Armored Core 5 Walkthrough
From the makers of Dark Souls, From Software returns with a fifth installment in the long-running Armored Core series. The giant robots return, slightly smaller in scope, but still ready to deploy lots of destruction in these tactical action games. Take control of a giant robot and stomp through city streets, while arming yourself and customizing your loud-outs to serve your needs on the battlefield. A full compliment of singleplayer and multiplayer options come standard, with a unique style of online combat where small times each designate a commander to help coordinate the massive war effort through a persistent global map. The Armored Core games have always been about hardcore metal-on-metal fights, and the fifth promises to return the series to deadly form.

MISSION 1
The Freeway
When the mission first begins, move forward across the freeway and read the information regarding the designated route that will lead you to the next objective or the next target that needs to be destroyed.
Practice the mech’s various combat and movement controls, such as firing your arm cannon or using the jetpack for sprinting maneuvers, then continue down the road ahead and receive your first on-screen objective: Crush the Resistance.
Make your way around the corner and approach a squad of enemy vehicles for the first time, then use the jetpack to launch yourself repeatedly from side to side and dodge the incoming missiles.
Position your large crosshairs over the source of the incoming projectiles and keep it steady, then use the cannon attached to the mechs arm to destroy the patrol of enemies blocking the road and continue forward until you reach the broken edge of the freeway.
Use the jetpack to launch the mech across the gap and land atop the broken section of asphalt on the opposite side, then make your way to the top of the incline and continue forward to clear out the next group of enemies.
After clearing the road, continue forward at heightened speeds by launching yourself forward with the jetpack and stop at the next enemy patrol you encounter to eliminate their presence from both sides of the road.
Continue forward and target the Gun Battery on the rooftop in the distance to your left, then use missiles to destroy this threat and turn your weapons back down the road ahead to eliminate a larger robotic opponent occupying the median.
Take out the small cluster of opponents around the next corner and aim the mech’s weapon sights upwards while continuing forward , then shoot down the helicopter that suddenly rises into the air front of you with missiles.
Wait to allow another helicopter to ascend and destroy this one as well, then use the jetpack to cross the long gap in the freeway ahead and land on the other side.
Fight your way forward and keep your mech positioned against the rightmost concrete wall, then use the jetpack to launch the mech off the broken end of the freeway ahead and land in the street area below on your right.
Make your way up the cut street and doge the attacks of the next enemy ahead by sidestepping them with the jetpack, then destroy this opponent with well placed missile strikes and continue forward.
Stop when you reach the last available street on the right and destroy the transport plane hovering ahead in the near distance, then make your way down that same street beside you and use the jetpack to bulldoze forward through the various obstacles in the road.
Use missiles to destroy the larger enemy waiting for you in the next intersection ahead and make a left at this crossing, then turn around and eliminate the next few enemies that come around the corner.
Return to the intersection to make a left and open fire on the enemies in the distance before they can respond, then continue forward and launch a missile into the rock formation above to bring it down crashing to the ground.
Fight your way forward to the next intersection and activate a cutscene in which you encounter the Leader to complete this part of the mission.

The Leader
After the cut scene, back up down the current main road and keep the crosshairs trained directly ahead until you reach the second street to the right.
Wait for the Leader to come into view during his approach on your current location, then begin inflicting damage with a storm of gun and missile fire directed towards the enemy mech’s body.
If the enemy manages to fire off a missile strike, use your machine gun to shoot the rockets out of the air before they make contact.
Before the Leader is within distance for a powerful close-range attack, use the jetpack to launch yourself down the street to the right and around the next corner to move across an open urban area.
Turn around to bombard the Leader with another long-distance assault, after the enemy comes racing around the previous corner in current pursuit of your mech, then continue inflicting damage until a cut scene activates in which the AC withdraws from the fight.
Aim the crosshairs straight up and shoot down any helicopters that happen fly by at this moment, then enter scan mode to re-discover the next objective’s designated route and make your way towards it.
Should you encounter enemy tanks during this part of the journey, move in a circle around them to stay ahead of the cannon and fire charged blasts into the vehicle’s rear to destroy it.
Follow the indicated route as it appears to navigate your way through a series of city streets and bad neighborhoods until you reach a helipad located beside a bridge.
Destroy any helicopters that may currently be using this nearby landing zone and continue entering scan mode every so often to stay consistently along the indicated route until you have defeated the second tank enemy encountered.
Follow the route beneath the next bridge ahead and turn right when you’re on the other side, then destroy the airplane transport in the distance and turn around to enter scan mode ahead.
Move back under the previous bridge and remain beneath the structure as you move along the indicated route, then continue following the bridge around until you see the helipad behind a fence on the left.
Jump onto the unoccupied helipad and press the indicated button to enter the garage and complete this part of the mission.

