Theatrical Pursuits
Welcome to Lego Batman 2, and if the new voice talent hasn’t dazzled you too much, you can prepare to start the first level when all the talking is done.
Batman and Robin burst into the scene at the gala dinner. You’ll start with Robin as your first companion. A quick press of [Y/Triangle] will switch between any followers if you’re playing alone, or even when friends join you.
Goons are running amok in the hall, time to beat them down to size. Batman comes with a few attacks, pressing [X/Rectangle] attacks. Holding the same button will make Batman take out a Batarang and line up a throw when you release the button. You can also do a powerful ground pound when you attack in mid-air.
If you’ve never played a Lego game before, keep in mind that anything made of Lego Bricks can be destroyed with the right equipment. For now, most of the tables and chairs are destructible. Smash them with a few attacks to release lots of Studs.
Studs are like points, collecting many studs will earn you a special prize at the end of each level. Don’t worry about collecting too many studs right now, you won’t be able to find enough on your first playthrough. But, studs will let you purchase new characters, vehicles, cheats and more. So it can’t hurt to try to collect a few.
Glowing blue or purple floating studs will often point you in the right direction. If you’re ever confused, try to follow the studs, usually they’ll take you where you want to go.
Fight through the thugs, and run towards the stage. You’ll see the Joker’s girlfriend, the jester henchgirl Harley Quinn, doing some acrobatic backflips. Just below are some hopping, bouncing Lego bricks. When you see bricks on the ground hopping and surrounded by glowing sparkles, you’ll know they can be constructed.
Run up to the hopping bricks and construct them with the [B/Circle] button. Bouncing bricks can also be heard, so always try to build any you get your hands on.
Before you head up the stairs you’ve just constructed, take some time to look around the dining hall. You can spot people being menaced by Joker thugs. If you defeat the thugs and save all the people, you’ll get a rescue bonus. Finding people to save is what Batman does best, so always look out for people in need of help.
Now, back to Harley Quinn. Get up the stairs, and she’ll warn you to stay away from the Joker. Obviously that isn’t an option when you’re Batman! She’ll retreat and bring in new mimes to attack you. Beat them up, and you’ll learn how to throw Batarangs.
Harley will jump up onto the statue on the left and throw things down at Batman. Try to avoid the junk, Batman only takes four hits before you lose some studs. The only punishment for losing a life in Lego Batman is losing some studs, you’ll reappear right where you left off. Still, losing studs is an inconvenience!
Throw a Batarang up at Harley, she’ll jump down and flips over to the right statue. Throw another Batarang, and she’ll finally flip to the podium. One final Batarang will do her in and open the way forward to chase after the Joker.
The trapdoors will open right ahead of the podium when Harley’s hearts are taken to zero. Jump down the hole to find a Save Switch. These are a new feature of the Lego games, allowing you to save mid-level. Use the Save Switch to save and continue, or take a break if you’d like.
After you save, the gate into the Orchestra Pit will open. It isn’t obvious what you need to do, but the Riddler is hiding somewhere inside. On the left side of the screen, that’s a giant tuba instrument against the back left wall. Hit it, and it’ll move!
Follow the tuba, punching it each time it stops. Eventually it’ll stop near the right wall and explode, revealing the Riddler hiding underneath! The Riddler won’t give up so easily, he’ll make a run for it and hide someplace new. Follow him!
Continuing right, you might spot a gold lock, and other gold Lego bricks. Sadly, you won’t be able to interact with these just yet. The Lego games are full of secrets for players when they go back through them a second time. You’ll spot alternate inaccessible paths all the time. Sometimes it can be confusing, but try to remember what you can’t interact with in each level so you don’t get stuck.
Moving right, go down the steps to enter a play’s set. The Riddler is hiding in the control room, and once you move close enough, he’ll summon a bunch of thugs to attack! Fight them off, if you’re quick you can target multiple goons with a single Batarang throw.
Each bad guy defeated will give you a Stud bonus. One way to get a big bonus is by grabbing a nearby enemy with the [B/Circle] button and then hitting the attack button for an instant defeat. You’ll get a quick five times multiplier.
Another function of the Batarang targeting reticule is the grappling hook. Holding down the [X/ Square] button will produce the reticule. Around the circle, you might notice a tiny triangle pointer. This pointer will guide you to any spots that Batman can use his grappling hook to get higher.
In this area, Batman can grapple up on the left side of the stage. Look for an orange glow. On the second floor, you can find another grapple spot. Use it, and while hanging on, grapple to yet another spot across the gap to your right.
Drop down from the second grapple, and follow the catwalk into the foreground to drop a glowing chest onto the ground, breaking it open. The broken chest will drop bouncing bricks – you know what to do. Build them!
Once built, you’ll find a weird suit floating above the Bat-symbol. Jump into it to acquire the Bat Sensor Suit! With this suit on, press [B/Circle] to activate invisibility.
While invisible, sneak across the Riddler’s security camera. If you’re spotted by the green laser of the camera, it’ll turn red and lock a door. Just stay invisible with the Sensor Suit and cross the beam to your right.
Run into the office and punch out the goon to shutdown the camera, letting Robin through. Now you can keep looking for the Riddler.
Past the security camera, you’ll enter a room with two grappling spots in the background. Grapple up to one, then switch characters to have your partner grapple up to another. While both spots are grappled, the door leading forward will open. Just hang tight until the door and the grapple spots break into studs.
With the way into the background clear, run toward the Riddler. But, he’ll retreat again! Switch to Sensor Suit Batman and use another one of the suit’s functions. Examine the green board against the background by standing on the white target on the ground and pressing [B / Circle].
When the button is pressed, you’ll be able to see through the screen. Look on the right side to find an X-Rayed Riddler. Press the attack button to shoot electricity at the switch, activating it and dropping something heavy on Riddler’s head.
Afterward, he’ll move to try and hide again. Look on the left side this time, and hit the attack button again. Finally, he’ll move to the center, where you only need to activate the last weight to make him fall out.
With the Riddler out, you’ll have to fight him. He doesn’t do anything special, this is a straight-up brawl. Attack him when he gets close or throw Batarangs until his health is depleted.
