Starhawk Walkthrough
Emmet Graves needs your help, he wants to explore the wild frontiers of space in Starhawk — and our full walkthrough will help you survive. Space is a dangerous place, mostly due to something called “Rift Energy” which is a valuable but deadly commodity. One day, Emmet is enjoying a leisurely day of mining, the next he’s partially exploded thanks to a mutant Outcast attack and infected with rift radiation. A hop and a skip later, and Emmet is a hired gun trying to control his mutations. I’m sure we can all share that problem.

HOMECOMING
Follow the on-screen instructions to move forward and approach the Sidewinder in front of you, then jump into the driver’s seat and hit the gas to follow your partner along the dirt trail ahead.
Continue following your partner along the twisting dirt road until he comes to a stop outside of the next small town, then dismount from the Sidewinder and proceed on foot.
Take cover with your partner behind the large boulder ahead and aim towards the roof of the building on the left, then zoom in with the currently-equipped weapon and take out the threat firing upon you from a distance.
Sprint to the front of the building and pick up the ammo supplies, then climb the ladder on the left side of the structure and pick up a new weapon from the fallen enemy.
Drop back to the ground and return to the Sidewinder’s driver seat, then head towards the diamond-shaped icon on your map until you reach the next work site.
Dismount next to the abandoned Sidewinder that’s been left in the middle of the dirt road and take cover behind the boulder formation beside you.
Eliminate the ground enemy in front of the building in the distance to your left and the one perched on the same structure’s burning rooftop above, then move forward to rejoin with your partner and help him in continuing to clear out any remaining threats in the area.
Return to the Sidewinder and drive it forward along the previously-used dirt road, then continue in the direction of the next objective indicated on your map until there is a massive blue explosion in front of you.
Enter Mining Site 17 and take cover next to your partner behind the first building you come across, then climb the yellow ladder nearby to reach the rooftop above and crouch down to avoid taking damage.
Approach the top right corner of the rooftop and use the provided cover to safely locate each source of enemy gunfire below that’s being directed at your partner.
Utilize your weapon’s scope capabilities to scan the area for pulses of opposing blue light and clear out each enemy that’s hiding behind cover in the distance below by using gunfire or throwing any currently-equipped grenades.
Wait for your troops to advance across the field below, then aim towards the enemies that are now firing from the rightmost building ahead and shoot the red barrels behind them to cause an explosion.
Drop back to the ground and rejoin your team in the battle ahead, while picking up ammo along the way, then help clear out the remaining enemies that occupy the last building and move towards it to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, follow the on-screen instructions to enter the Build Menu and choose the Rift Extractor at the top to repair the rig in front of you.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Ready Up (Bronze):
Use Build & Battle for the first time in the campaign.
Once the Extractor has been repaired, approach the barrels that were dropped in front of you and destroy them to collect Rift Energy for future building projects.
Turn around and approach the ruins to the right of the Rift Extractor, then enter the Build Menu and drop a supply bunker right on top of the crumbling foundation.
Climb on top of the Supply Bunker you just built and drop through the opening in the rooftop to reach the inside, then collect the nearby rocket launcher and equip it.
Return to the rooftop above and crouch down to take cover, then aim towards the wave of approaching enemies in the distance below and being clearing them out before they can do damage to the rig.
Keep the majority of your fire trained on enemies that are not currently being attacked by teammates or the ones that have managed to breach the non-existent outer wall.
After a cut scene is activated in which you are warned of an approaching breed of creature known as Scrappers, grab more ammo from within the the bunker and drop back to the ground.
Move towards the area that the previous wave of enemies approached from and stop in front of the indicated construction site, then enter the Build Menu and choose the “Wall” option.
Build as many walls as you can across the openings in the mining site’s defenses and upgrade them into “Gates” by approaching the indicated monitors, then take your position back on top of the supply bunker and begin eliminating the Scrappers as they come.
Clear the area of Scrappers and enter the Build Menu, then begin selecting auto turrets to place one in front of the outer walls you’ve built and one in front of the supply bunker.
Take your position on top of the supply bunker and replace the auto turrets whenever they are destroyed while assisting in the elimination of the next wave of enemies.
Clear out the final wave of enemies to activate a cut scene and approach the road previously used by the Scrappers to attack your mining site, then enter the Build Menu and select the “Corral” option.
Build a Corral on the dirt road that leads to the Fueling Depot and jump into the driver’s seat of the Sidewinder that appears, then drive forward and follow the trail until you are attacked by an enemy perched on a high rock formation.
Dismount from your vehicle and take out the enemy firing upon you from above, then continue along the trail using the Sidewinder and stop to kill additional opponents along the way.
Cross the covered bridge and approach the Fuel Depot on your right until the building explodes in a massive fireball, then continue towards the burning structure and dismount just outside the perimeter.
Build a supply depot outside of enemy fire and gather additional ammo, then climb onto its rooftop and erect a couple of auto turrets in front of the opponents ahead.
Take out the enemies from the supply depot’s rooftop by firing rockets at the larger groups, then finish clearing the area to activate a cut scene and return to the Sidewinder.
