spoon before it hurts any of the frightened civilians.
When you’re assured of everyone’s safety on the second floor, drop over the ledge to reach the ground level below and sweep the area for hidden items.
Approach the giant glowing globe hanging in one of the corners and destroy the second closest support column beside it to activate a cut scene in which you encounter a new breed of shielded enemy joining the fight..
Destroy the remaining support beams, the globe statue and however many breakable objects are close enough to crush another approaching wave enemies while they’re in range to harm you.
Seek out and defeat the shielded demons that arrive along the outer walls by watching for their protective plating to momentarily recede and attacking the exposed areas of glowing vulnerability.
Clear out any remaining enemies on the ground floor, starting with the enormous monsters that erupt from beneath the ground and focusing on the shielded demons after that, then exit to the floor above via the newly uncovered staircase nearby.
Make a left upon reaching the top floor area and follow the ledge forward to move across the room, then follow the next available hallway on your left to reach the aquatic saline portion of the tour.
Enter the main exhibition hall with life-sized models of whales hanging from the ceiling, then continue forward to activate a cut scene in which a creature reminiscent of Swordpig arrives to terrorize the innocent people in the room you’re obligated to protect.
To best protect the room of defenseless civilians, take out the large horned creature first by shooting the vulnerable area on the enemy’s back that reveals itself whenever his protective shell springs open.
Make quick work of enemies prowling in shadow along the sides of the room by destroying the large display cases that line the surrounding walls, then clear the area of all remaining threats before exiting through the open doorway that leads to an aquarium.
Follow the hall to a staircase that leads to the area above, then move forward across the second floor to activate a cut scene in which a Spoon bursts through a previously locked doorway across the room from you.
Move forward along the balcony that wraps around the room and eliminate the enemies that block your path until a cut scene activates to complete this part of the level.

Nikki
After the cut scene, return to the exhibition room with an enormous blue whale model hanging from the ceiling and exit through the open doorway that leads to a sign reading: BLOCK.
Follow the corridor forward and eliminate the enemies that occasionally burst out at you from the walls, then continue into the next room ahead to activate a cut scene in which you save a pop star named Niki from a pack of demons
Climb the left staircase and eliminate the monster that emerges when you reach the top, then drop over the railing to the floor below and fight off the lesser enemies that have begun to appear in droves.
Take out the large monster located in the corner to the left of the stage by shooting the explosive barrel hidden in the nearby cluster of bass speakers, then finish clearing the area and exit using the archways on the second floor to activate a cut scene.
Enter the room decorated with towering Egyptian statues to encounter a brand new waves of creatures to exterminate.
For a quick offensive advantage, you can either break open the electric signs standing next to the staircases and absorb the energy within for attack purposes. You can also knock down the Egyptian sculptures looming above and unleash a devastating avalanche of destruction upon your enemies.
Clear the ground floor of demons and monster, then use one of the staircases to enter the darkened hallway on the next floor above and eliminate the enemies in this area as well.
Enter the doorway that eventually opens to activate a cut scene in which you encounter the another wave of enemies, then move forward into the next room ahead to complete this part of the level. You can use the electric signs at the end of the first hallway to absorb energy for offensive attacks.

Boss Battle: Quad
Fight your way towards the statue at the center of the room and remove the larger enemies from the mix, then finish off the rest to activate a cut scene in which you encounter a demonic-looking bulldog creature from Hell.
Use the dodging maneuver to sidestep the dog creature whenever he leaps towards you, then quickly go on the attack by slicing into his body with your sword.
The Hellhound can also be goaded into following you beneath crumbling columns, which you can then destroy to cause a damaging cave-in of falling rocks and concrete.
Once the demonic canine has been put down, continue exterminating the lesser enemies that remain as you search the area for the monsters sticking their heads into pools of lava. The easiest way to get this done is by destroying as many support columns as you can in effort to cause a massive cave-in that instantly kills the largest of creatures.
Approach the rounded room that displays a single broken column tilting precariously on the raised circular platform at its center, then stand your ground to encounter the second member of Quad, a Spoon creature built for a Boss Battle.
Keep a fair distance from the Spoon boss until there’s an opportunity to swiftly position yourself tight beside him at close range with a well-timed combat roll. Unleash a conservative barrage of combination sword strikes on this new creature, then quickly retreat from the fight before it has a chance to respond in kind.
Use the previous assault method to eliminate the mega-Spoon enemy, then approach the fallen column at the center of the nearby circular room and run up it to reach the next floor above.
Make your way to the right around upper level and take the next left towards a blue sign that reads: BLOCK 4. Enter the hallway to the right of this ad and follow it around to encounter the third creature belonging to Quad, a three-headed mutant animal monstrosity.
After the cut scene, move continuously around the area at a distance that’s far enough to ensure your safety from every attack the three-headed monstrosity tries to dish out.
Pick a spot a few feet behind one of archways that make up the current area’s architecture, then stand within the visible space of the structure’s rounded window so that the creature has a clear line of sight on you’re current hiding spot.
Stay where you are behind the stone-carved portal until the boss preparess to violently thrust one of it’s three heads through the openings and into your body at full force, then side-step this devastating attack and retreat to a safe distance without taking damage,
If all goes well, the monster will ram a single massive head through the much smaller archways at an awkward angle, causing a cave-in that keeps the boss partially pinned to the ground.
Move quickly towards the towards the long neck currently laying across the floor and use your sword to slash the section of its throat that glows yellow until the beast has been reduced to just two skulls to operate with.
Locate other archways in the surrounding area, then use them to trap the mythical beast as you did before and execute another two successful decapitations to disable the third member of Quad permanently.
After a cut scene in which the headless body of the beast from earlier mutates into a whole new insect-like monster that now has the ability to fly, retreat to the concrete walls that make up this area’s perimeter and run along them in a continuous circle to evade and observe the boss’s routine and arsenal of attacks.
Wait for a scenario in which this remaining boss suddenly chooses to hover in place at the center of town and slowly raise both its hands to the sky, then detach one of your character’s arms in anticipation of the creature eventually opening it’s mouth to inhale whatever or whoever it can.
Before his vacuum attack is able to reach critical suction power, charge towards Quad #4 during his aforementioned ritual and stop at a distance close enough to successfully lob your own severed limb into the gaping mouth filled with fire.
Return to moving along the outer boundary and equip double pistols with your missing arm still residing in the boss’s stomach, then open fire to irritate the vulnerable yellow stripe that cuts across the monster’s chest and depletes even more of his life in the process.
Repeat the attack strategies listed above to drain Quad’s remaining of health and defeat him to complete this level.