The Sewers
Use scan mode to locate the next direction of the indicated route and follow it away from the helipad and back beneath the bridge you traveled under earlier.
Follow the bridge back around until you see a tank waiting at an intersection in the distance, then approach this vehicle to destroy it and enter scan mode to ensure that you continue along the designated route.
Take out the larger enemies that stand in your way with missile attacks and side-to-side evasive maneuvering, then follow the route’s path across a bridge to destroy the tanks on the other side and shutdown the helicopter that fly by above.
Move forward up the street to approach a larger than average opponent located on the road behind the next intersection ahead.
Position yourself in the middle of this intersection and launch some well-aimed missiles into the enemy mech’s body until visible damage has been caused or a barrage of homing rockets are fired towards you.
As the large enemy mech continues to approach and opes fire with projectile attacks of his own, launch your mech sideways to take cover behind one of the buildings on either side of the street entrance in front of you.
Stay off to the side and out of the large enemy mech’s sight until the counter-attack has temporarily died down, then move back out into the intersection and unload a few charged projectiles into the your opponent’s vehicle for further damage infliction.
You can stand out in the open intersection for as long as you want to line up the next shot for accuracy or to unload as many rounds as possible in a short period. However once the enemy launches a counter-strike, you will need to retreat back behind one of the buildings beside you.
Continue sliding back and forth across the entrance to the street currently being occupied by the Leader, then fire a swarm of missiles strikes up the road in question to inflict further damage upon the enemy mech and repeat this tactic until the boss explodes.
Make your way forward up the street that was just previously guarded by the Leader and enter the next open subway tunnel ahead on the right, then continue down the tunnel until your mech drops through a hole in the floor.
Enter scan mode to follow the designated route ahead until your mech falls through another hole in the floor, then continue forward along the pipeline to reach an enormous and rounded open area.
Drop into the water at the bottom level of this chamber and approach one of the surrounding walls with a narrow and broken ledge sticking out from it above.
Jump onto what’s left of this inclined walkway and use it to enter the next tunnel above on the right, then move through it to reach another rounded chamber and make a right up the ledge just outside of the open doorway.
Make your way around the narrow incline to turn right into the tunnel you find at the top, then repeat this strategy to scale two more of large rounded rooms located within the sewers.
After climbing to the top of the third rounded room, make your way forward to pass the open tunnel on the right and move into the next area ahead to complete the mission.

MISSION 2
Enemy Re-Enforcements
After you have gained control of the mech, use scan mode to locate the designated route and head forward to begin moving along it.
Use the jetpack to blast across the freeway at a quicker pace and eliminate the first two security drones that eject straight up into the air with your missile launcher, then smash through the next wall ahead and continue forward.
Open fire on the ground units to clear the road ahead and continue forward, then target the enemies flying in a circle around you and blow them out of the sky when they come to a momentary stop.
Continue fighting your way around the next corner and through the wall ahead, then destroy the enemy mech with a missile strike by taking cover behind the stacks of crates beside you.
Destroy the wave of ground units in the distance ahead with missile strikes and continue forward, then shoot down the enemy aircraft and the other surveillance droid as they rise in front of you at the next corner.
Continue following the freeway to clear out the tanks ahead and smash through another wall, then travel forward along the designated route and open fire the enemy mech that ambushes you from the right.
Take cover behind one of crate stacks and shoot down the surveillance droids that eject into the air above the enemy mech, then circle around the outer edge of the shipping yard and continue clearing the area of the attack planes that have arrived.
Destroy the AC unit with a volley of missile strikes and back away from the enemy before it self destructs to activate a cut scene in which re-enforcements are deployed onto the city rooftops.
Follow the designated route out of the shipping yard to enter the city streets and fire the jetpack to launch yourself on top of one of the nearby rooftops, then look for sweeping red lasers to locate the enemy re-enforcements and use the surrounding buildings was cover to approach them safely.
Make your way to the base of a building currently being occupied by an enemy re-enforcement and fire at it from below with missile strikes to eventually destroy this sniping opponent.
Repeat this pattern of attack as you move across the city to safely locate and destroy the enemy re-enforcements perched atop the surrounding rooftops.
Use the jetpack to either reach enemy locations more quickly or to escape into the maze of city streets if you are ambushed by the AC mechs.
When attacking the enemies that patrol the streets, launch your assault from one of the rooftops surrounding it’s current position to fire down upon the mech under safe cover.
Continue shooting the surveillance droids down as they eject straight up into the air and clearing out the enemy re-enforcements until a cut scene activates in which your designated route is changed to complete this part of the mission.