When the Riddler is defeated, the green board will shatter and leave behind bouncing bricks. Construct those bricks to form an elevator. Have Batman and Robin jump on to ride up to a new room.
Inside, you’ll find a Save Switch on the left, and a stand you can destroy on the right. Save your game, and punch the wheeled stand right next to the door until it leaves behind bouncing bricks. Construct them to form a new suit for Robin; the Acrobat Suit.
Switch to Robin and jump into the Robin symbol to get the new suit, which comes with an Acrobat Pole. Hold [X/Square] to find a Pole Socket. There’s one on the left wall, near the statue. Just look for a white and blue brick socket where a line of Studs shoots out toward the background.
But, you’ll have to deal with deadly penguins first! These penguins are armed with revolvers, so use the jump-attack to wipe them out safely.
Now, attach the Acrobat Pole to the Pole Socket and start swinging. You can reach it with Robin. In the Acrobat Suit, he has a double-jump, just press Jump twice. On the Acrobat Pole, you’ll swing around, giving you a much longer jump. Jump off when you’re ready and follow the line of Studs in the air.
When Robin reaches the upper floor, Two-Face will show himself and send goons after you. There’s nothing Robin can do to fight Two-Face, you need Batman! But, Two-Face will shoot at you in three-round bursts and send thugs.
Use Robin’s jump-attack to smash the leftmost bricks, leaving behind bouncing bricks to construct a grappling point. Switch to Batman, and grapple up to the next floor to join up with Robin.
Underneath the chandelier Two-Face is using, you’ll see two green lasers signifying security cameras. Use Batman’s Sensor Suit to turn invisible and sneak by the cameras. Smash all the brick seats in the booth to leave behind bouncing bricks for you to construct. When all built, you’ll find a strange gold and green transformer. This device can change Robin’s Acrobat Suit into another form – the Acrobat Ball.
Switch to Robin, then interact with the Ball Socket to put Robin in the ball, which allows him to interact with objects. Inside the ball, hold down to lower the chandelier Two-Face is using.
Once lowered, it’s time to beat up Two-Face! Switch to Batman, and lookout. Two-Face is more dangerous than the Riddler, he’ll jump from one side of the room to the other and shoot at you. Dodge his shots, then attack until he’s defeated.
Now that Two-Face is in custody, the flow of running citizens on the double stairs will stop, letting Batman continue upstairs.
In the Film Room, you’ll face the Joker and his thugs. The Joker will charge you and begin electrifying either Robin or Batman. Switch to the other character while you’re zapped and punch the Joker to free your friend and hurt the Joker.
He’ll retreat, just follow him and repeat the process. When he’s down to one last heart, he’ll jump onto the projector and cause a problem. Beat up the Joker thugs near the green transformer to your left, then use Batman’s Sensor Suit to check out what’s going on inside.
Interact with the green brick fuse box. Inside, you can move around several glowing wires. On the bottom right, move the red brick twice. In the top left, move the block once. The transformer will break and throw Joker through the wall. Follow him!
On the left side of the wreckage are some bouncing bricks. Construct them to form a Zip Line. Jump onto the line to zip down stage. With that done, you’ll have the first level of Lego Batman 2 completed!
Gotham City – Stop the Joker
This is where things really change for old Lego fans. Gotham City is a massive area than you can explore fully… eventually. For now, your only goal it to stop the escaping Joker.
You’ll appear on the roof of the building. Jump and you’ll glide down to the surface. Ahead is a police barricade, and right is nothing at all important, but you can find some hopping bricks to destroy. Clusters of hopping bricks signify a Gold Brick. Destroy all the hopping bricks and a Gold Brick will appear.
At the start of the game, you probably won’t be able to unlock most of the Gold Bricks. Fear not, you can always return to get them later! One you can get is down the road, on the right side of the theater.
You can’t chase the Joker yet. Follow the clear studs left of the theater to find some large vehicle pads and a green brick device in the back. Destroy the Lego bricks on the vehicle pad to find bouncing bricks. Construct them to find a new Sensor Suit.
Use Batman’s Sensor Suit to interact with the green brick device in the background. Break all four red locks to open the device and construct the bricks to unlock Robin’s Acrobat Suit.
Near the harbor is another Ball Socket for Robin’s Acrobat Suit to use. Interact, and keep moving until the crane lifts a box and drops it near the vehicle pad, producing even more bouncing bricks. Construct those bad boys to finally activate the Vehicle Terminal.
Using the Terminal will let you summon whatever vehicle you want to get around the city! Jump into the helicopter with Robin to chase the Joker!

Harboring A Criminal
Starting a new story level, you’ll learn some new facts about the world of Lego Batman 2. First, that flashing Lego objects can be destroyed with a Batarang. There are two flashing red Lego objects in the background.
Next, you can destroy Silver Lego objects only with explosives. You don’t have access to those yet, but you will eventually, don’t worry!
For now, your goal is to fix Robin’s helicopter. Beat up the goons around the helicopter and construct the bouncing bricks.
Before continuing, you can rescue a citizen near the harbor to your left.
Next, destroy the flashing Lego objects in the background. There are two, flashing red and glowing in the background. Destroying both will open up the news trailer with a glowing Lego object inside. Smash it to find more bouncing bricks.
Build the bouncing bricks in the trailer to form a Power Suit for Batman. The Power Suit can launch missiles just like how Batman throws Batarangs. Target the silver Lego spotlight on the right side of the theater entrance to find bouncing blocks than build to form a new suit for Robin.
Equip the new suit by jumping into the Robin symbol. This gives Robin the Magnet Suit. This suit can interact with glowing blue Lego objects with the [B / Circle] button. You can find your first blue Lego objects right nearby the suit. Pull both sides of the object down, revealing a straight path up the wall of glowing Blue lego bricks.
The Magnet Suit can’t just pull on magnetic bricks, it can also walk on them. Jump onto the path with Robin and walk all the way up. You’ll reach a landing above the theater entrance.