POLICE STATION
Fire
At the start of this level, move forward through the open doorway in the right corner and take a left to get behind the front desk.
As you navigate through the burning building, take care to eliminate enemies with as little movement as possible to avoid any missteps that could send you headfirst into the surrounding flames.
Continue ridding the police station’s front lobby of all demonic creatures until a cut scene activates, then move through the recently uncovered doorway and use the hallway you enter next to reach a computer room with a checkered pattern floor.
Move against the left wall to wait for a scythe-wielding maniac in the room next door to come barreling through the divider that separated you from him.
Eliminate the surrounding enemies to move upward through office area, then continue exploring the floor you’re on to locate the cubicles and break areas yet to be searched for special items.
Approach the doorway obstructed by a patch of sticky blue webbing and eliminate the monster that emerges in front of it, then finish ridding this floor of all remaining enemies by doing a room-to-room search.
Move through the doorway that was previously inaccessible and use the burning hall you enter next to collect various items lying around the abandoned corridors.
Enter the hallway that’s been divided in half by a massive pile of burnt debris spread across its middle section, then climb over this hill of ashy remains to reach the opposite wall and make a right to eliminate more approaching enemies.
Follow the path you’re on to pass through yet another smokey corridor and take out the enemies that have consolidated at its furthest end, then evade the Spoons that suddenly come crashing through the various closed doors and eliminate them as well.
Use the doorway that was just unblocked to find the blue-tinted file room with a checkered floor pattern, then move towards the back of this area and wait for a human projectile to explodes through the drywall beside you.
Leave this room using the section of wall that was just destroyed as an exit, then equip an automatic weapon to mow down the parade of demons waiting for you in the next area.
Focus your attention on first eliminating the shielded enemies, the enormous monsters that burst from the floor and any creature that fires projectile as quickly as possible to give the innocent civilians a better chance of surviving this particular battle.
Exterminate the remaining the enemies to unblock another doorway with sticky webbing and use it to exit the area, then choose the hallway that breaks off to the left and follow it around until you are stopped by a ceiling cave-in to complete this part of the level.

Jailbreak
Turn right at the mountain of debris and blackened wood that now blocks your previously intended path, then enter the room at the end of hall in front of you to collect and equip the Shotgun.
The room you’re in right now is a warzone, so immediately disable the enemy’s heaviest artillery by locating the enormous monsters that emerge from the floor and destroying them with close-range shotgun blasts.
Continue clearing the Surveillance Room of enemies, then approach the green warning light next to the radiator in the corner and interact with the panel to restore the elevators back to working power.
Before the whole place is crawling with a new swarm of demons, turn around from the panel you just used and exit the surveillance room through the door ahead on the right.
Cut down the enemies that appear as you enter the next smoke-filled hallway ahead, then eliminate every monster, demon and prowling this small crossroads of corridors.
Remove the sticky netting from the doorway located at the fork in the halls and use it to reach the next area of the police station, then make your way towards the back right corner of the room and interact with the green emergency light on the wall to open the elevator doors.
After the cut scene ,immediately drop yourself down the dark and empty maintenance shaft to land on the roof of a passenger car parked several floors down.
Reattach the limbs that flew off your body upon impact with the steel elevator car, then drop to the dirt floor below and exit the shaft using the bizarre gaps left for us in the surrounding walls
Climb into the first of many checkered-tile hallways located in this basement area and immediately approach an exposed ventilation duct embedded in of the wall across from where you just exited the elevator shaft.
Stand about three feet away from the actual air vent and yank your head completely off its shoulders, then shoot it like a basketball player through the duct’s impossibly narrow opening. SWISH.
Within the ventilation system, roll your disembodied head forward along a single continuous air duct until you reach a rusted grate blocking the path ahead, then gently push it open to fall forward into the room below and activate a cut scene.
Enter the next area at the bottom of the steps, then climb a second set of steps to join your partner in the security room above.
Interact with the green light in the security room to open the cell doors below, then exit this building to activate a cut scene in which Nikki disappears after being chased off by a rabid pack of demons.
Climb the steps ahead and take out the enemies surrounding your current position, then follow the last corridor on the left to reach the factory and activate a cut scene in which you encounter an enormous demon bear called Panda to complete this part of the level.