The Tunnel
Destroy the bigger and stronger ACs that are now guarding the city by retreating from them down long straight-aways, then fire at them while moving backwards with missile volleys to cause damage from a safe distance.
Use scan mode after each battle with an AC to continue following the designated route out of the city until you drop onto a bridge lined with railroad tracks, then move towards the next wave of enemies to approach the tunnel entrance.
As you follow the railroad tracks forward across the bridge, defeat the AC units you encounter by using the jetpack to circle around them at high speeds and fire continuously with missiles or machine gun rounds.
Clear away enemies guarding sections of the designated route in the distance by firing a series of missile strikes in their direction while continuing to move forward, then launch yourself on top of the surrounding walls on either side of you to destroy the snipers at close range.
Drop back onto the train tracks after eliminating the first pair of snipers and continue forward along the designated path, then use the jetpack to launch yourself into the tunnel entrance ahead at high speeds.
Stay on the center pathway as you move forward through the tunnel until an armored train appears ahead, then slide over onto the leftmost set of tracks to enter pursuit of this vehicle.
Use the jetpack to keep up with the moving train in front of you, then target the transport and unload a volley of missiles or a burst of machine gun fire into its rear car whenever possible.
Skid back and forth across the tunnel to evade the oncoming projectiles fired from the train, then continue shooting the armored vehicle until it comes to a stop and move in for a closer range attack.
Assault the stalled-out train from a near distance with your most powerful weapon until the transport begins moving again, then use the jetpack to quickly regain pursuit.
Continue attacking the train without losing sight of it until the armored transport is finally destroyed, then move forward through the wreckage until a cut scene activates in which the police ACs arrive on the scene.
Turn around to target the approaching police ACs and launch yourself backwards to avoid an initial ambush, then fight off the enemy mechs as they appear with sweeping sprays of machine gun fire.
Use the columns and doorways that pass in front of you as of cover while fending off the oncoming police ACs.
Wait for one of the ACs to blast towards your current position at high speeds, then dodge this charging enemy by launching your mech sideways and begin opening fire on him with close-range missile strikes.
Destroy the first enemy mech that charged towards you before one of his teammates can arrive to help, then continue retreating down the tunnel to repeat the previous assault on the remaining ACs.
Defeat all of the police ACs, then continue pursuing the armored train by blasting forward through the tunnel until a cut scene activates to complete the mission.

MISSION 3
Armored Train
Use the mech’s turbo boosters to blast yourself across the bridge at high speeds, then continue forward along the designated route upon reaching the city streets on the other side.
Shoot down the enemy aircraft that appear as you take the last left corner ahead, backing up if necessary to get a clearer line of sight on each opposing target.
Use missile strikes to eliminate the sniper mechs in the distance and continue fighting your way forward down the street, then take the right turn indicated on the designated route ahead.
Take out the sniper perched on the upper ledge of the building in the distance, then destroy the tanks blocking the rightmost path ahead by using missile strikes.
Switch to the street that forks left around the building and continue forward across the bridge to reach the next area of the city, then turn right to open fire on the aircraft with machine guns and the tanks in the distance with missiles.
Move forward and turn down first available street on the left, then use missiles to destroy the tank waiting at the end of the road and shoot down the aircraft that follow.
Make a right to take out the tanks and other enemies ahead, then shoot down the sniper perched on the last building to your left and follow the designated route around the next turn.
Drive forward beneath the overpass and use rockets to clear the path ahead of enemies until a cut scene activates in which the armored train returns, then drive over to the nearby garage by following the on-screen indicator and repair your mech for the next battle.
Afterwards, enter scan mode to locate the new designated route and use your mech’s turbo boosters to boost forward along it at high speeds.
Use the hover jets to launch yourself onto the overpass you were battling beneath earlier and turn right, then move forward to approach the railroad tracks ahead and wait for the armored train.
After the train passes by on the rails above, launch yourself up onto the tracks to begin pursuit and fire upon the rear car with missile strikes.
You can choose to either evade or destroy the snipers aiming their laser sights down onto the train tracks from the surrounding rooftops above.
Use the boosters to keep up with the train and disable it car-by-car with continuous missile fire, then move up alongside the transport after the first three sections are destroyed.
Continue firing missiles into the cars ahead that are still intact and using the boosters to keep pace with the train until you’ve disabled enough sections to bring the transport to a stop.
Drive the mech forward to the front of the stalled transport and continue firing upon each of the cars as you pass by until a cut scene activates in which the entire train explodes.