Drive the Sidewinder off the edge of the nearby cliff to land at the bottom of the canyon below and return to Mining Site 17, then dismount from the vehicle and enter a supply depot to arm yourself with rockets before the Hawks arrive.
After the Hawks begin attacking the mining site, aim your rocket launcher into the air and follow the onscreen instructions to lock onto the enemy planes with heat-seeking missiles.
If you are having trouble trouble tracking the Hawks above, follow the path of their jet-streams or run out to a further distance to get a clearer perspective on them.
Use heat-seeking missiles to blow the Hawks out of the air and continuously run back and forth between cover to avoid being killed, then return to the supply depot to refill your ammo and eliminate the remaining enemies to complete this level.

THE FREIGHTWAY
Jump into the cockpit of the Hawk in front of you and walk forward through the door that opens to enter flight, then follow the on-screen instructions to steer between the trail of red lights ahead.
Navigate your Hawk through the turns of the Red Lane, then follow the on-screen instructions to execute an Afterburner boost and a Braking maneuver.
Continue steering through the red lane until you can hover above the next platform to your left, then press the indicated button to land on the surface below and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, re-enter flight and make your way towards the next platform ahead to land on the indicated surface area.
Following the second cut scene, enter flight and boost towards the Scab Hawk circling the area in the distance.
An enemy Hawk’s position will be indicated on your screen as a transparent circle or as an arrow symbol if the opponent is located off-screen.
Move in close behind the Scab Hawk and keep the crosshair trained on the enemy jet until the sights go into auto-lock, then discharge short burst of machine-gun fire to destroy the opponent without overheating your weapon.
Boost towards the symbol that appears on-screen to reach the Asteroid Cluster and encounter two more Scab Hawks, then fly towards both enemies head-on and press the indicated button to release flares so that their missiles don’t damage your vessel.
Follow the on-screen instructions to learn the Powerslide and Evasive Dodge maneuvers, then use these tactics paired with boosting to navigate around the two Scab Hawks and destroy them.
Try to stay behind the two enemy vessels at all time to avoid being fired on from off-screen and use the Powerslide maneuver to continue pursuit if the Scab Hawks mange to fly past you in the opposite direction.
Evade incoming missiles by dodging to the left or right just before the rockets make contact and continue wearing the Scab Hawks down with machine-gun fire until they are both destroyed.
Boost towards the next symbol that appears on-screen to investigate the Mining Platform and activate a cut scene, then pick up Swarm Laser ammo by approaching the supply cache ahead on the left and flying through the indicated marker.
When the next two Scab Hawks arrive on the scene, get one of them in your sights and hold down the indicated buttons to lock on with the Swarm Lasers.
Continue holding down the Swarm Lasers button and track the enemy with your crosshairs for as long as possible to increase the number of projectiles you will fire upon him at once.
You can lock onto multiple enemy vessels at once with Swarm Lasers and fire them from a greater distance as well.
Release the trigger to fire however many lasers you were able to lock on with, then continue this style of attack while using the evasive maneuvers learned earlier to eventually eliminate both Scab Hawks.
Fly through the purple symbol from earlier to reload the Swarm Lasers and fly through the red symbol nearby it to repair your Hawk’s armor.
When the next wave of enemies arrives, use a combination of machine-gun fire and Swarm Lasers to destroy the four Scab Hawks as quickly as possible.
Use boosts and evasive dodges to stay out of danger when surrounded or surrounded by multiple enemies at once, then begin picking them off one by one with Swarm Laser attacks until the area is clear to complete the level.

HARVEST SEASON
Make effective use of your Swarm Laser weaponry to eliminate packs of multiple enemies at once and utilize dodge maneuvers, powerslides or afterburner boosts to evade taking damage.
Throughout the dogfight, you can find swarm laser ammo to the right of the Rift Generator (the continuous jet of green flame attached to the main vessel) and you can find armor repair all around the main vessel or beneath the various other ships flying above it.
Clear the area of all remaining Scab Hawks and land on the indicated platform, then use the vehicle’s machine-guns and stomping ability to eliminate the wave of surrounding enemies.
Dismount from your Hawk and approach the door indicated by the diamond-shaped map marker to activate a cut scene, then return to the previous cargo deck area and open the Build Menu.
Place auto turrets at three opposite sides of the cargo deck and build two walls in front of the ramps that lead to the door you’re opening.
Enter the depot to refill your ammo and jump back into the Hawk’s cockpit before the next wave of enemies arrives, then begin clearing the area with a combination of machine-gun fire and shockwave stomps.
Stay around the middle of the cargo deck to stomp out enemies that arrive in this area and use machine-gun fire to eliminate Scabs that appear on the upper decks to your right or left.
Finish clearing the cargo deck before your Hawk catches fire or finish the job on foot from behind one of the walls you built, then return to the previous door and enter the station.
Make your way over to the control panel ahead on the left and press the indicated button to cycle the airlock, then climb the series of ramps in front of you to eventually reach a control room at the top.