Boss Battle: Panda
When the battle begins, either maintain or increase your current distance from the Panda to watch his frequent tantrums of violence, fire and chaos destroy the city from afar.
If the Panda charges at you while vomiting lava, give yourself enough time and distance beforehand to either find effective cover or dodge the outburst completely with some fancy combat rolls.
To drain this particular boss’ health during combat, equip and use either your most powerful weapon (SHOTGUN) or the one with the highest rate of fire (SMG).
Aim and fire upon the bear’s pulsating patches of glowing orange fur to exploit his vulnerabilities for additional damage. These weakness can be exposed and capitalized on whether the boss is in a standing or prone position.
Continue scoring hits with your more powerful weaponry, focusing on the vulnerable spots that appear on the beast’s head in particular, but always retreat whenever its apparent that you may not escape from this one.
When you’ve unloaded so many rounds into the Panda that he eventually collapses to the ground, approach his fallen body and strike the vulnerable area covering his ass with sword combos to make sure this bear never gets up.
Stay on the attack at all times, depriving yourself of food and sleep in order to constantly keep the bear from regaining any of the strength it would need to continue fighting.
One notable methods of combat when doing battle with a living monster in an enclosed space is using the environment to your advantage. Any explosive object such as barrels, propane tanks or cars should be used as a last resort to conquering the Panda.
A plan of attack that involves explosives is for when we want to cause a massive amount of damage to tip the scales in our favor. Other than that things like this are best detonated when the target is either standing right on top of the device or standing on his last leg of health.
This particular boss recharges his health too frequently so I gotta make sure he’s the only one who goes out in a blaze of glory to win this battle.
Repeat the previously mentioned assault/survival tactics to wear the Panda’s health down to almost 25% capacity and activate a cut scene in which the bear falls through the floor and into the subway tunnels below to complete this part of the level.
Boss Battle: Panda – Part 2
After the cut scene, charge towards the bear’s raised rear and open fire to draw his attention away from hunting Nikki amongst the subway trains.
The first chance you get, approach the subway platform’s back wall and break down the door you find there to free the prisoner.
Chase after Panda if he gallops away in the fear that he’s going to accidentally murder the world, but also stay close to make sure you’re there to foil every miraculous recovery, second-wind scenario, and comeback story that could result in going back to the drawing board when fighting a monster like that.
Try to remain on the subway platforms for as long as possible to avoid the distraction and danger of moving trains that rush by like thunder. Shooting Panda from the safety of one of the other platform keeps the team safe and confuses the animal into dropping its guard.
Once you’ve managed to steadily maintain keep bear’s health drained tp around 25% capacity, it’s time for a killing blow. Position yourself on the edge of a platform across from the one that the bear currently occupies and unholster the most power weapon you can carry.
Drop down over the edge of the platform and land on a section of neutrally charged train tracks below, then wait for the sights and sounds that indicate an oncoming train’s arrival from either of the tunnels pointed towards in my direction.
Make a rough estimation of how close the oncoming train is based on the intensity of the lights, smoke and sound covering the tracks around you, then open fire on the bear when there’s hardly any time left.
Back away towards another platform waiting behind you to lure Panda onto the tracks, then quickly retreat to the high ground just as the train passes to collide head-on with the monstrous bear creature.
Repeat the previous tactic if necessary until a cut scene activates in which Panda is struck by a moving train, then carried off in defeat to complete this part of the level.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Mind the gap (20 points): Lure Panda Bear in front of a train.

Subway
Return to the center platform and collect whatever ammo you can find on the ground, then approach the escalators locked behind a security gate on one of the narrow platforms against the wall.
Interact with the green light beside the escalators to gain access to the floor above, then make your way to the right and enter the control room that oversees the station to interact with another green light that unblocks the subway tunnels below.
Exit the room and make your way down the escalators to the right, then take out the flying enemies above by staying on the move while firing to avoid the debris they throw down at you.
Continue clearing the train station of enemies scattered across the various platforms and alcoves, then focus your attention on destroying the large monsters when they eventually erupt from the ground below.
After you are told the “coast is clear”, approach the train docked at the main platform and enter the subway tunnel positioned behind it by dropping onto the tracks below.
Enter the first room on the right to activate a cut scene in which a Sopon bursts from the wall in front you, then eliminate the enemy and approach the water pipe with a gaping hole running across it.
Remove your character’s head and toss it into the hole at the base of the leaking pipe,, then follow the decapitated cranium’s ride through a series of interconnecting water mains to drop into the next area.
Only move back and forth across this small room with the intent of either assaulting the latest enemy in your sights or destroying the industrial blue pipes attached to every surface in the area.
When the room has filled to capacity with flammable gas, strike a spark with your sword to cause an explosion that wiped out every living thing in the near vicinity except you.
Afterwards, exit the room by breaking through a couch lodged in one of the open doorways and interact with the prisoner at the bottom of the steps to free her.
Exit this area through the doorway at the bottom of the steps to the left, then roll forward past the explosions around you to activate a cut scene in which you encounter a large plant enemy with the head of a rocket launcher to complete this part of the level.

Subway Network
Move towards the plant enemy waiting for you at the opposite end of the room by following the tracks in the right lane, then switch to the left lane when the tunnel ahead becomes blocked by a mine cart.
As you are forced over the left side of the tunnel ahead, be ready to dodge or eliminate the enemies that will inevitably crash through the wall as an ambush tactic.
Switch back to the right lane’s set of track as you continue forward to encounter the additional wave of enemies emerging from behind the wall to your left. Wait for the majority of these thugs to congregate around the wooden support beams nearby, then open fire on the explosive barrels around their feet to scatter them in every direction after the blast.
Use any of the remaining barrels to kill any of the remaining enemies, then enter the next orange-lit hall to the left and collect the ammo before dealing with the enemy that suddenly appears.
Return to the main tunnel area and make a left, then search the cargo of nearby mine carts for XP and continue forward into the left lane of mine track.
Move forward to deal with the enemies emerging from behind the walls, then search the area for a tunnel of multi-colored spotlights and rounded knocks carved straight into the walls.
Gather supplies from around the multi-colored tunnel and toss your head into the carts to collect additional XP, then charge down the tunnel towards those robotic plant things and take a beating.
Clear out the military flowers from the tunnel and continue forward, then use the rainbow steps to explore the floor above and fight off another swarm of enemies.with close range sword slashes.
Climb the next set of steps around the corner ahead and move within the doorway at the edge of the subway tracks to get a lay of the land.
After the subway car passes by on the track nearest you, move out onto the rails and make a left to collect additional supplies in front of the electrified section of track.
Turn around and head in the opposite direction down the subway tracks, then continue pick up XP and dodging the trains that bear down on you from either lane.
Re-join your partner and eliminate the enemies that drop from the ceiling, while continuing to dodge the trains and reviving Arcadia any time she is knocked down.
Clear the tunnel of enemies to activate a cut scene in which the electrified section of the track ahead is deactivated, then continue forward past the previously blocked area and dodge the runaway train by jumping between the two lanes.
Continue forward along to the tracks to reach a section of the tunnel that’s on fire, then use the ramp to enter the train blocking your way and eliminate the enemies within.
Exit the car through a door on the left and continue eliminating the enemies in the area surrounded by flames, then move left through the next train ahead and take out the creatures in your path. with the sword.
When you reach the last car and have clear the area of enemies, exit the train and move through the open doorway marked: “Danger”
Move down the steps around the next corner ahead and use your sword to break open the chained door at the bottom, then continue forward to activate a cut scene in which you locate Nikki to complete this part of the level.