On the landing, run to the center and grapple up to a spot on the giant Man of the Year sign. Grappling on will raise the sign up enough for you to reach some handholds on the left and right sides of the theater.
Jump to the handholds on your left, and climb up to interact with more blue Lego objects. Pulling the objects closer will form a half-circle walkway around and over the sign leading Robin to the right side of the roof.
On the right side, beat up the Joker goons and tug on the magnet to free more parts of Robin’s Helicopter. Before jumping down, you’ll notice a glowing Orange Lego brick. Only powerful characters can interact with these – like Power Suit Batman.
Jump down to the helicopter and construct the new bouncing blocks. Then, switch to Batman and take the newly formed elevator left of the helicopter back up to the roofs.
Back on the roof, while equipped with Batman’s Power Suit, interact with the orange brick and tap the [B / Circle] button until Batman rips the gate down. Now that the gate is gone, switch to Robin and use the Magnet Suit to pull the ladder down.
Climb the ladder with Batman, and destroy the silver Lego object against the back wall, then use Robin’s Magnet Suit to pull the magnetic blue brick out. Step out onto the narrow walkway, and pull another magnetic brick down to reveal a grappling point.
Grapple up, and jump. To the left, you’ll find another silver searchlight requiring Batman’s bombs. Bomb it and build the bricks into a zip-line. Use the line to reach a circular ledge, and grapple up to the level above you.
Fight through the Joker goons as you move right toward a magnetic blue brick. Pull it down with Robin’s magnet suit, then grapple up to the grapple spot with Batman. You’re almost there!
At the very top, use Batman’s Power Suit to pull on the glowing orange handle. That will be the last part you need to fix Robin’s Helicopter! Get down there and construct the last bouncing bricks!
You can jump right back down, falling won’t hurt Batman or Robin. With Robin’s Helicopter fixed, jump in and the chase will continue.
After a cutscene, you’ll be chasing the Joker through the harbor on the Bat Jet. The attack button fires its cannons – move your reticule over the Joker’s boat and keep firing until the little orange bar runs dry!
After you damage the Joker’s boat once, he’ll zip away and more enemy boats will appear. These new boats come armed with Rocket Launchers! Target the thugs in their boats, and shoot down the purple-streaming rockets before they hit your jet.
When the enemy boats are destroyed, you’ll catch up with the Joker and can continue trying to destroy his boat. Bring the orange bar down to zero again.
After the Joker runs, enemy helicopters will arrive. They’ll try to damage you the same way, with purple rockets. Shoot all three down, then shoot the Joker until his boat is damaged.
The Joker will shoot his own rockets this time, so be careful and switch between shooting the Joker and his rockets to avoid taking too much damage.
The last round makes you fight three enemy boats, then three helicopters, so lookout. Destroy all six, shoot down the Joker’s boat, and you’ll move onto the next area.
Joker’s boat crashes, but he’s still armed to the teeth. Time to fight the Joker a second time. You can’t get close with all those rockets, you’ll need to find another way to hurt him.
To the left of your crashed jet is a Lego bulldozer. Shoot the silver Lego object with a rocket using Batman’s Power Suit to find bouncing bricks. Construct them to create a Circus cannon.
The Circus cannon needs to be properly aligned before you can use it. On the left side is a green paddle. Push it forward to set up the cannon, then use Batman’s Power Suit to interact with the glowing orange handle that appears.
Interacting will fire the cannon and damage the Joker, making the villainous clown change his plan. Instead of rockets, he pulls out electrified pies and throws them like grenades, destroying your cannon!
So much for the cannon, you’ll need to find yet another way to get to the Joker. The pies are far more dangerous, where they land spreads a wide electricity effect that harms anyone inside. Stay far away from where a pie is about to land.
Now, run to the right of the Joker towards the building’s entrance where you can find a pile of bouncing bricks. If you stand far enough right of the Joker, he’ll stop throwing explosive pies, giving you time to construct the bricks.
Once the bricks are built, the clown face will show off a row of silver Lego brick teeth. Use Batman to shoot a rocket and destroy those silver Lego bricks.
Busting out the teeth will reveal bouncing magnetic blue bricks. Construct them to fix the magnetic pathway leading up left of the clown face. Switch to Robin to walk up the wall of blue Lego bricks.
On the roof, look for a breakable brick just behind the turning sign and below the ugly clown inflatable. Breaking it will reveal blue magnetic bricks. Interact to pull both Lego pins out and hurt the Joker again.
Next, the Joker will summon a deadly hovercraft covered in thugs and guns. It’ll launch a barrage of missiles, and the turret on top will shoot at you periodically. Immediately switch to Batman and blast the silver Lego gun turret on the Hovercraft to destroy it, revealing blue magnetic bricks underneath.
Use Robin to pull open both sides of the blue bricks, until the silver Lego engine is revealed, allowing Power Suit Batman to destroy the engine with a missile. Fight off the incoming thugs, use the bouncing bricks left over from the destroyed Hovercraft to build a giant mallet, then use Batman to pull on the orange handle.
The Joker is now defeated and the level is complete, see you in the next one.
Gotham City – To the Batcave
Back in Gotham, you only need to return to the Batcave after a long night’s work of capturing villains. Nearby is a Vehicle Pad, use it and select the Batmobile for a sweet ride back to the Batcave through Gotham.
But, Alfred wants you to check the weapons systems of the Batmobile first. Holding the jump button will move you forward, and the standard attack button shoots. [B/ Circle] will launch a missile that can destroy silver Lego objects, just remember to tap it. Holding it down will put the Batmobile in reverse.
Alfred wants you to destroy all five silver statues before continuing. Use the Batmobile’s missiles, and get in some driving practice. With all five down, the gate to Gotham’s hills will open.
Follow the clear studs, they’ll show you the way back to your hideout. Take the road through the forest and up the hill, turning to find a large Batsymbol on the ground. Stop your car and jump out to use the nearby terminal, it’ll automatically take you to the cave.
Next, follow the pointer left inside the cave and get into the elevator. After a quick change, and a cutscene, Batman will return to the Batcave in his regular clothes as Bruce Wayne. Return to the central platform to use the Batcomputer and checkout what’s going on at the Justice League.