Approach the console at the back of the room to utilize the defense system and activate a cut scene, then make your way back down the previous ramp and turn left.
Eliminate the enemies waiting behind the door that suddenly opens and move forward through this new corridor, then approach the console ahead on the right to cycle the airlock and exit the station.
Take out the enemies waiting for you outside and move towards the path that leads around on the right, then begin building auto-turrets beside the groups of enemies ahead to eliminate them quickly and continue forward.
Jump off the ledge on your left to land on the level below and head down the next ramp in front of you, then place a series of auto turrets across the Rift Deck to clear the area of enemies and approach the enormous jet green flame.
Build a Rift Extractor over the indicated area to activate a cut scene, then face the open deck area that the Scabs will soon be approaching from and place a turret in front of each entry point marked by a red symbol.
Place a supply depot in front of the rift signal and defend it with a pair of walls, then refill on ammo and stand with your back to the depot.
Climb the tall yellow ladder to your left and wait for the waves of Scab enemies to arrive, then pick off the ones that appear on the upper platform beside you and allow the turrets to do the rest of the work below.
You can find Rift Barrels on the lowest deck directly across from the Rift Signal and on the next highest deck beside the yellow ladder you just climbed.
Use scoped rifle shots to eliminate enemies within your range and replace auto-turrets whenever one of them is destroyed, then continue clearing the area until you the see the symbol appear for an incoming Scab Hawk.
Drop down onto the next highest deck below you and approach the Scab Hawk symbol, then build as many auto turrets as you can around it before the enemy vessel arrives.
Use your rocket launcher to help the auto turrets in destroying the Scab Hawk and activate a cut scene, then enter the Build Menu to construct a Launch Pad and enter a Hawk of your own.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Man vs. Machine (Bronze): Defeat the mech in “Harvest Season”.
Enter flight and fend off the Scab Hawks with your laser swarm weaponry until another cut scene activates, then approach the supply train and fly towards the car that has just opened its doors.
Fly through the yellow symbol within the newly-opened boxcar to acquire Homing Missiles, then boost back into the fight and begin tailing your first target.
Select the Homing Missiles as your primary weapon and hold down the trigger, then target a Scab Hawk in the near distance and hold the crosshairs over the enemy vessel until the red triangular sights can lock on completely.
Release the trigger to fire a Homing Missile and destroy the target, then continue using this weapon in combination with machine-gun fire and swarm lasers.
Stay within close vicinity to the long supply train now floating above the rift signal and fly through one of its open boxcars whenever you run out of Homing Missiles or your Hawk’s armor is severely damaged.
Try to target the Scab Hawks that have become separated from the rest of their squadron and fire upon them whether you are in pursuit or attacking head-on.
Clear the area of all remaining enemies to complete this mission.

THE PIPELINE
Press the indicated button to exit the escape pod and turn around, then slide down the ladder and begin moving up the trail in front of you.
Follow the trailer around to find your team and make a right beneath the bridge, then begin firing on the enemies in the distance and wait for the next cut scene to activate.
Afterwards, take cover beneath the bridge to evade the sniper lasers and open your build men to construct a Watchtower nearby.
Climb into the nest of the watchtower and pick up the Rail Gun, then duck into cover and take out the snipers below one-by-one by zooming in with the rifle’s scope.
Continue clearing the area below with your sniper rifle or grenades and occasionally duck back behind cover to reload or evade oncoming gunfire, then wait until the next cut scene passes and slide down the nearby ladder to return to the ground.
Head towards the objective indicated by the map marker in the distance and take cover along the way to take out snipers on the surrounding cliffs above, then approach the facility at the top of the hill and climb the steps on your right.
When you reach the next level above, head to the far left side of the platform and climb the next set of steps to your right.
Climb the ladder directly to your left, then approach the on-screen icon to use the control panel and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, make your way down to the Rift Processor and open the build menu to begin constructing defenses around the device.
Grab rift energy from the barrels on either side of the platform, then build a series of auto -turrets on the dirt road in front of the rift processor and construct a watchtower behind it.
Climb into the watchtower and reload your rail gun, then aim towards the red skull icon on the road below and wait for the enemies to begin appearing.
Clear out the enemies below with your sniper rifle and replace auto-turrets whenever they are destroyed, then build a supply bunker if you want to finish the job with a rocket launcher assault.
Make your way to the side of the platform marked with the next red icon and build another series of auto-turrets in front of the indicated launch pad, then stand near the mechanized guns and assist in eliminating the second wave of enemies to activate a cut scene.
Approach the rift processor and add a few more auto-turrets to the dirt road below, then use your rail gun and grenades to continuously wear down the new larger enemy until he is defeated.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: The Harder They Fall (Bronze): Defeat the Apex Warrior in “The Pipeline”.
After the cut scene, enter the build menu to construct a Launch Pad and use the Hawk mech to begin the air battle.
Boost straight up into the air to get clear of the initial firefight you enter, then turn around to survey the battle scenario and begin navigating through the facility below to collect weapons for your Hawk.