Save Nikki…Again
Make your way towards the train by running along the rightmost section of track beside you as missiles are fired from ahead.
When you reach the platform across from you, take out the rocket launcher enemy and drop to the ground floor below.
Clear out the enemies around you, then cross over to the opposite side of the ground floor by using one of the corridors within the sidewalls of the area.
Take out the remaining enemies in the area and climb the nearby metal staircase to the floor above, then move towards the trains in the distance across the yellow and black striped floor.
Destroy the beams in front of you to cause a structural collapse, then use the ramp that falls down in the aftermath to reach the next floor above.
Take out the missile launcher enemy on the uppermost landing and follow the walkway you’re on around the room, then eliminate another wave of creatures and continue ahead until you reach a dead end that’s been webbed shut.
Eliminate the flying enemies that appear above by running back and forth across the walkway to evade their laser-guided attacks, then move through the previously blocked doorway to complete this level.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Serve and Protect (20 points): Save Nikki.

SEWER
Burning Man
Charge towards the wave of enemies that appears in front of you and clear them from the area, then then search the room and for XP and exit through the doorway that was previously webbed closed to learn about Fire Propagation.
Afterwards, visit the shop to purchase Fire Bullets and pass through the flame jet ahead to set yourself ablaze.
Continue forward through the tunnel to collect XP, eliminate the enemies and torch the various empty barrels with your burning body, then re-ignite using one of these flaming containers you created and find the steps that lead to the floor above.
Eliminate the flaming enemies that burst through the wall ahead and continue forward to ignite more barrels in the next area, then continue moving in an upstairs direction and keep the areas around you burning.
Continue moving upwards through the building until you reach a green-lit switch and strike it with the sword to open the barred doorway nearby, then continue forward through the corridor to a metal walkway that overlooks the room from the start of this level.
Move along the walkway and take out the enemies in your path, then break through the next chained door on your right and activate the green-lit switch behind it to activate a cut scene in which the platform is raised.
Continue left along the hallway you’re in and make the last available right, then remove your head and toss it through the circular opening in the wall so that it lands in the room on the other side.
Reform your body and navigate down the tunnel by waiting for pauses in the various blasts of sludge shooting from the walls, then toss your disembodied head through the circular opening at the end and reform in the next room.
Ignite your body on the nearby burning barrel and eliminate the surrounding enemies from the room, then exit through the door that was previously webbed shut and head down the next set of steps.
Take out the cement pillars to quickly eliminate the enemies in the next area and exit through the previously-webbed door, then use the darkened tunnel to activate a cut scene in which you encounter a swarm of flying creatures.
Run in a continuous circle around the room to take out the flying enemies and the ones on the ground with an effective automatic weapon. For an effective assault, keep your body ignited to increase damage and move across the walkway on the level above to employ a tactical vantage point.
After clearing this area of all enemies, move down the stairs leading to platform you raised earlier and drop through the missing floor in the room below to complete this part of the level.

Darkened Sewers
Ignite yourself and eliminate the enemies that descend upon you in this new area, then move to the back of the room and take a left towards the far wall.
Navigate around the burst of sludge to enter the open doorway in the wall and follow the next corridor to another jet of sewage shooting in front of you, then cut the chain to your left and continue forward.
Climb the stairs in the back left corner and move across a metal walkway by either dodging the various jets of slime or slicing the nearby chains with your sword, then enter a tunnel covered with graffiti and use it to reach another open chamber in the sewer.
Use the nearby stairs to reach the area below and eliminate the enemies that appear, then move through the doorway that unseals beside the debris covered brick wall and exit into the next area.
Move forward across the room fighting off enemies until you can reach the stairs in the back right corner, then destroy the creature armed with a rocket launcher at the top of the first landing and finish clearing the room.
Make your way to the walkway above, then hit the next green-lit switch to open the nearby barred doorway and rejoin the two ladies in your party.
Cut the series of chains to pass by the jets of sewage blocking the path ahead and make your next right, then shut off another line of slime blasts and wait for Arcadia and Nikki to catch up behind you.
Hit the green-lit lever and exit into the next tunnel, then follow it around to reach an open room and wait for further instructions that set Arcadia in motion to a nearby wall.
Interact with the green-lit switch that pops on near Arcadia, then allow the two ladies to exit the room so you can encounter the Hippo Boss to complete this part of the level.