It just so happens there’s a problem. Use the Batcomputer again to scan the city for emergencies. To find the problem, move the cursor left and down slightly, scanning all the way. Scan the red exclamation point, then select the yellow Bat-symbol beacon.
Back outside, you’ll be driving the Batmobile. Just follow the clear studs all the way to Arkham Asylum. Stop at the bridge, and find the large pointer showing you another terminal to use. Interact with the terminal to raise the bridge into Arkham.
With the bridge raising, jump back into your car and cross. Drive past the Bat-symbol to enter the chaotic asylum.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Arkham Asylum Antics
Arriving in the asylum, you’ll first have to deal with Catwoman on her motorcycle in the maze. She’ll circle the area, so watch out when she drives through or you’ll take some damage.
Down the steps, turn right and look for a fountain. Use your Batarang to destroy both of the clear pumps in the back corners, then construct the bouncing bricks. Use Batman and target the Pull Handle with a grappling hook. Pulling it will reveal Robin’s Acrobat Suit.
Switch to Robin, and grab the Acrobat Suit. Look right to throw the Acrobat Pole into a Pole Socket, then jump to it and flip across the gap. Run straight up the path until you find a broken wall with a narrow walkway of brown Lego bricks.
Use the brown bricks to carefully walk back towards your Acrobat Pole where there are some bouncing bricks to construct. Use the new Grapple Points to get Batman over the green gooey gap. Then turn the first corner and jump up to pull down the Penguin statue’s cane.
Hanging from the cane will drop the top hat and leave bouncing bricks. Construct them to create a Power Suit for Batman. Equip it, and move up to find a silver Lego gate. Destroy it with a missile, climb the vines, and destroy the silver Lego statue with another missile.
With Catwoman’s path blocked, she’ll crash through the gate and get knocked out. Use the new opened gate to reach even further into the maze.
In the next part of the maze, through the gate Catwoman crashed through, you’ll have to deal with Two-Face’s truck. Run left past the glass Lego objects and all the way to the corner with the creepy Lego skeleton statue.
Blow up the silver statue and build the blocks into an Acrobat Ball transformer. Use Robin to create the ball, where you’ll be able to move a large Bat symbol to the end of a track. Move the symbol left, then up, then left, then down, until it’s in the corner. Switch to Batman and smash the silver Lego bricks blocking your way to get the symbol all the way out.
The Symbol provides Batman with a Bat Suit. With this, he can create a sonic beam that shatters glass when you hold [B / Circle]. Give it a try on the glass Lego bricks to your right. You’ll have to hold the sonic beam on the glass for a few seconds for it to shatter.
When all the glass is broken, Two-Face will crash and open the gate in the center of the maze. Run on through!
Last is Bane’s devious Mole Machine, a drilling tank that circle the inner ring of the maze. Take the left path until you find a rocky area with Lego rocks below. Break all the rock bricks and construct the remains to find another Power Suit for Batman.
Continue down and look left to find a silver statue near pipes. Blow up the statue to create a flow of water… that you can’t do anything with. Don’t fret, you just need to the right suit to freeze the water.
Get the Bat Suit for Batman again, and follow the driller to an area with a grating. On the left side of the grating are two Grapple Points. Grapple and hang off both to move a Robin symbol below glass bricks on the right of the grating.
Switch to Batman and smash the glass with the Bat Suit’s sonic beam. Now, Robin can equip the Ice Suit. Return to that spurt of water south, or down, from the grates and freeze it. Just hold down [B / Circle] until the water freezes – which leads to Bane crashing his machine.
That completes another level of Lego Batman 2, all the villains are back in their cages. Well, all except for the Joker.
Gotham City – Courtyard Clean-Up
Now that you’re back in Gotham, run over to Commissioner Gordon and interact to speak with him. The pointer will show you the way. After a short cutscene, you’ll return to the depths of the Asylum.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Asylum Assignment
First thing’s first, destroy all the glowing bricks near the elevator and construct the parts to create a Hazard Suit for Robin.
With the Hazard Suit, Robin can jump safely into any liquid or walk through fire. There just so happens to be water to your left and fire to your right. Jump into the water pool to your left to fill the Hazard Suit’s tank full of water.
Now full of water, put out the fires by holding down the attack button. You have a limited supply of water, but you can refill just by jumping into the water again.
The Hazard Suit can’t survive electricity as you move right. Jump into the water, you’ll sink to the bottom. You can float just by holding the jump button. But, that isn’t what you need to do, you just need to pull the switch underwater to raise up a new suit for Batman.
Once the switch is pulled, switch to Batman and grab the new suit. The Electricity Suit lets you walk through, well, electricity without being harmed.
Have Batman cross the electrified area with the Electricity Suit, then pull the switch to the right that’s spewing more electricity. With his special suit, he’ll be safe. Pulling the switch will lower some tubes underwater, allowing Robin to move right.
Switch to Robin and continue right. Smash the Lego bricks on the bottom of the pool to let the platforms raise up, giving Batman safe passage over the water.
Cross the water with the new platforms as Batman, and interact with another electrified Lego object to shut down the underwater fans. Now, Robin can continue right underwater. Switch to him and get to it.
As Robin, jump behind the fans, continue right, then exit from another fan to find a nearby switch. Pull it! The fan blades can also be destroyed while they’re stopped.
Turning the switch will activate another electrified switch for Batman above water. Use it with Batman, and Killer Croc will be drawn from his underwater cage. Robin can now get across, so switch back to him and enter Croc’s swimming area.
Inside Croc’s pool, you’ll find a green glowing generator. Smash it with a few attacks, and a fan above water will stop for Batman. Switch back to Batman, smash the stopped fan in front of Croc’s cell, and continue running right.
Past Croc’s cell, under the window, you can find a Lego brick desk. Smash it until only bouncing bricks are left behind. Construct the bricks to form a green paddle.
Switch back to Robin, at the right side of Croc’s pool is a turntable exit. Have Robin stand inside, then switch to Batman and push the green paddle all the way around. Keep pushing, then hold it in place and Robin will automatically exit.