The Extraction Point
Enter scan mode to locate the newly designated route and make your way towards the disabled train’s caboose in that same direction.
Come to a stop just before crossing the next bridge ahead, then use the mech’s jets to levitate over the railing on your left and drop into the intersection below.
Back away from the enemies ahead and take them out with long-range rocket strikes, then follow the designated route around the next corner to your right and continue forward up the street.
Shoot down the drones that ascend straight up into the air above you and pick off snipers by opening fire on the rooftops from which the red laser beams originate.
Continue fighting your way forward across the next bridge ahead and take out the sniper at the end of the road by firing rockets at close range.
Use scan mode to re-locate the next objective and make your way down the designated route until a cut scene activates in which the disabled train launches a bundle of rockets tethered together by some sort of electrified blue rope.
Retreat immediately from your current location to avoid the incoming missile strike, then take a few additional lefts and rights down various nearby alleyways to stay ahead of the pursuing rockets.
Enter scan mode to relocate the designated route, then navigate the system of city streets ahead to continue in the direction of your next objective.
Use your boosters to accelerate down straightaways and fly past patrolling mechs without stopping to fight, then ascend into the air to land on the railroad tracks above and follow them into an enclosed bridge area.
As the level above begins to explode and after several enemies suddenly descend to surround your mech’s current position, use the turbo boost to accelerate across the remaining half of the bridge and complete the mission.

MISSION 4
First Two Facilities
Once you have control of the mech, enter scan mode to locate the designated route and boost forward to begin making your way down it.
Continue following the path ahead to reach a grassy field area and pass by a radio tower on your right, then move along the designated route to pass by a second radio tower and approach the next area with caution.
Make your way slowly up the road until you are attacked by oncoming snake enemies, then shift into revers and fire backwards to blow them out of the sky.
Drive back up the previous road and drop into the next area ahead, then point your crosshairs in the direction of the last snake attack’s origin and continue to shoot down these rapidly approaching enemies.
Relocate the designated route and continue following it across the area, then enter scan mode to search the next path around every corner ahead for land mines and destroy the ones you find with long-range missile strikes.
Check repeatedly for any overlooked landmines that still remain in your path by discharging a burst of gunfire into the road ahead every few seconds to see if anything detonates.
Continue following the designated route to reach an enormous crater in the ground ahead, then use your boosters to ramp off the lip of the pit and land in the hole below.
Make your way over to the incline that leads out of the crater and destroy the enemies guarding the path by firing rockets from a safe distance.
Use automatic fire to mow down the flying enemies that swoop in for an attack, then continue making your way up the incline and the hills above it to reach the next area above.
Enter scan mode to relocate the designated route and get back on it, then fire continuously into the area in font of you to fend of oncoming snake creatures.
Destroy the nearby ACs with missile strikes from a safe distance and follow the indicated route into the next area ahead littered with ancient ruins, then make a left through the burning debris to enter the garage and repair your mech.
Afterwards, use scan mode to relocate the designated route and move forward to make your way down it once again.
Take out the enemies beside you and enter scan mode to locate the new designated route, then boost towards the objective in the distance and turn left in front of the next grassy hill ahead.
Weave through the trail of land-mines on the ground in front of you and make a right onto the highway road ahead, then destroy the enemies in the distance by launching missile strikes from long range.
Continue forward along the road and take out the flying drones in the distance by launching rockets from the hilltops, then boost towards the facility ahead on the left.
Drive onto the ridge across from the facility so that you are overlooking from the front gate, then take out the enemies guarding the area by launching missile strikes.
As approaching enemies grow in number and strength, take cover under the bridge to your left and use it to remain safe in between firing upon the enemies flying above.
When the air attacks have ended, continue along the designated route to enter the facility ahead and destroy the enemy mechs patrolling the streets.
Clear the streets of all remaining enemies to activate a cut scene and receive the directions to the third facility, then use scan mode to locate the designated route and make your way down it to complete this part of the mission.