Boss Battle: Hippo
Turn around from the switch and begin running in a circle around the forcefield that Hippo has created, then shoot the enemies that emerge from the bubble and allow them to explode in close vicinity to the boss.
Use your most powerful automatic weapon during this battle to eliminate the exploding enemies just as they exit the bubble and to destroy the neon sacs hanging from Hippo’s underbelly.
Continue detonating the enemies near the bubble to weaken the forcefield’s integrity until it disappears, then move around behind Hippo at close range and open fire on the neon-yellow sections of his body to cause significant damage.
When the forcefield reappears, stay on the move to keep a constant distance from Hippo as he moves around the area and fire upon the enemies that are just emerging from the bubble.
After the forcefield falls again, move towards Hippo to the point that you are almost beneath his underbelly and open fire on the remaining vulnerable sections of his body.
If you find yourself overwhelmed by the swarm of exploding creatures, take cover in one of the corridors that can be accessed via holes in the surrounding walls and take a moment to break the enemy’s momentum.
Repeat the previous method of attack, facing a critical influx of exploding enemies each time the bubble reappears, to continue deactivating the forcefield and carving off Hippo’s glowing body parts until he is defeated.
Throw your severed head into the geyser of water erupting from the floor and return to full form after it lands on the level above, then approach the console of levers in front ahead and draw your sword.
Strike the levers in this order to successfully connect the pipes: second leftmost – rightmost – second leftmost – second rightmost – rightmost – leftmost – second rightmost – rightmost.
Afterwards, toss your head into the geyser on the second story and follow the severed skull’s path as it drops into the pipeline and travels down them into the next room.
Destroy the control panel lit-up on the wall behind Arcadia and Nikki to raise the elevator you’re standing on, then collect the XP as you ascend to the sewage treatment plant at the top.
Exit to the outside and eliminate the various enemies that suddenly appear, then fight off another wave of flying creatures while continuing to clear the upper and lower levels of this area.
When all that remains is an enemy aiming down at you with a laser-sighted weapon, use one of your guns to take him out and activate a cut scene in which the water tower above collapses to complete the level.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Tower’n Inferno (20 points): Take down the water tower.

ARCADIA’S APARTMENT
Move forward into Arcadia’s living room and take part in the heady conversation to catch up on the exposition, then interact with the shower in the bathroom to clean off the stink of the sewer.
Afterwards, interact with the toilet to do your business and check your reflection in the mirror before returning to the living room.
Sit in the armchair across from Arcadia and Nikki to read an enlightening magazine, then interact with other furniture or objects within the apartment to go through a variety of mundane activities.
When you’ve wasted as much time as possible, exit the apartment through the front door to activate another cut scene and complete this level.

STREETS TO CHURCH
Suspension Bridge
Move across the suspension bridge to activate a cut scene in which you encounter another Panda Bear who knocks you down to the level below, then continue forward and dodge the oncoming taxi cabs
Run forward across the bridge until a train crash blocks your path, then move into the open car on the right and exit through the next opening ahead to activate a cut scene in which the doors close behind you.
Eliminate the flaming enemies that appear in this area and move forward across the tracks, then turn around to take out the creatures that drop down on the train behind you.
Exit the area through a hole torn in one of the surrounding fences to make a left down the street, then navigate between the abandoned vehicles until the section of bridge ahead breaks in half to eliminate a wave of enemies that falls from above.
Move across the bridge that eventually falls between the gap in the bridge and drop down into the next area ahead, then continue forward across the crumbling asphalt and sidestep the incoming vehicles.
Reach the next section of bridge ahead to activate a cut scene in which your head falls to the streets below, then move around the alley and eliminate the enemies that appear.
Make a left into the basketball court and clear the area of all threats that emerge, then approach the alleyway with a burst hydrant at it entrance and eliminate the remaining enemies to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, move forward through the flooded alleyway you just cleared and turn around to open fire on the new enemy that jumps between the walls above.
Smash through the nearby wooden fence to enter a grassy clearing and pick up the Firefly Blade in the bushes, then use it take out another wave of the new creatures and activate a cut scene in which the Panda re-appears to complete this part of the level.

Boss Battle: Return of the Panda
When the boss first arrives, back away to a safe distance and wait for the Panda’s running charge in your direction to sidestep the attack with a combat roll.
Let the Panda smash into the wall to open fire on him with automatic weapons and repeat this assault until additional enemies appear, then tear ass into the alleyway where you acquired the Firefly Blade earlier.
Don’t stop moving until you reach the section of the alley surrounded by chain link fence, then turn around and walk slowly towards Panda while firing until he eventually collapses to the ground.
Run back towards the downed boss and use your guns to continue firing upon the Panda’s single flaming weak spot, then run in the opposite direction back down the alleyway and turn around at the wall.
Wait for the boss to charge down the alleyway in your direction and roll out of his way, then continue firing upon the Panda by using the nearby grassy area to keep a safe distance.
Move to the corner where the grass and the entrance to the alleyway meet as a section of chain link fence, then draw the boss into a running charge and roll away to leave him standing in this specific location.
Quickly move back into the alley’s entrance to shoot through the section of chain link fence now placed between you and Panda, then continue the assault from this position of temporary safety while the boss tries to get at you unsuccessfully.
When the Panda finally moves around the fence, return to the open courtyard from before by running backwards down the alley while continuing to fire your guns at the boss.
Roll away when the boss charges back out of the alley and enter the grassy area uncovered by the Panda’s initial entrance, then stand next to the tree in the front corner and fire at the Panda through the safety of a chain link fence.
Continue this assault until the Panda falls to the ground again and you can move in for another close range assault that causes critical damage, then return to the same alleyway from before when the bear is back on its feet.
Repeat the aforementioned assault tactics to safely and continuously drain the boss’ health until he falls over for a final time, then move in close to finish the Panda’s remaining life and complete this level.