Switch to Robin, and look right for a pile of rubble underwater. That shows you where there’s a hole above. Float to the surface and jump out. In the background, above water, is a blue Lego object. Spray it with water until the meter fills to activate it and lower the stairs leading up.
Up the stairs, you’ll have some inmates to fight. Just left of a waterfall is a switch. Pull it to freeze the water, allowing you to climb the ice like a ladder. Up top, even more inmates will appear to attack.
At the top, look between the two archways for two identical Lego objects. Break them to create fountains of water. Then, find glowing Lego bricks under the rightmost archway. Smash the glowing bricks and build the hopping parts to find an Ice Suit for Robin.
With Robin’s Ice Suit, freeze both water fountains, then freeze the waterfall. Use the frozen waterfall in the background to climb up to the previously unreachable area above. Run up the stairs left and follow the path to the ice platforms you created.
Past the ice platforms, you’ll find a freeze jet. Robin can safely pass with the Ice Suit, and push on the green paddle on the other side. Push the paddle until the freeze jet stops and continue with both Batman and Robin into Mr. Freeze’s area.
Inside the asylum, in the background in the back left corner, you’ll find an electricity covered ice ladder. Switch to Batman and climb up… after all those crazy inmates are defeated.
Climb the ice and pull the switch with Batman to turn off the electricity and let Robin climb up. Switch to Robin and climb up top, where he can continue forward through the dangerous freeze jets.
Cross both, and jump down the trapdoor that opens on the other side. Pull the switch inside to make a green push paddle appear in the center of the room.
Push the green paddle until both freeze jets turn off. Then, you can climb back up the ice ladder, cross over the top of Mr. Freeze’s cell, and use Batman to interact with the electrified switch on the right side of the room.
You’ll need Robin to freeze the waterfall so you can cross over. Once that’s done, Batman is free to cross the gap and use the electrified switch. Pulling the switch will open the elevator. Have both Batman and Robin stand on the buttons inside to reach a new area.
You’ll see Scarecrow running away, but he’ll block the way with fire. Instead, move right to enter a large surveillance room full of thugs. Beat them all down, then use Batman’s Electricity Suit to activate the switch left of the giant monitors.
The monitors will activate, and an Acrobat Ball Transformer will appear in the center of the room. Grab the Acrobat Suit in the front left corner and interact with the transformer as Robin.
On the monitors, you can spot a large box and conveyor belts. A small maze is in the bottom center screen. You only need to move the blue dot up, left, down, and left all the way to the end.
A giant blue crate will rise out of the ground. Use the grappling hook on the handle to pull it open. Beat up the maniacs inside, then break the bricks and build the bouncing bricks to find Batman’s Sensor Suit.
Equip the Sensor Suit, and turn invisible to shut off the security cameras in the left room. Have Robin equip the Ice Suit to put out the fires, and you can chase Scarecrow.
Chase Scarecrow through the X-Ray Machine and left into the large chamber, beating up inmates as you go.
Once all the inmates are beaten, use the Sensor Suit on the blueish green panel on the back of the platform. Look left and interact with the first object once to create a green link. Move to the center object and interact twice. The right object needs to be interacted with twice to complete the link.
The bridge will raise, letting you continue right. Beat up the baddies and use Robin’s ice beam to freeze the waterfall. Climb it and pull the switch on the platform to raise another bridge leading into the background.
Run across the bridge, and cross the catwalk to the center of the room, fighting enemies all the way there. Remember, if an enemy is about to attack, he’ll flash [B / Circle]. If you press the button at the right time, you’ll counter and instantly defeat him, and give yourself a huge stud multiplier bonus.
With all the bad guys gone, use Batman and his Sensor Suit to scan the large Lego wall to the back and left.
To finish this puzzle, use the fuse in the top left corner to drop it. Use the blue objects to clear a path, letting the fuse roll into an elevator. Use the elevator to raise the fuse, then use each of the moving objects to make way for the fuse to land in the correct spot down the twisty tunnel.
The fuse safely in place, the back doors of this large central chamber will open. Down the hallway, the cells will break open and enemies will attack you. Fight them off until you reach a deadly wall of gas.
To stop the gas, have Batman jump and hang from the pole to the left, then have Robin pull the switch that appears on the right. Pulling the switch will shut down the gas.
Into the next room, Scarecrow will throw a canister of Fear Gas, infected Batman and Robin. Thugs will appear and attack. Wipe them out, and a giant Scarecrow will move in for the kill.
Giant Scarecrow takes quite a few hits, and he’s dangerous up close. Use quick attacks like the jump attack to hit him and get away. After three hits, he’ll run behind a barrier of gas and summon more inmates.
Defeat the goons, and Scarecrow will attack even bigger. Give him another three hits, using Batman and hit-and-run tactics with the jump attack. He’ll retreat, and the last of the thugs will break free from their cages and try to beat the Batman.
The more Fear Gas Scarecrow uses, the more sluggish and weird your controls will be. Just try to clear out the goons. When they’re defeated, you’ll find some bouncing bricks to construct on the left and right side.
Construct both to create valves to turn. Each valve will lower and raise a handhold when turned. Turn the left one once, then have Batman or Robin hang from the handhold while their partner turns the valve a second time to raise them back up. Once on the catwalk, pull the switch to vent out the Fear Gas.
Follow the same process for the left and right sides of the cell block. With the Fear Gas all gone, beat Scarecrow back down to size.
Gotham City – Race to Ace
Back in the city, Alfred will let you know that remote terminals are now active. You’ll find your first just ahead, highlighted in a red beam of light. Go use it to give it a try.
Using the computer will reveal more than just one problem. Captain Boomerang has appeared in Arkham Asylum! Ignore him for now, you have bigger problems to deal with at Ace Chemicals.
Set a Marker at your Bat-symbol south of the Asylum. With the market set, clear studs will lead you to your destination. Summon a new Batmobile and drive down to the chemical plant.
On the way, you’ll be stopped by a huge gate. To the left of the gate is an electricity switch. Luckily, even further left is an Electricity Suit for Batman. Grab the suit and use the switch to lower the gate into Gotham City proper. Jump back into your ride and get back on your trip.