Third Facility
Activate scan mode so that you can locate and avoid the land-mines on the path ahead, then follow the designated route out of the second facility and towards your next objective.
Upon breaking through the second facility’s outer fence, use the mech’s boosters to launch yourself forward across the next canyon ahead and land on the road leading up the steep hill.
Drive or fly the mech to the hill’s peak and continue forward along the designated route, then turn right to fend off the enemies in the distance as you approach the bridge ahead.
As you drive across the bridge on the right, continue firing rockets at the flying drones ahead and fend off the snake assault that occurs upon reaching the other side.
Boost forward and fight your way through the constant onslaught of snake enemies by firing upon the source they originate from in the distance.
Continue shooting down the flying enemies located on either side of the canyon walls and rooftops above as you proceed forward through the ruined city, then point the targeting circle into the air and rotate 180 degrees every so often to fend off approaching threats.
Follow the designated route out of the city and towards the pair of lakes in the distance, then boost forward to avoid the oncoming rockets above and drive directly between the two murky pools.
Launch a missile strike on the row of ground enemies ahead and shoot down the flying drone above, then continue along the intended path to reach the third facility and activate a cut scene in which you encounter a Giant Weapon.
Boss Battle: Giant Weapon
After the cut scene, make your way back between the two pools of water and boost in the direct of the Giant Weapon to stay ahead of the laser blasts.
Keep the mech’s crosshairs trained on the mechanical leg currently facing in your direction and open fire on the orange laser that uncovers itself every so often to begin destroying it.
Continue boosting towards the Giant Weapon, using hills or various structures to take cover along the way, and fend off the oncoming projectile assaults as you approach at close range.
While keeping the mech’s crosshairs trained on the Giant Weapon above. approach the robotic leg currently firing the orange laser and stop a few feet away from it so that your targeting circle is pointed almost straight up into the air.
While boosting back and forth to evade the laser blasts, launch missile strikes into the orange target above and fend off counter projectile attacks until the weaponized leg has been destroyed.
Boost sideways to avoid the Giant Weapon’s follow-up assault, then ease off the turbo to circle outside the boss’ lower extremities at a much slower speed and inspect each one of them for activity.
Alternate between boosting away from enemy projectiles and slowly passing around in front of the Giant Weapon’s mechanical legs one-by-one until the orange laser appears again.
Repeat the previous steps to destroy another orange laser, then continue circling around the Giant Weapon and demolishing its robotic extremities until the battle is over.

MISSION 5
Submerged Coastal Sector
Once the mech is activated, enter scan mode to locate the designated route and move through the tunnel in front of you.
Boost forward through a barricade to encounter a large AC ahead on the left, then destroy this enema by backing away from him and opening fire with your automatic weaponry.
Return to the designated route and smash through a variety of breakable objects blocking the tunnel, then destroy the AC ahead on the right and continue forward.
Defeat the next enemy mech ahead and enter the tunnel to the right of it, then boost to smash through the various obstacles in front of you.
Clear the AC from the next path ahead on the right. then follow this road forward out of the underwater tunnel and back up to the surface.
Destroy the enemies at the top of the next incline by hovering above them and shooting downward, then return to the designated route and follow it to cross the bridge ahead.
Approach the gap in the bridge ahead and aim the mech’s crosshairs towards the search tower in the distance, then stop at the edge of the chasm and open fire on the enemy drones that are now flying in your direction.
Fly across the gap to meet the enemies head-on with continuous fire until you can land on the ship below, then turn around to target the drones flying above and blow them out of the sky.
Jump onto the next section of the bridge ahead and boost forward through the barricades, then eliminate the surrounding ground enemies to activate a cut scene in which you encounter a New Weapon.
Follow the designated route to send the boss running, then drop off the freeway to land in the water below and take cover behind one of the many concrete columns nearby.
Wait for the New Weapon to descend in front of you, then begin weakening the enemy with missile strikes and automatic gunfire.
Dodge counter attacks by backing up into the network of concrete columns around you quickly sidestepping behind cover when necessary.
Maintain your evasive means of attacking the enemy until it disappears into retreat, then follow the designated route to flush the New Weapon out into the open again and continue the assault.
Draw the New Weapon into the water directly beneath the freeway so that the ceiling above will prevent him from making an aerial escape.
Continue wearing down the enemy and weaving through the maze of concrete columns until the New Weapon is finally destroyed, then enter scan mode to follow the new designated route and locate the garage for repairs.
Land on the next partially submerged onramp ahead and drive up it to reach the barricade at the top, then smash through this blockade and destroy the enemy waiting behind it.
Boost forward to vault across the collapsing section of bridge ahead and land on the other side, then continue along the designated route to encounter another New Weapon.
Use a missile strike to eliminate the threats positioned on the rooftop ahead to your left, then shift the mech’s crosshairs to the New Weapon flying above and begin opening fire on it.
Drop into the water and approach the search tower behind you, then begin moving in a circle around its base and boost whenever the New Weapon launches projectile assaults to evade danger.
Continue firing upon the New Weapon and evading attacks from above until the enemy is destroyed, then use scan mode to locate the designated route and return to the freeway.
Follow the road ahead to encounter multiple New Weapon enemies at once, then fly around behind the buildings that line the freeway on either side of you and use them as cover to safely launch long-distance attacks.
If your mech begins to suffer extensive damage, take refuge in the enclosed area located beneath the nearby section of freeway.
Move back and forth between the buildings to fire upon enemies that fly into your line of sight above the freeway, using missile strikes on ones huddled closely together to damage them in unison.
If any of the New Weapons boost in your direction or start teaming up against you, cross to the opposite side of the freeway and continue the assault from there.
Eliminate all remaining New Weapons from the area, then relocate the designated route to continue across the bridge towards the next objective.