Chase down and destroy the Scab Hawks attacking the indicated junctions by using a combination of all your weaponry, then weave through the openings in the facilities structure if you need to escape from danger.
Boost towards the junction markers that glow red first to protect the ones currently under attack before they are destroyed and use machine-gun fire to wear down opponents nil you can finish them off with more powerful weaponry.
Try to refill your swarm lasers, armor repair and homing missiles as often as possible to defeat the Scab Hawks with higher proficiency.
To keep a consistent watch on the integrity of the junctions you’re meant to protect, boost in a continuous circle around the edge of the facility below and open fire on enemies when necessary.
After the cut scene, fill your arsenal with Cluster Bombs and approach the next set of red icons that have appeared on the facility below.
Fly in low above the indicated platforms and hit the groups of enemies with a cluster bomb attack before veering back up into the air, then continue around to the next area marked nearby.
Move between the areas being invaded by the enemy armies and clear them away one-by-one with cluster bomb strikes by approaching from a distance to get a clear shot on the target.
After the next cut scene, boost away from the facility below to draw Scab Hawks into the open surrounding swamp area and power slide twice to turn around for the kill.
Finish clearing the skies of Scab Hawks, then land on the indicated platform below to assist the rifters by stomping out and shooting up the surrounding enemy forces.
After the next cut scene, enter the build menu and construct a series of auto-turrets in a circle around the orange landing symbol on the level below.
Re-enter your Hawk and have it repaired if necessary, then wait for the next wave of enemies to appear and assist the auto-turrets in wiping them out by firing cluster bombs.
Target the larger creatures that appear first and land nearby to execute stomping attacks if necessary, then return to the air and continuing clearing out the enemy forces below to activate another cut scene.
Afterwards, land on the orange symbol currently under attack and indicated by a transparent dome of white light.
Clear away the surrounding enemies, then enter the build menu to construct a shield generator over the indicated symbol and continue surveying the onslaught until the mission is complete.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: The Pipeline (Bronze): Complete mission 4: “The Pipeline”.

BALLARD’S CROSSING
Press the indicated button to exit the escape pod and immediately begin opening fire on the enemies guarding the nearby rift generator, then rush towards the structure on foot and continue to clear away the surrounding threats.
Stay on the run, while making effective use of melee strikes and headshots to efficiently eliminate the enemy forces swarming around the drop zone.
After the area has been cleared, enter the build menu to construct a rig on top of the rift energy and activate a cut scene in which you learn about other generators under enemy control
Use the build menu to construct a Garage, a few Outposts and a supply bunker, then refill your ammo in the bunker and jump into the driver’s seat of an available Razorback vehicle.
Press the indicated button to honk the Razorback’s horn and call over two teammates to join you in the vehicle, then drive across the desert landscape towards the red icons indicated on your map.
Just before reaching one of the enemy rigs, switch places with the teammate manning the Razorback’s rear turret and allow the new driver to continue taking you towards the battle.
As your teammate drives in a circle around the rig, use the turret to clear away enemies guarding the area and to continuously weaken the rift structure until it explodes.
If there are few enemies remaining or if your teammate is driving too fast to make accurate shots, jump out of the Razorback and finish the job on foot at close-range.
There will be proximity explosive located near each rig that can be thrown and attached to the side of the structure, then shoot these mines to detonate them and assist in the overall demolition process.
Once the rig is destroyed and enemies in the area have been exterminated, use the build menu to drop a Rift Extractor on the broken structure and return to your Razorback’s turret seat.
As your teammate drives up to the next enemy rift facility, jump out of the vehicle and begin moving towards the first sniper tower that surrounds the area.
Use the MAW weapon to destroy each of the sniper towers that encircle the rig and return to your Razorback, then honk the horn to call teammates over and shift back into the turret position.
Spray continuous fire into the crowd of enemies covering the area and the rig they built to protect the rift energy, then jump out of the Razorback and enter the build menu.
Build a rift extractor on top of the rig you just destroyed to activate a cut scene, then jump back into the driver’s seat of your Razorback and navigate it towards the onscreen red car icon that’s currently counting down.
Construct a series of auto-turrets in a circle around the nearby rig you’re mean to protect and build an outpost as well for additional men, then jump into the turret of your Razorback and wait for the enemies to arrive.
Take out the creature manning enemy Razorback’s turret first, then finish off the entire vehicle with continuous sprays of gunfire or a well-placed grenade or missile.
You can also build walls across the dirt roads leading into the area that surrounds the rig and place turrets on top of them for additional protection.
Continuously replace your army and defensive structures until the waves of attack cease to activate a cut scene, then drive across the desert in the direction of the onscreen diamond-shaped icon and navigate through the narrow canyon.
Drive at full speed through the enemy-infested canyon, without stopping, to reach the Lifter as quickly as possible without taking too much damage.
For the sake of ease and acquiring rift energy, you can eliminate large crowds of enemies on foot by simply running them over with the Razorback.
Upon reaching the Lifter, take cover behind a nearby wall of debris and use your rifle to begin clearing the area of enemies.