Drive through the open gates of Ace Chemicals to start the next level.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Chemical Crisis
Entering the Ace Chemicals building, Batman and Robin need to find five clues scattered around the area.
You’ll also encounter a new hazard; puddles of chemicals. Stepping into the chemicals will hurt, so stay away.
Just ahead, you can find Robin’s Hazard Suit inside a closed chamber. To get inside, just smash the Lego objects right of the chamber and build the bouncing bricks into a switch. Turn the switch, and the chamber will open.
Switch to Robin, and grab the floating Hazard Suit inside. Equip it, and start cleaning up the chemical spills with a spray of water.
Into the next room to your right, jump into the pool after climbing the stairs and flip the switch to raise your first clue out of the water. Make sure to use Robin’s Hazard Suit so you’ll sink to the bottom of the water pool.
With the green container raised up, jump to the hand holds and interact with the white spot to get your first chemical sample. The door back in the main room on the right side will open, and some thugs will attack.
Switch to Batman and beat the thugs down. Continue right to the catwalks overlooking a giant green vat of chemicals, fighting the thugs and throwing Batarangs at the pie-throwers above until you’re past the purple vat.
In the next area, the elevator will crash and explode, leaving behind electric currents. You know what that means, you need to find Batman’s Electricity Suit.
At the center of the room, right of the valve you can turn, are four red lit Lego objects. Break all four so that they turn green, then turn the valve to reveal a pool of green chemical. You don’t want to suck this chemical spill up, you want to clean it up.
Have Robin jump into the pool of water to the right, then clean up the green sludge with a spray of water using the Hazard Suit to reveal Batman’s Electricity Suit underneath. Now you can climb the ladder in the back left filled with electric currents.
Climb the ladder with Batman’s Electricity Suit equipped, then turn the switch at the top to turn the currents off, allowing Robin to rejoin Batman.
Now you can easily collect the next clue. Just follow the grated catwalk left and interact with the purple container.
Getting the second chemical sample will open the large underwater pipe back right near the electrified switch you just used. Fight through the thugs, then switch to Robin and his Hazard Suit to walk through the water-filled pipes.
At the end of the water-filled pipes is a switch. Turn it to drain the pipes of water and open the door into a new area.
In the new area, you’ll immediately spot an electrified ladder, and blue magnetic Lego bricks. Keep Robin and his water-filled Hazard Suit equipped, you’ll need the water!
Run down the steps and look in the left corner, just behind another set of steps. Clean up the mess of green and purple chemicals to find a new suit for Robin.
After cleaning up the spill, build the bouncing bricks into Robin’s Magnet Suit. Equip the suit, and run back up the stairs to scale those magnetic blue bricks. They’ll take you to a small catwalk above a previously unreachable area for Robin. Jump down, and use your magnet power on the blue brick in the back left corner.
Have Batman with his Electricity Suit use the newly revealed switch, then interact with the chemical vat to find your fourth sample.
Doing so will raise a new catwalk over the giant green vat in the background with a handful of enemies. Past them is another blue magnetic brick. Use Robin and his Magnet Suit to tug the blue brick down, revealing a ladder.
Up the ladder, one of the Joker’s bombs will destroy your path forward. Simply rebuild a portion of the bridge using the bouncing bricks and jump across.
Ahead and to the right, you’ll find machines moving chemicals behind a metal fence. Run into the foreground and wait for one of the chemical trays to move into position on your right, so you can leap on and ride.
Jump off right over the lanes. Look for blue magnetic Lego objects in the background, and pull them forward using Robin’s Magnet Suit. Now, you can climb up to the raised area in the back ground with a few jumps.
Up on the platform, you’ll also find your fourth chemical sample, orange this time. It’ll also activate more moving trays to your right down below, bringing some thugs with.
Getting across the gap to your right is a lot trickier. Wait for one tray to stop, then jump off to the other and ride it until you can leap.
When you make it into the area with three pools of chemicals, switch to Batman and use the electrified switch near the larger of the green chemical pools. The switch will shut down the electricity guarding the Hazard Suit for Robin right behind the switch.
Grab Robin’s Hazard Suit and look at the back wall. See those three called circles against the back wall? Each needs to be filled with the appropriate colored chemical. Green goes to green, purple goes to purple, and orange goes to orange. Just have Robin fill up with each chemical, and fill each circle until the red light turns green.
Once all three vats are full, the pool of green chemicals will turn into water, allowing Hazard Suit Robin and Batman to swim right into the next area.
But, the hand holds to get up to the upper area and protected by electricity. Use Batman to climb up and pull the switch against the back wall up top.
The electricity is now gone. Jump up with Robin and clean up the green gunk in the foreground, covering another switch. When clear, pull the switch to open the passage.
With the gate open, run all the way to the right side, beating up the goons and their new forklift. Against the right wall are more hand holds that have been electrified. Jump up the pipes with Batman to reach them, then climb the hand holds to ender the gated off area.
Inside the gated area, flip the switch to open the vat to your left. Climb back up and over the gate and find the Forklift vehicle.
The Forklift vehicle can raise and lower its pallet, created a raised platform. Grab the Forklift and drive it over to the left side of the room. Wait for your partner to jump onto the pallet, then raise it. If you’re playing alone, the AI will jump onto the raised area for you, just hold the Forklift’s platform until it does.
Attack the Lego object on the left to create a ladder. You’ll need it, after you flip the switch on the raised platform, the vat will open and allow Robin to jump into the water.
In the central vat, Robin won’t be able to collect the last sample until it’s drained of water. Walk into the center of the vat and float to the surface to find a switch that will solve your water problem.
Now that the chemical container is water-free, go interact to collect the last sample, triggering a cutscene and taking you to the next part of the level.
An explosion has caused even more problems at Ace Chemicals. Run right through the chemical spills with Hazard Suit Robin, and break the Lego objects against the left wall near the fires until they produce bouncing bricks.
Construct and you’ll fix the water pump, filling the square area to your right with water. Jump in to fill Robin’s Hazard Suit and start cleaning up the chemical spills. When the area is clear, put out the fires too.