Church
After defeating the Panda and activating a cut scene, eliminate the enemy and use doorway that was opened in the alley to exit this area.
Break open the public phone to absorb electricity, then activate the elevator button and wait for the doors to open and eliminate the enemies inside the car.
Enter the elevator to reach the next area, then exit the car and move up the collapsed portion of ceiling that leads to the floor above you.
Move into the billiards room immediately on your right to collect XP and clear out the remaining enemies in this area, then use the next webbed doorway that unseals to reach an outside balcony head to the left.
Jump over the railing to grab the yellow collectible, then drop to the ground below and rejoin your friends to activate a cut scene in which the area is suddenly invaded by creatures.
Run around the courtyard and take out the numerous enemies with your sword until a cut scene activates, then exit through doorway that’s now available and move forward through the next hallway to reach the second floor landing of a mansion.
Search the adjacent second story room for supplies, then make your way down the carpeted staircase to reach the ground floor and activate a cut scene in which you gaze out the window with the ladies.
Absorb the electricity from a power box on the ground floor and use it to push the elevator button, then eliminate the enemies that suddenly appear in the hallways. rooms and flying by the ceiling above.
Climb back up to the second floor as a tactical vantage point and shoot down at the enemies below or flying nearby, then continue protecting your teammates until the elevator doors open to provide them with sanctuary.
Fight off the remaining creatures until a cut scene activates in which Nikki and Arcadia are talking in front of church to complete this level.

Boss Battle: Sangria
At the start of this battle, sprint forward at full speed between the pews and slightly to the right of Sangria as he charges past you in a blue of destruction, then turn around and head towards one of the checkered tile landings running along the length of the church.
Collect as much XP as possible by running around the church’s perimeter and grabbing the collectible left on the altar, then purchase any remaining abilities in the shop to increase the effectiveness of either your offensive strikes or resiliency to damage.
Afterwards, equip an automatic weapon to repeatedly dodge Sangria’s charging attacks, while firing at him in between evasive combat rolls.
If the boss jumps to the ceiling above, aim your guns in the same upward direction and continue firing until a cut scene activates in which Nikki manages to weaken Sangria with some sort of magic.
Afterwards, charge towards Sangria and open fire as he jumps to the ceiling above and disappears within the walls.
Eliminate the additional enemies that drop down until Sangria returns to the ground floor of the church, then keep yourself at a safe distance while running around him in continuous circles and draining his health with gunfire.
If a wide enough buffer zone is maintained between you and the boss, Sangria’s charging attacks can be evaded by a simple change in your current running direction rather than a combat roll. This will allow you to continue shooting Sangria across his backside after the running attack misses its mark and he rushes past you.
Draw the boss into a charging attack that positions him next to the concrete support beams lining the seating area, then destroy these breakable pillars to bring down a shower of rubble and inflict excessive damage to Sangria.
Eliminate another wave of additional enemies that appears after Sangria returns to hiding in the ceiling above, then continue the previous assault on the boss to chase him away again for athethird time in this battle.
As Sangria’s health bar is drained to about the 25% mark, increase the rate of damage you deliver by equip[ing your shotgun and switching your attack distance to close-range until the boss is defeated to complete the level.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Sangria, on ice (20 points): Defeat Sangria, Duke of Hell.

AGENCY HQ
Boss Battle: The Chief
After a conversation of pure exposition in Arcadia’s apartment, exit through the front door to activate a cut scene in which your team meets with the Chief at HQ for another epic boss battle.
With a 6 minute timer counting down, approach one of the Atlas statues in the room and fire upon the neon orange fireball above it until the flame is extinguished.
Find the Chief using a pool of yellow energy in the wall to charge his body and repeatedly attack the source to drain the health bar significantly, then shoot out the glow within a nearby column to rotate the entire room upside down.
Drop a few feet down onto the ceiling, then aim your weapons directly at the boss floating above and fire at the energy sources whenever the Chief uses them to charge again.
Continue firing upon these activated energy sources and return to the previous location by jumping up the veiny ridges of muscle in the wall, then approach the upside-down statute of Atlas at the top and extinguish the flame with another spray of bullets.
Destroy another glowing section of a nearby tendon pillar to rotate the room again, then return to your assault on the Chief and his energy sources until you are dropped onto one of the office’s surrounding walls.
Fire upward to completely drain the Cheif’s first stage of health and cause monstrous tentacle to burst from the ground, then extinguish the flame on the next Atlas statue and support column to rotate the room for a third time.
When you land on the next wall surface, jump over the muscular mounds to approach the Chief as he charges against another energy source and open fire on it.
Extinguish another column to rotate the room, then extinguish the next flame within a nearby Atlas statue and fire upon the Chief’s energy sources to cause further damage.
Locate the next glowing pillar to flip the office again, then repeat the aforementioned tactics until the Chief’s forcefield has disappeared to defeat the boss and complete this part of the level.

Escape from HQ
Retreat from the enormous demon dog and use the open doorway filled with flames to ignite your body, then charge towards the enemy and attack with a powerful automatic weapon.
Circle the receptionist’s desk by the windows to stay consistently protected while firing on the run, then defeat the creature to open the sealed elevator car and ascend to the floor above.
Exit the elevator to encounter another Hippo, then detonate the numerous creatures emerging from the forcefield or chop down the surrounding support columns to deactivate the larger enemy’s defense.
Use this method to repeatedly attack the Hippo’s vulnerable areas until it’s defeated for good, then enter the hallway marked “5A” to activate a cut scene in which a helicopter crashes into the building.
Do your best to dodge the flying piece of wreckage that flies towards you, then move forward to push through the burning helicopter remains and clear the next area of all enemies.
Exit through the next open corridor and use it to reach a room with a hidden switch, then tear off one of your arms and aim your next throw through an opening above the generator room’s window.
Toss the arm into the generator room so that it lands inside the electrified floor panel to reveal the next webbed-off area beside you, then quickly eliminate the enemies that appear before the double doors you just activated can shut close.
Enter the next hall to reach a balcony that overlooks an enormous circular room and head to the right , then grab the collectible in the first elevator on the left and continue forward around the walkway.
Eliminate the enemies in your path to approach the last elevator ahead, then wait for Arcadia to open the doors and enter the car to ascend.
After the elevator collapses, run up the inclined glass tube with Arcadia to reach the next floor above and make a right to clear out a wave of enemies.
Enter the next open room on the left and eliminate the enemies around the flaming set of steps ahead, then follow the corridor in the back right corner of the area activate a cut scene in which you and Arcadia reach the roof of the building.
Search the alcoves of the upper landing you’re on for XP and clear out the roof’s remaining enemies to unseal the webbed doorway ahead, then use it to exit the area and activate a cut scene in which you dive off the edge of the building.
As you fall from the building, open fire on the hunks of debris flying up towards Arcadia to destroy them and continue protecting her in this way until a cut scene activates to complete the level.