Build an outpost and a series of auto-turrets to help you fight off the remaining enemy forces, then construct a few walls and asupply bunker in front of the Lifter to provide additional protection.
Use a MAW, at close-range, to help you destroy the indicated gate standing directly across from the lifter’s position.
Retreat back to the lifter and blow up the first wave of enemies that begins to pour through the opening in the destroyed gate, then continue fending off the approaching army until another cut scene activates.
Afterwards, build walls in front of the indicated entry points that the enemy Razorback will soon be arriving by and protect them with auto-turrets.
Take shelter on top of a wall or within the supply bunker, then use your MAW to begin clearing out the enemies and their vehicles so that the lifter remains intact.
Use a strategy that combines wall defenses, rocket launcher strikes and auto-turret placement to keep the next two enemy waves at bay, then continue protecting the lifter from destruction until a cut scene activates in which Scab Hawks arrive.
Refill your MAW’s ammo at the supply bunker and climb onto the building’s roof, then eliminate the Scab Hawks and various other enemy forces that approach to complete this mission.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Ballard’s Crossin (Bronze): Complete mission 5: “Ballard’s Crossing”.

TRAIN ROBBERY
Press the indicated button to exit the escape pod and head up the ramp directly in front of you, then move slightly to the left across the platform at the top and take out enemies along the way.
Make your way towards the sign that says “Service Platform” and approach the two sets of steps, then take out the enemies below you by first taking cover behind the pillar at the top of the stairs and building an outpost or some auto-turrets nearby.
Eliminate the remaining enemies with your team and move down the steps towards the indicated platform, then climb the series of ramps ahead until a cut scene activates.
Afterwards, land on the lowest platform ahead of you to collect rift energy from the nearby barrels and build a Vulture Station.
Build a supply bunker and collect MAW ammo from within, then follow the on-screen instructions to lift off the ground with the vulture and fly towards the nearest indicated turret.
As you descend towards the base of the first turret, fire rockets directly into the cannon and destroy it by zooming in with the scope first.
Be sure to run to the edge of the platform you’re on before lifting off with the vulture and only fire the boosters for as long as necessary to rise and descend beside the target without running out of fuel.
Fly or sprint over to the next nearest turret and destroy it as well, then rise or descend to a level of the structure in which another target is located.
Use the red icons on your map to locate and destroy the Flak Turrets with the MAW until its rockets are depleted, then toss grenades or switch over to the rifle and wear down each of the cannons with long bursts of gunfire until they explode.
When rising to a platform above you with the vulture, try to land on other platforms or surfaces along the way to ensure that the jetpack’s fuel never runs out.
The best strategy for eliminating the flak turrets is by starting on the lowest level and making your way up to the top of the structure until there are none left.
If you should run into enemies also strapped with Vultures along the way, try to get them to land nearby and then take them out with a knife strike.
Destroy all remaining Flak Turrets to activate a cut scene, then clear the area around you of vulture enemies and enter the build menu to construct a Launch Pad.
Jump into the cockpit of the Hawk that is now available and enter flight, then boost straight up into the air and turn around to get a safe perspective on the enemies below.
Boost towards the train cars that are under attack and target the Outcast dropships with your swarm lasers, then wait until you are within close range and open fire to cause extensive damage.
Circle back around towards the train car and fly through its center to collect additional weaponry, then switch over to homing missiles and use them to destroy the Outcast dropships.
Ignore the Scab Hawks deployed around you and wear down the dropships with special weapons or machine gun fire until they are all destroyed, then refill your ammo and begin targeting the enemy planes.
Use evasive maneuvers, weapons with lock-on targeting and health items to survive the ensuing dogfight, then eliminate the remaining Scab Hawks to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, fly towards the red onscreen symbol with a countdown beneath it and land on the indicated platform before opening your build menu.
Collect rift energy from the nearby barrels and construct two Beam Turrets near the center of the elongated surface, then repeat this process on the platform located at the opposite side of the cargo car.
Enter flight ro refill your Hawk’s ammo, specifically with cluster bombs and homing missiles.
Wait for the enemies to begin arriving and attack the dropships with your homing missiles, then circle back around and take out the ground forces with low-flying cluster bomb assaults.
After the dropships have been destroyed, land on the platform invaded by ground enemies and use your Hawk to eradicate them with stomping shockwave attacks.
Re-enter flight and repair your Hawk just as the Scabs begin to arrive, then assist the beam turrets planted earlier in clearing them from the sky.
When the third countdown begins, land on the platforms surrounding your cargo to begin building a series of auto-turrets and then re-enter flight to continue fighting off the Scab Hawks.
Clear out the remaining Scab Hawks to activate a cut scene, then land on the platform marked with multiple red icons to begin building auto turrets and beam turrets.
Repeat this process on the other platform in front of the exposed cargo and use one of the nearby mechanical arms to repair your Hawk, then stay on the platform to wait for the dropships to arrive.