On the other side of the fires are bouncing bricks. Construct them to find a Robin symbol and his Acrobat Suit. Grab the new suit, and attach an Acrobat Pole to the Pole Slot on the back wall, the slot is a Lego object colored white and blue near floating studs. You can attach the pole by targeting the slot the same way you’d use a grappling hook or Batarang.
Crossing the gap, jump down into the new area and use the white and blue Acrobat Ball transformer on the ground. Move the Acrobat Ball left inside the transformer to raise a bridge so Batman can cross the gap. Keep moving until the bridge locks into place.
Now that batman is across, he can interact with the leftmost electrified switch. Then interact with the center switch to find bouncing bricks. Build them and you’ll find Batman’s Power Suit.
Equip the Power Suit, and continue down the steps on the right toward a locked gate with an orange handle. Interact with the handle while you have the Power Suit equipped and tap to rip the gate down.
Through the gate, look to the background for a faint blue and white Lego pole. Robin with the Acrobat Suit can climb any poles marked with white and blue bricks – just like he can interact with Acrobat Ball Transformers marked with blue and white, or use Acrobat Pole Slots marked with blue and white.
Climb the pole up to the raised catwalk and build the bouncing bricks to create a Grapple Point for Batman. Switch to Batman, grapple up, and then rip off the orange brick handle on the gate on your right.
With the gate down, switch to Robin. He can wall-jump between narrow areas marked with blue and white. Start by jumping left, then wall-jumping right, then left, then right, then one final time left to reach the top. It might take some practice, but you’ll get the hang of it.
At the top, attack the glowing white Lego object to lower a ladder for Batman. Climb up with the Bat and blast the silver Lego objects to your left.
The base of the tower is your primary target. Destroying it will drop the tower and give Batman a way across the gap. Use the tower like a bridge, and continue moving right until another tower drops in your path, leaving behind a large silver Lego object. Blow it up with Batman’s rockets, of course!
Inside the next room, you’ll find a fuzzy computer monitor in the center of two computer consoles. You might notice, those Lego brick computer desks have a lot of blue and white. Smash both, then build up the hopping bricks to create a new Acrobat Ball Transformer.
Jump into the Ball Socket with Robin’s Acrobat Ball and you’ll have control of a cursor. Press the attack button to interact with anything on screen. If you want, you can click on the Joker’s face to see it move around.
But, what you need to do is clock on the pipe-symbols in the top left and bottom right corners. Click each to shut off the steam above the computer, allowing you to run up the stairs and get by the ledge that was previously covered in steam.
Following the catwalk right, you’ll find some goons and another orange handle that needs Batman’s Power Suit to pull off. Rip it down, then wall jump with Robin. At the top is a Ball Socket.
Use Robin’s Acrobat Ball to manipulate the Ball Socket, giving you control of a platform you can raise up and down. Look across the screen, you can spot an electrified switch on the right, and Batman’s Electricity Suit below it.
Lower the platform so Batman can reach the Electricity Suit, then switch to Batman and go for it. One handy thing, you won’t have to move the platform up. There’s a grapple point above the Bat Symbol holding the Electricity Suit.
Grapple up after taking the Electricity Suit and flip the switch. Now Robin needs to get across to join Batman.
Switch to Robin, and take the same route as Batman. Jump down to the lower gratings on the right, then grapple up. Keeping Robin selected, continue right into the new area. You’ll find several pools of chemicals, but above the first is an Acrobat Pole Socket.
Attach the Acrobat Pole to the Socket, and effortlessly flip over the chemicals with Robin. On the other end, Robin can pull the switch to close the vats.
Run across, and use Batman’s electricity suit to activate the switch at the end. Jump onto the pipe, and wait for the top to pop up so you can get onto a large metal crate – moved into position when you flipped that electricity switch.
Landing on the metal crate will trigger a cutscene where Superman will arrive at the scene to help. When the cutscene ends, you’ll be able to play as Superman.
Superman is different than Batman, he can put out fires with his ice breath and fly! Flying works just like Robin’s Hazard Suit, holding jump will let Superman float up.
Switch to Superman and try out his new powers. Put out the fire to your left first, it’s a small one. Next, fly up to the back left corner where there’s an orange handle. Superman just naturally has super strength, so he can rip it down by himself.
Tearing down the orange handle will produce a stream of water. Superman’s freeze breath can also freeze water. Go ahead and freeze the waterfall, allowing Batman and Robin to climb the frozen ice up to the second floor.
Circle around the catwalks until you find some brown glowing Lego objects. Smash them all to find bouncing bricks, construct them to find Batman’s Power Suit. Despite all of Superman’s powers, he still can’t destroy silver Lego objects.
Have Batman grab the Power Suit, then break the silver Lego object just right blocking off Robin’s Hazard Suit. Once the suit is free, grab it with Robin.
Further right is a Lego brick wall. You won’t need Sensor Suit Batman now, Superman can use his X-Ray Vision to see inside. Interact with all three Lego objects inside to open the vats in the foreground.
Remember the previous puzzle where each vat needs to be filled with each color of chemicals? Same thing here, just use Robin to soak up green, then fill the green vat. Do that same for orange and purple.
The only problem? The vats aren’t easy to find. Below you’ll find orange and only orange. Green can be found on the raised area past the magma fountains. The purple vat is just further right of the green vat.
Fill all three colors vats, and the two magma fountains (that are actually just chemicals) will turn into safe water. Use Superman’s ice breath to freeze both fountains, then use them as platforms to climb even higher.
Ahead, you’ll find a barrier of electricity and an electrified switch. That means you need to go back and grab Batman’s Electricity Suit, it should be near the Robin Symbol back left of the chemical vats.
Run through the electricity with Batman and flip the switch to let Robin and Superman through.
Switch to Superman, and flow toward the gold Lego surface on the right, above a raging fire. Holding down the attack button will shoot Superman’s eye lasers, which he can use to cut out the glowing shape in the gold Lego bricks. Just move the laser near the dotted line until it’s all red.