DESTROYED STREETS
Reinforcements
After reviving Arcadia with a blood transfusion, search the surrounding area for items of interaction before exiting the apartment and activating a cut scene in which you travel to the destroyed streets.
Upon arrival, move across the area eliminating enemies and collecting supplies until you eventually acquire the Grenade Launcher as part of your arsenal.
Continue clearing the streets of enemies and reviving teammates whenever necessary until a demon rolls down from above in a ball, then eliminate him as well to unleash a pair of Pandas upon the area.
Fire upon each Pandas while running backwards through the giant hole they just made in the surrounding barricade wall, then come to a stop at the edge of a lava pit located just outside the previous area and wait for one of the bears to charge towards you at full speed.
Use a combat roll to dodge the Panda so that he tumbles headfirst into the lava pit behind you, then repeat this tactic to eliminate the remaining demon bear and activate a cut scene.
Approach Arcadia’s new location to cause a cave-in behind you, then continue down the steps and drop to the next chunk of street below.
Turn right and toss your head out over the lava pit to grab the collectible, then reform and take out the enemies attacking from beside you and on the ledges in the distance.
Continue around the broken ledge you’re on to enter a giant sewer pipe, then move through it to eliminate another wave of enemies and activate a cut scene in which cars rain down from above.
Fight your way up the black and yellow striped ramp above to reach the next collapsing area with stick figures painted on the ground, then clear out the surrounding enemies by igniting your body or chopping down cement support beams.
Search the broken sections of the parking structure for XP and other collectibles, then move left along the road beneath the obverhang to eliminate the next wave of enemies at the top and complete this part of the level.

Whirlwind
Follow the road on your right around the next corner and cross the bridge of debris to the left, then continue along the broken ledge to a red line painted on the floor and take out the enemies that appear in the area.
After the rubble that’s been blocking the path collapses in a fiery heap, fight your way across the bridge of destroyed streets and continue to the left along the next series of broken ledges.
Shift your line of sight upwards to track the building ahead that suddenly starts tipping over, then locate the only accessible window on the side facing you and sprint beneath it before the structure flattens your body.
When the building crashes to the ground around you, stand still to pass through the open window and activate a cut scene in which enemies attack from ahead.
Fight your way forward into the next area and avoid dropping through the windows in the floor, then clear out the remaining enemies and exit through an opening in one of the surrounding corners.
Make a left in the next room and navigate around the floor windows to reach the opposite wall, then enter the opening in the left corner and ascend to the floor above to activate a cut scene in which a tornado appears.
Approach the missing section of wall that faces the tornado and clear out the flying enemies ahead, then cross the bridge that falls down beside you and drop into the concrete pipeline on the other side.
Use the pipe to reach the next section of broken streets below and eliminate the various enemies that approach, then follow the next cracked path ahead to finish clearing out the remaining threats in the area.
Afterwards, approach the corner affected by visibly strong gusts of wind and continue towards it until a cut scene activates in which you are carried off by the twister.
While flying in circles within the tornado’s funnel, aim your gunsights in various direction to locate and destroy approaching enemies until a cut scene activate to complete the level.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Tumble Dried (20 points): Get caught up in the whirlwind.

DEMON’S NEST
Lobby Entrance
Throughout the various battles that will arise in this one area, keep a look out for the icon that indicates a critical drop in Arcadia’s health and revive her immediately when the time comes. This will keep a second pair of guns firing continuously on the enemies whenever you are indisposed or angling for a double team attack.
Use previously employed combat tactics to deactivate the Hippo’s forcefield by detonating smaller enemies against it, then attack the creature’s vulnerable areas until he’s finally defeated and approach the steps leading to the entrance of the Demon’s Nest.
Take out the rocket launcher enemies at the top of the steps by first zig-zagging around their missiles and eliminate any remaining enemies in the area after that, then approach the building’s front entrance to encounter a wave of demons blocking the doorway.
Move backwards down the steps to distance yourself from these creatures quickly, then open fire with a powerful weapon, like the shotgun or grenade launcher, and continue the assault until the area is clear again.
Approach the front doorway again to activate a cut scene in which Arcadia is critically wounded at the bottom of the steps behind you, then go back to revive her before fighting your way through the entrance and into the building.
Cross to the opposite side of the lobby and move alone the inclined portion of rubble to clear out the enemies occupying it, then climb the staircase that unseals nearby and fight your way up the slanted platform at the top.
Clear the enemies from the platform until the next staircase above is uncovered, then climb it to reach another inclined section of floor at the top and completely exterminate another wave of creatures waiting for you.
Make your way up the next previously-blocked staircase and sidestep the rolling demon balls by waiting for them to pass you at each new set of steps before moving on, then continue the ascent until a cut scene activates.
Afterwards, move up the long ramp ahead that bridges the next two floors of the building and zig-zag around the enemies that roll down it until you reach the top.
Clear the upper landing of enemies without rolling back down the incline, then interact with the electrical panel to open the previously sealed elevator and enter the car to complete this part of the level.