Target the dropships with swarm lasers and machine gun fire to destroy the enemy vessels, then re-enter flight and use homing missiles to finish off the dropships on the other side.
Land amongst the enemy ground units to stomp them out with your Hawk’s sonic wave or to build additional auto-turrets, then repair the mech as often as possible and continue to destroy the invading forces.
Allow your beam turrets to fend off the wave of Scab Hawks that arrive next and use your own mech to eliminate the larger warrior creatures that appear as well.
Prevent the cargo from being destroyed until another cut scene activates, then use evasive tactics to survive the legion of Scab Hawks swarming around you.
Continue fighting off and escaping from the surrounding enemies until a diamond-shaped icon appears onscreen, then use your afterburners to boost towards it and activate a cut scene before the timer runs out to complete the mission.

THE PIT
Press the indicated button to exit the drop pod and make your way forward up the road to approach the structures in the distance, then take cover behind one of the buildings or a rock formation and eliminate the enemies ahead.
Use your rifle to clear out every enemy guarding the Outpost base and search the area to refill weaponry, then jump into the driver’s of a nearby Razorback and enter the build menu.
Build an Outpost to acquire more teammates, then honk the horn to call them over and wait for others to begin manning Razorbacks of their own.
Drive up onto the bridge ahead and follow the road around towards the next objective, then increase your speed upon reaching gaps in trail to jump across to the other side.
Follow the bridge and increase your speed to ramp between the various sections of it , then slow down so that your teammate manning the turret can eliminate the sniper above on the left.
Continue forward to pass through an archway and activate a cut scene, then drive up the ramp ahead to move into the Outcast Base and navigate across length of the facility so that your turret man can eliminate all enemies efficiently.
Run over the groups of smaller enemies with your Razorback for quicker kills and come to a stop near the larger creatures so that the teammate manning the turret can wear him down more effectively.
Return to first platform you drove through in the base and approach the nearby gate, then use proximity mines to knock it down and enter the build menu.
Use the nearby barrels to refill on rift energy, then construct an outpost and a launchpad before entering flight using a Hawk mech.
Fly towards the next group of enemies ahead and fly through the surrounding icons to acquire additional weaponry, then take out the Scabs below with the help of teammates and refill your Hawk’s armor every so often.
You can also land the Hawk near ground enemies and approach them at close range, then execute a shockwave stomp or mow them down with machine gunfire.
Clear the Outcast Base of all remaining enemies and make your way over towards the onscreen diamond-shaped indicator to investigate the hatch, then enter the build menu to begin surrounding your position with beam and auto-turrets.
Place auto turrets near the areas marked with red symbols and countdown timers, then build an outpost to reinforce your army and use the Hawk to enter the skies.
After the cut scene, use the Hawk to fly in low and shoot down the enemies using Vultures or land beside them and execute shockwave stomps combined with machine gun fire.
Refill your armor as much as necessary and replace beam or auto-turrets regularly, then continue eradicating the enemy forces to survive the ambush and enter the build menu.
Approach the previous hatch and build a Rift Bomb on top of the indicated area to activate a cut scene, then approach the entry points marked with red icons and build auto-turrets to face in their direction.
Construct beam turrets around the rift bomb and place an outpost nearby to rebuild your forces, then enter the sky to repair the Hawk’s armor and wait for the enemies to arrive.
Re-supply the Hawk’s additional weaponry and use it to take down the Scabs that appear on the scene first, then continue clearing out the enemy air fleet in unison with the beam turrets until a countdown timer signifies the arrival of ground forces below.
Repair the armor on your Hawk and land near the red icon with a timer below it, then build auto-turrets near the marker and the rift bomb before constructing another outpost as well.
Return to the skies in your Hawk and continue shooting down the Scabs or approach the ground forces and stomp them out.
Continue fighting off the invading forces until the shield icon with a timer appears on-onscreen, then protect the bomb until the clock runs out and the rift finally explodes.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Making An Entrance (Bronze): Detonate the rift bomb in “The Pit”.
Approach the blast site on foot and walk up to the exposed hatch to activate a cut scene, then use the map to locate ammo supplies around the room you’re now in before exiting it.
Make your way forward across the room until another checkpoint activates, then approach the rift energy that has now appeared and use grenades or knife barracks to slash through the crowd of enemies.
Finish clearing the area of enemies to have Jonas’ cell appear as an on-screen indicator, then approach the barred door to open it and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, runs towards the indicated ladder to climb up it and use your shotgun to clear out the enemies that attack you at the top.
Climb the next two ladders ahead and use your knife to slash through the enemies waiting at top, then sprint forward with Jonas to reach the Vulture station and put on a jetpack to begin the final escape from the Pit.
Ascend as high as you can before the Vulture’s fuel runs out and follow closely behind Jonas’ position, then land on one of the nearest elevated platforms and take out any surrounding enemies by zooming in with the rifle or railgun.
Continue following Jonas each time he ascends to the next level above and take out surrounding enemies every while you refuel the jet pack, then rise up towards the circular opening in the roof of the Pit to activate a cut scene and complete the mission.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: The Pit (Bronze): Complete mission 7: “The Pit”.