Executive Sector
Launch your mech across the next gap in the bridge ahead and move forward into the city, then follow the designated route until a cut scene activates in which you encounter a wave of enemy ACs.
Keep your distance from AC blocking the freeway ahead and take him out with a missile strike, then continue forward and approach the bend in the road.
Look past the bend in the road to target the AC sitting on a rooftop in the distance, then boost off the freeway to fly in the enemy’s direction and take him out with your rockets.
Ascend into the surrounding rooftop area and clear out any remaining enemies while jumping from building to building, then drop back to street level and relocate the designated route to make your way down it.
Cross the leftmost bridge that leads to the next area and stop at the hallway point, then target the enemies slightly to your right and launch a missile strike against them.
Retreat back across the bridge and continue moving until the mech reaches the previous fork in the road, then keep your crosshairs trained on the path you just exited and open fire on the enemies as they appear from around the corner.
Ascend to the surrounding rooftops above and jump between them while firing down on the ACs that arrive, then finish clearing the area by staying on the move at all times and drop back to street level.
Follow the indicated route down the right fork in the road and continue forward across the next bridge ahead, then open fire on the drones that are suddenly flying above and shoot them out of the sky one-by-one while using the street corners as cover.
Continue following the designated path deeper into the city and take out the drones that fly above, then use scan mode to locate the garage ahead and use it to make repairs.
Afterwards, follow the indicated path around the next right corner and proceed to fight your way forward down the next street ahead.
Move back and forth across the width of the street to effectively dodge enemy counter fire as you launch multiple assaults of your own.
If the amount of enemy firepower becomes too much to take on at once, back up around the previous corner and wait for the flying drones to appears so that you can shoot them out of the sky one at a time.
Return to the designated route and make your way back down the street you were fighting along earlier, then continue using evasive movements, the jetpack and quick cover behind street corners to survive being overcome by the enemy’s massive presence in this area,
Clear the road and surrounding area of all remaining enemies to receive the newly designated route, then follow it to travel along beneath the nearby overpass and make the last available right ahead.
Cross the bridge to your left and take out the Support AC waiting on the other side, then continue forward to fight your way through a squad of ground enemies and travel beneath another overpass ahead.
Upon approaching the mounted guns located outside the overpass and ahead on your left, fly out over the water beside you to gain full movement for evasion tactics and open fire on the turrets below until both are destroyed.
Follow the designated route around behind the building and shoot down the approaching drones as you continue forward, then use the mech’s jetpack to land on the next bridge ahead and make a left across it.
Launch yourself across the gap in the bridge ahead and land on the other side to continue forward, then turn around and immediately begin opening fire on the enemies quickly approaching from the distance.
Continue forward along the freeway, using the mech’s boost and hover abilities to move past obstacles or enemies without having to slow down, then ascend onto the broken sections of freeway stacked together ahead.
Climb the incline ahead to reach the uppermost section of freeway and fend off the drones hovering around you in a circle, then relocate the designated route and follow it along the freeway for as long as you can.
Use the jetpack to lift off from the freeway and point yourself in the direction of the next objective, then boost to fly forward at high speeds above the submerged rubble and land on the bridge in the distance.
Make your way across the bridge and fly above the next gap in the pavement to continue forward, then land on the other side and boost towards the extraction point ahead to complete the mission.