Top Floor War
Exit the elevator and move through the catacombs until you reach a large circular opening ahead, then drop past it into the pit below and collect any available supplies or XP.
Almost immediately, the room will begin to fill with a wide variety of creatures for an extended period of time and Arcadia will need to be revived on a consistent basis.
One way to take advantage of this battlefield is by moving between the floor of the pit and the upper ledge surrounding it. This will make you harder to hit and allow for vantage points that provide efficient kills.
When traveling along the outer ledge, equip a long-distance rifle or SMG to eliminate enemies on the move or ones that fire projectiles.
While doing battle in the pit or against enemies stuck in the ground, equip the Firefly Blade to quickly hack away at one specific area or to fend off a group of creatures swarming you from all sides.
Move around the area to eliminate the enemies armed with rocket launchers first, then focus on the spoons and larger creatures that emerge from the ground as well.
Use a long range weapon to eliminate the exploding enemies or creatures that have been set ablaze until a cut scene activates, then take out the flaming demon dogs that approach by circling the outer ledge and shooting at them from afar.
After clearing the area, exit through the next available tunnel and activate a cut scene in which you encounter Alex to complete this part of the level.

Boss Battle: Alex
At start of the battle, equip your SMG to immediately open fire on the boss across from you and keep a safe distance while running from side-to-side.
You can also cause excessive damage by shooting the stone pillars or exploding enemies that Alex momentarily stands by.
When Alex stands still for a moment, run up to him at close-range and hack away at the boss with your sword until he retreats.
Continue spraying Alex with bullets as he jumps back and forth across the level at a distance, then wait for him to run a few steps in your direction and use a combat roll to evade the boss’ lunging attack.
Repeat the previous assault tactic until Alex’s life is completely drained and he drops to both knees, then strike his limp body with your sword to activate a cut scene in which the boss gains a second wind to refill a now yellow health bar.
Return to shooting Alex as he moves about the platform, but this time move away from the boss at all times while firing and side-step his lunging attack whenever he jumps or slides too close to your personal space.
Continue attacking the boss in this way to drop him to his knees and unleash a flurry of sword strikes at close range, then repeat the previous assault until Alex’s life is completely drained again.
Hit Alex with an additional strike after he’s downed to activate a cut scene in which his life returns as a third stage orange health bar, then move in a continuous circle around the edge of the platform while firing your automatic weapons.
Take out the lesser enemies that appear so that Alex is left without any for of defensive cover, then execute a combat roll whenever the boss changes direction or disappears completely to evade his attacks.
Continue firing upon the boss until his health is entirely drained, then deliver the final blow with your sword and activate a cut scene in which you decapitate Alex and rescue Nikki to complete this level.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: There can be only one! (20 points): Defeat your nemesis.

BOSS BATTLE: ASTAROTH
Wait for Nikki to create a circular blue spell directly in front of Astaroth, then charge towards the boss and strike out repeatedly with your sword until he shatters the magical symbol.
Retreat to the opposite end of the platform and clear out the smaller enemies deposited around you by Astaroth, then wait for the spells to reappear and fire your SMG through them one at a time to hit the boss for damage.
Wait for the boss to slam one of his giant tentacles on the platform, then charge your sword with a nearby spell that appears and use it to slash Astaroth’s exposed arm repeatedly.
When Astaroth suddenly laughs during the previous attack on his arm, roll away to safety before the enormous tentacle can swing into you and prepare for the boss’ next offensive weapon.
To evade the twin lasers that shoot from Astaroth’s body, stay on the move at all times and retreat from the red beams when they suddenly narrow themselves beside each other.
Clear out the second wave of smaller enemies that Astaroth drops on you, then destroy the next set of spells that appears with gun shots on the run from long-range to continue evading the lasers.
If Astaroth suddenly raises a tentacle straight into the air, prepare to jump after the impact and avoid a charged attack that runs through the floor of the platform.
Wait for a tentacle to slam down and approach the magic symbol that appears, then take a moment to fire your SMG through the blue circle and remove a small slice of the boss’s health without breaking the spell.
Re-equip your sword and use it to finish destroying Nikki’s spell, then attack Astaroth’s exposed arm until you must roll away from his swinging tentacles.
Continue clearing out enemies, evading the lasers, firing through the symbols and attack Astaroth’s arms until you eventually lob the head off one of the boss’ tentacles.
Repeat the previous step to remove Astaroth’s other tentacled appendage and re-focus your efforts on just attacking the boss’ body by shooting SMGs through the circular spells.
Continue the aforementioned assault strategy, then drain Astaroth’s health entirely to activate a cut scene in which the boss mutates to a stronger form of creature and steals your eye.
Reform your body upon returning to the battle and clear out the enemies around you, then wait for the next spell to appear and jump up the rock formation that rises from the grounf to reach it.
A the top of the mountain, move sideways behind the circle of magic and fire through the spell to repeatedly hit Astaroth on the other side until he slumps over.
Drop back to the platform below, then use your sword and the newly available spell to hack off one of Astaroth’s tentacles.
Repeat the previous combat maneuvers until another spell appears above, then make your way onto the rock steps that emerge and find an effective angle for shooting Astaroth in the face until he falls over again.
Hack off the boss’ remaining arm, then continue your assault from before to completely drain Astaroth’s health and activate a cut scene in which you are impaled by a tentacle.
Prepare to execute a sudden sword attack as you dangle from Astaroth’s tentacle, then lash out when you’re near the cockpit to activate a cut scene and complete the game.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Eye for an eye (20 points): Defeat Astaroth, King of Hell.