ASHES
Take out the enemies ahead by using your rifle to score head-shots, then move forward towards the on-screen diamond icon and continue taking out threats blocking the path in front of you.
Enter the compound and take cover behind some nearby wreckage to clear the area of surrounding enemies, then continue towards the next Search icon ahead and make your way downhill to reach the burning compound below.
Make your way forward along the road at the bottom of the steep hill until the enemies drop down in front of you, then take cover and clear the area using the rifle to score head-shots.
Continue moving up the road ahead to reach the next compound and build an Outpost to replenish your racks, then approach the building marked with a diamond icon ahead and take out the enemies on the left using the rifle or grenades to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, make your way forward through the rubble in the direction of the diamond icon ahead and use the debris as cover to take out the enemies ahead with the rifle.
Shoot the rift barrels on either side of the Saloon and enter the build menu, then begin constructing auto-turrets and another Outpost nearby to protect the structure from additional enemy fire.
Clear the area to activate a cut scene, then begin moving towards the next diamond icon on your right and take out the enemies ahead with head-shots.
Build a few auto-turrets in front of the indicated building on your left to continue fighting off the invading enemies, then climb the stairs on the right side of the structure to reach the roof and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, take cover behind the barricade on your left and enter the build menu to construct a Beam Turret in front of you.
Wait for the beam turret to destroy the Ox tank and activate a cut scene, then make your way over to the next onscreen diamond icon and use the rifle to clear out enemies blocking the road ahead.
Build a watchtower in front of the store and climb up into its nest, then use the railgun to snipe the remaining enemies below and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, shoot the nearby rift barrels to build an outpost, a supply bunker and a variety of turrets in front of the store.
Build walls in front of the three roads marked with enemy icons and add a beam turret in front of the one expecting a tank to arrive, then enter the supply bunker to equip the MAW and aim it towards the skull icon with a timer below it.
To better protect yourself while using the supply bunker for cover, build turrets onto the indicated platforms attached to the structure’s roof.
Use the MAW or grenades to fend off the invading ground troops that appear first and charge towards the saloon you’re protecting, then clear out the first wave and refill on missile ammo.
Approach the red tank icon just the timer below it hits zero, then begin attacking the enemy vehicle using your rocket launcher in unison with the beam turret you constructed in this area earlier.
Move back and forth between the beam turret and the supply bunker to help fend off the invading forces on both sides, then re-build any weaponry that is destroyed during the battle and call upon re-enforcements from an outpost when necessary.
Continue battling the invading forces until the next cut scene activates, then return to the saloon and break open the barrels to collect rift energy.
Build a Depot, and an outpost if possible, then jump into the driver’s seat of the tank that drops down and head over to the nearest red icon indicated beyond the mountains in the distance.
Save your shells for larger artillery and use the tank’s machine gun to clear out the smaller enemies on foot or their dune buggies.
Avoid driving near the transparent red circles that appear on the ground around you as they represent incoming mortar attacks.
Use the road that runs through town to circle around the mountain range and locate the enemy Ox tanks attacking the area, then keep your distance from them and destroy the opposing vehicles with shell rounds.
Clear the mountain area of all remaining Ox tanks and return to the saloon to activate a cut scene, then build auto and beam turrets in the vicinity of all paths that have been marked with red enemy icons.
Use an outpost to replenish your ranks and enter the supply bunker to arm the MAW, then point it towards the red Hawk icon with a timer below it and wait for the enemy planes to arrive.
Lock on to and blow the enemy Hawks out of the sky in unison with the beam turrets you built earner, then jump back into the cockpit of your Ox tank and drive over to where other opposing tanks will soon appear.
Use your shells to blow up and fend off the invading Ox tanks, then drive over to the icon that indicates approaching Vulture enemies and clear them out as well to complete this mission.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Ashes (Bronze): Complete mission 8: “Ashes”.

SEVER
Enter flight and boost straight forward into the distance to get clear of the surrounding battle, then tour around and begin your approach towards the enemy dropships below.
Fend off the Hawks as you collect ammo for your special weaponry, then continue attacking the nearby enemies and activate a cut scene.
Fly towards the next on-screen icon in the distance to reach the train and navigate through the open car to collect the Torpedo weapon.
Head towards the floating landmass where the red forcefield is located and hold down the trigger to enter the torpedo targeting screen, then aim the the crosshairs at one of the dropships below and release the button when the two control bars are full to fire a missile into it.
Ignore the surrounding Hawks and return to the train collect another Torpedo, then circle back around to target and destroy another dropship.
Clear out the remaining dropships occupying the other floating landmasses and activate another cut scene, then circle around the train where the health items is located and use evasive maneuvers to survive the beam turret assault.
Fly towards the large enemy ship and use your swarm lasers to begin targeting the various turrets attached to it, then begin using these weapons and a variety of others to destroy the large guns.
As you move in close alongside the ship to destroy the beam turrets, use your afterburner boost and stronger weaponry to get out of this dangerous situation more quickly.