MISSION 6
Marine Facility
Enter scan mode to locate the designated route and the red laser beams that enemies use to aim their weaponry, then boost through the tunnel ahead and follow the targeting beams to eliminate ACs at close range.
Pass sideways through the gaps you see along the tunnel’s center wall to sidestep oncoming danger or move around behind an enemy blocking the entrance to a particular path ahead.
Continue fighting forward and shifting between the two corridors ahead until you reach the home stretch, which is indicated by a long piece of road located within the confines of a single tunnel.
Eliminate the squadron of tanks ahead by launching missile strikes at them from safe distances, then continue in this way through the tunnel until you see the exit appear in the distance.
Boost down the remaining stretch of road ahead and follow it out of the tunnel to activate a cut scene in which you locate the Police Captain, then drive up the incline to reach the surface and continue forward.
Use the jetpack to launch yourself on top of the large concrete cylinders that line the left side of the road, then move forward across these tall containers and locate the enemies below by their red targeting lasers.
Fly back and forth across the cylindrical vats ahead to safely battle or evade the enemies in the surrounding area, then destroy the drones located on perches or rooftops by launching missile strikes and take out the ground units by dropping down beside them to attack at close-range.
Enter scan mode to locate the designated route and return to following it through the current facility area, then continue using airborne tactics to decimate your numerous opponents and make the last available right ahead to cross a long bridge.
Target and destroy the origin of the red targeting laser pointing in your direct, then open fire on the flying drones above as you continue forward across the bridge.
Use the jetpack to launch yourself onto the rooftops of the surrounding structures and eliminate any snipers by attacking at close-range.
Aim the mech’s crosshairs in the direction of the way you just came and shoot down any drones that are still chasing you, then drop back to the leftmost side of the street below and continue across the bridge.
Continue following the designated route ahead and shooting down the flying drones above, then boost forward whenever you see an enemy approach near ground and turn around to eliminate them from a safe distance.
Boost forward or backwards along the current road to continuously position yourself within optimal firing range and to avoid the chance of being swarmed by multiple enemies at once.
Destroy the AC at the end of the first wave of enemies by a series of missile strikes and executing close range attacks, then move forward between the two spotlight towers and enter the next area ahead.
Ascend away from danger, as soon as the first enemy appears, and open fire from an advantageous angle by landing on one of the structural surfaces above or by hovering in place for as long as possible.
Continue following the designated route by jumping across the tops of the structures that run along side, then destroy the enemies you see below to eventually hover and land on the next bridge ahead.
Cross to the other side of the bridge, then immediately use the jetpack to ascend straight up into the air and away from the next AC that approaches from ahead.
Point the mech’s crosshairs straight downward and open fire on the AC as you hover above him at a safe distance, then wait for the enemy to launch a counter attack before retreating back towards the previous bridge.
Drop into the water beside the bridge and wait for the AC to appear from above, then pop out into the open and hit the AC above with a powerful assault before using the jetpack to escape again.
Enter the maze of city of streets located beside the previous pair of spotlight towers and use the sharp turns as cover during the battle with the AC until the enemy is destroyed.
Cross back over the previous bridge and look left to see your mech teammate fly by going in the opposite direction, then ascend into the air and chase after him to relocate the designated route.
Follow your teammate on a short flight across the ocean to discover the next objective’s path and land with the other mech on the wide concrete surface ahead, then begin destroying the surrounding enemies until a cut scene activates in which you prepare to battle the Police Captain.

City Police Captain and Chief
Enter scan mode to find the route leading to the Police Captain’s current location and activate the mech’s jetpack to ascend into the air.
While flying over the ocean and through the city streets ahead, hold down the boost trigger to approach the indicated target at both a high speed and high altitude.
Ascend above the city rooftops to locate the area below in which the designated route comes to an end, then continue forward to fly past it and approach the bridge area ahead.
Once you have a visual on the Police Captain currently crossing the bridge below, hover almost directly above the enemy mech and begin opening fire with various weaponry.
When the Police Captain’s mech has almost reached the other side of the bridge, drop back to the pavement below and land directly behind the enemy to deploy powerful close-range strikes.
Chase the Police Captain’s mech back along the designated route and fire upon him relentlessly until a cut scene activates in which the Police Chief now arrives on the scene to cause trouble.
Follow your teammate along the newly designate path ahead and use the jetpack to ascend into the air before boosting forward across the water.
Continue along the indicated route behind the other mech to reach an obstacle course comprised of marine facility platforms and the exploding vats that sit on top of them.
Navigate through the course in front of you by keeping an eye on the vats blocking the path ahead and waiting for the explosive ones to begin blinking, then boost forward to pass it by before the blast can occur.
Repeat the aforementioned evasive tactic to safely steer through the field of marine platforms and exploding vats until you can land on the oil tanker at the end to complete the mission.

MISSION 7
Tower Explosives
Once the mech is active, enter scan mode to locate the designated route and move forward to begin following it towards the bend in the road ahead.
Use the mech’s jetpack to ascend past the next turn in front of you and land on the rooftops above, then move right alongside the indicated path below and take out the sniper perched on the ledge ahead.
Launch yourself across the wide gap between the rooftops ahead and continue firing upon the surrounding enemies until a cut scene activates in which you discover the explosives by the tower.
Shoot down the enemy drones circling above you by discharging a continuous spray of automatic gunfire, then ascend onto the rooftops or sections offreeway above and target the origins of the red laser beams to pick off snipers.
Transfer continuously between the freeway and rooftops as you move across this area to approach the sources of the red targeting lasers without taking damage.
When you make visual contact with a sniper drone, either launch missiles down upon it from an elevated location or drop in right beside the enemy and unload automatic gunfire into him at point blank range.
As you move across this area and eliminate any remaining snipers, keep a fair distance from the tower’s explosives area while passing by to avoid being fired upon by countless turret guns.
Make your way around the rooftops surrounding the freeway below, follow each of the red laser beams back to its source and destroy the snipers until there are none left in this area.
Drop down to street level and follow the designated route towards the tower’s explosives, then begin mowing through the enemy mechs patrolling this area until your teammates arrive.
Approach the area directly surrounding or facing the tower explosives and ascend to the rooftops above to clear out any snipers posted nearby.
Drop back to street level and search the building exteriors surrounding the explosives for small concrete ledge, then ascend to eye level of the enemies perched on these surfaces and destroy them with missile strikes.
Continue clearing the area around the tower until your teammates are able to detonate the explosives, then enter scan mode to relocate the designated route and fly towards the next objective within the city.
Hover along the indicated path between the buildings to land on the railroad tracks below, then boost forward through the train tunnel in front of you.
Stay in the leftmost lane to avoid the explosives blocking the track ahead and continue boosting forward to activate a cut scene in which the Giant Weapon is activated.

Father’s Tower
Fight your way the next corridor ahead on the left and follow the other mech forward to navigate the enclosed tunnel, then boost across the last straightaway to exit into the city above and turn left at the top.
Approach the next street entrance ahead and use the mech’s jetpack to ascend, then land on the roof of the building to the left and fend off the incoming projectile assault.
Continue ahead by launching off the rooftop and flying towards the Giant Weapon located a short distance away, then approach the mechanical leg currently firing the orange laser and boost in at close range to destroy it quickly.
Drop back to street level and take cover from the enemy’s follow-up projectile attack by hiding beneath the overpass, then move back out into the open and use the mech’s jetpack to ascend.
Fly to the right around the outside of Giant Weapon and boost into the next mechanical leg equipped with the orange laser, then destroy the weaponized appendage at close range and wait for your teammate to finish the job.
Once all of the immediate threats have been eliminated, follow the newly designated route through the surrounding city streets and employ scan mode to locate the nearest garage for repair purposes.
Re-locate the intended path and boost along it at street level to reach the next concrete ramp ahead, then drive up the incline to reach the freeway area above and continue forward.
Shift into the leftmost lane and launch missile strikes against enemies in the distance as you continue forward towards the city square ahead.
Use the mech’s jetpack to ascend into the air, then fly forward to hover above the area that surrounds the city square lined with red banners below.
Land on one of the nearby rooftops or hover in place for a brief moment so that you can accurately launch missiles into the enemies guarding the square below.
Continue moving between various points across the area overlooking the city square and take a moment at each one to help clear out the remaining threats below with rocket attacks.
Once your teammates radio in with the news that they have entered to tower, descend back to street level and approach the gate lined with red banners to eliminate any drones standing in front of it.
Face the banners and boost to the right , then launch missiles into the AC in the distance and finish him off with automatic gunfire as you approach at close range.
Return to the square and fight off the enemies that run head-on towards the wall lined with red banners until a cut scene activates in which a menacing AC lands nearby and you are charged with destroying it.
Stand a few feet in front of the gate lined with red banners and put your back to it, then begin sweeping the mech’s crosshairs back and forth across the various access points in front of you.
Use automatic gunfire to hold off the enemies that rush towards you within close range and launch missile strikes against the larger AC drones before they get close enough to cause significant damage.
Execute the above tactics to quickly eliminate all enemy variations that approach, before they manage to reach the gate and begin pounding on it.
Destroy the remaining ACs to your left and right, then continue preventing enemies from reaching the tower’s entrance gate until the mission is complete.