Return to the train in between each assault on the large enemy ship for the purposes of refilling your Hawk’s ammo and health.
Approach the enemy ship at long distances from multiple directions to eventually destroy the beam turrets covering the front, rear and both sides of its massive hull.
After the next cut scene, fly towards the next onscreen diamond icon that appears and land on the indicated land mass below, then build a pair of beam turrets nearby and standby as they begin to destroy the containment array.
Build as many auto turrets as you can to protect the beam turrets and an A.R.M. to repair your Hawk when necessary, then back up to take cover behind a nearby rock formation and use your Hawk to shoot down the fleet of attacking vulture enemies that arrive after the next cut scene.
Construct an outpost or several more auto-turrets around the beam turrets before the enemy Hawks begin to arrive, then destroy the opposing mech’s using stomp attacks and special weaponry.
Replace the beam turrets if they are destroyed and focus the majority of your firepower on the newest enemy Hawks that drop down onto the landmass, then continue protecting the beam turrets until a cut scene activates.
Enter flight and return to the traincar to acquire a torpedo, then turn back towards the large enemy ship below and approach the previous landmass to target the opening created by the beam turrets you constructed earlier.
Aim the torpedo launcher’s crosshairs directly into the hole that has been blown into the side of the ship, then fire the rocket to activate a cut scene in which the containment array is severely damaged.
Afterwards, use evasive maneuvers and weaponry that locks on to clear out the next large wave of Outcast Hawks.
Fly towards the next diamond icon that appears onscreen and land on the floating landmass in which the red forcefield is located, then build a pair of beam turrets, an A.R.M. and as many auto-turrets as possible.
Use your Hawk to protect the beam turrets and fight off the invading enemy forces in the same manner as you did before to activate another cut scene.
Afterwards, re-enter flight to acquire a torpedo and fire it as you did before through the hole that’s been made in the side of the large enemy ship.
Following the next cut scene, pick up another torpedo and fire it into the large enemy ship’s rift core to complete this mission.

THE SOURCE
Head towards the onscreen diamond icon in the distance and pick up the ammo supplies you find along the way, then continue past the green-lit crash site of the Logan’s ship and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, take cover behind some nearby debris and equip your rifle to score head-shots on the enemies that begin appearing ahead.
Clear out the wave of enemies and continue moving forward across the the rocky terrain, then approach the diamond icon in the distance to reach another green=lit area and turn take the right path at the fork in the road.
Use your rifle to eliminate the enemies blocking the path ahead and continue moving uphill as the environment’s overall color changes from green to red, then crouch down at the top of the incline and equip the railgun for sniping purposes.
Aim the railgun towards the enemies patrolling the ground below and take them out one-by-one, then drop down over the edge and continue sprinting towards the large flame in the distance.
Make your way up another steep incline and drop over the edge at the top, then approach the rift energy in front of you and collect the ammo supplies on the left.
Continue collecting ammo as you get closer to the rift energy and take cover behind the debris located right in front of it, then use your rifle with grenades and destroy the two creatures standing guard to activate a cut scene.
Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Family Reunion (Bronze): Meet Logan face-to-face in “The Source”.
Afterwards, immediately charge towards Logan and score multiple headshots using your rifle to cause him significant damage.
Run towards Logan while firing until you are right next to him, then follow up your assault with a series of close-range knife slashes until a burst of blue electricity covers the screen.
Refill your ammo supply and locate Logan’s new position in the area, then repeat the previous attack to continue wearing down the boss’ health.
Re-use the sprinting rifle attack with knife slash follow-up against Logan until another cut scene is activated, then build a pair of beam turrets in front of the Rift Entity and retreat to the rock formations behind you that surround the boss’ location.
Equip the railgun and find cover amongst the rocks to get a vantage point on the Rift Entity in the distance, then begin opening fire on the enemy’s face and region to begin doling out consistent damage.
Once you have run out of sniper ammo, build a supply bunker to acquire a MAW and use the rocket launcher to continue striking the Rift Entity in the head.
Avoid the multiple green targeting circles that frequently appear on the ground and continue wearing down the boss’ health until he disappears.
Approach the rift energy that was previously being guarded to build a few auto-turrets and walls in front of it, then construct a rig over the energy to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, use your knife strikes to help fend off the enemies that attack on foot until another cut scene is activated in which the Rift Entity returns.
Build a pair of beam turrets and a launch pad, then take control of the Hawk that drops down and re-enter flight begin firing upon the Rift Entity flying above.
Continuously strike the Rift Entity with weaponry that is able to lock on until the boss crashes back to the ground, then land your Hawk and build a new rig in place of the old one to activate another cut scene.
Afterwards, build a series of auto-turrets around the rig and defend it from invading ground forces by sprinting at them with knife strikes.
Continue defending the rig until another cut scene activates in which the Rift Entity returns, then build a beam turret or two in front of him and help wear the boss down with rifle shots to his face.
Build and replace to turrets to continuously wear down the Rift Enemy until he is destroyed, then build another rig over the rift energy to complete the game.