Once cut, water will spill out and let your partners join you up on the upper catwalk, which you can use to continue right. Crossing the bridge, it’ll fall, but you’ll be safe.
Reaching another giant vat with a gold Lego surface, shoot out the pattern to spill water, then use Superman’s ice breath to freeze the waterfall.
Climb the frozen waterfall, switch to Batman, and use the last switch to open the elevator on the right. Get everyone into the elevator and you’ll reach the roof of the building.
On the roof, look right for the sign to topple – leaving a narrow path full of electricity. Cross over using Batman’s Electricity Suit to safely cross. On the right side of the sign, you’ll find the electricity switch. There’s just one problem, Batman can’t reach it.
Switch to Superman and fly across, then use his heat vision on the two golden Lego objects below the electrified switch. Destroying both will produce enough bouncing bricks to construct a ladder for Batman. Grab Batman, climb the ladder, and turn off the electricity switch.
With the electricity off, cross back over to the left side of the fallen sign to grab Batman’s Power Suit. You’ll need it to destroy silver Lego objects -back- on the right side.
Return to the right side, and destroy the two silver Lego supports underneath the water tower. That that final job done, you’ll complete the level.
Gotham City – The Juggernaut
Back in Gotham City, follow your clear studs to the center park where a huge truck is driving in circles. Pull up aside the truck to trigger a cutscene.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Chemical Signature
Lex and Joker are up to some evil schemes. After the scene ends, you’ll be chasing the giant truck through the streets of Gotham. Don’t worry about following, the Batmobile will chase on it’s own.
While chasing the truck, wait for a large purple missile launch to raise up. Shoot down any missiles, and keep firing on the weapon until the giant trailer takes damage and speeds up, leaving behind some Joker Helicopters to fight.
Destroy the helicopters, and you’ll get the chance to shoot the top cannon again. More helicopters will arrive, and the trailer will shoot at you with a cannon on the bottom, then the right side, and finally on the left side. It won’t take a break, continuing to fire while new helicopters arrive.
At the last health heart, the top cannon will come online. Destroy it, and you’ll start a cutscene.
After the scene plays out, Batman and Robin will enter the trailer. Inside, two angry scientists will lead two Lexbot factories. The booths will constantly produce deadly Lexbots until they’re destroyed. Throw a Batarang at the consoles next to the booths to stop them for good.
With the Lexbots taken care of, smash the two glowing Lego brick crates and construct the bouncing bricks. Grab the Magnet Suit that appears with Robin, then use his magnet ability on the blue magnetic blocks on the right.
Doing so will drop a magnetic blue sphere. Hold down the magnetizing button and walk the sphere through the simple pathway under the glass floor until it’s on the left side of the room and under the circle. When placed in the circle, the sphere will raise up and unlock a new magnetic pathway nearby.
Use Robin to walk up the wall and across the ceiling, and into the second floor. A security camera awaits, but there’s nothing you can do about that yet. Instead, start by throwing a Batarang at the Lexbot Dispenser.
Just right of the Dispenser is a valve. Turn it to lower a ladder for Batman to join Robin on the second floor. Keep Robin, and look on the right side of the trailer for find a magnetic blue brick on the ceiling. Interact to pull it out and drop two glowing Lego crates.
Smash both of the Lego crates too find bouncing bricks, then build those bricks to unlock Batman’s Sensor Suit – just what you need to get by that camera to the left.
Turn invisible with Batman’s Sensor Suit to get by the camera and climb up to the roof of the trailer. On the trailer, Batarang the spinning blue Lego turbine just behind the ladder on the roof. Doing so will summon two Lexbot Dispensers.
Smash the console between the Dispensers with a Batarang to shut them down. If you look carefully, you can also find a citizen to save on the back end of the trail. Jump down from the roof, defeat the two Lexbot, and use a grappling hook to climb back up.
On the roof, switch to Robin and pull on the blue magnetic Lego object to close the jet streams and cross right. Between the two streams you’ll find two glowing blue Lego objects. Batarang both to raise a Lego wall.
Switch back to Batman and interact with the wall of Lego to scan the inside. This is a puzzle, you’ll need to turn the left and center red valves once before you turn the red valve in the top left corner.
Beating the puzzle will close the steam, allowing you to move right. As you two, two of Lex Luthor’s Jetpack goons will attack.
Throw a Batarang at each to make them crash, then construct the hopping bricks left behind to unlock the Bat Suit. Batman’s Bat Suit comes with a glider, allowing him to glide over long gaps when you hold the jump button.
But, you won’t be able to jump over this electricty without raising the platform first. To raise it, switch to Robin and interact with the magnetic blue brick. You’re on a timer, so once it’s fully raised, switch to Batman and glide across.
Smash the turbines across the electricity, then use Batman’s Sonic Beam to smash the clear Lego glass bricks inside the glowing green device. Doing so will reveal a blue magnetic Lego brick, use Robin’s Magnet to tug it until it’s destroyed.
Now there are some bouncing bricks to construct. But the bricks together to form a Bat-Terminal. Use it to summon the Bat Jet to blast a few holes in this giant trailer.
Keep Robin, and fight past the Lexbot to jump through the holes in the trailer. On the bottom left, you’ll find a blue magnetic Lego brick. Pull it off to open the way inside.
Into the next room, you’ll Kryptonite guarded by a forcefield with three energy sources. There are also two Lexbot Dispensers you’ll want to shut down right away.
Pull the switch on the far left of the room to reveal the first generator you need to destroy. Break it to stop one of the forcefield beams, and prepare to fight some Lexbots in retaliation.
The next generator is above you. Use Robin’s Magnet Suit to walk up the blue magnetic Lego walkway and pull the blue Lego object with his magnet power to reveal the second green generator. Destroy it and you’ll just have one more to go.
Build the leftover bouncing bricks from the destroyed generator to create a grapple point. Grapple up with Batman, then grapple onto the last spinning beam. It’ll take you across the room, jump off when you reach the right platform, then use your sonic beam on the glass Lego bricks.
Breaking the glass will reveal a final switch. Pulling it will reveal the last generator, and destroying it will complete the level.
Gotham City – Detective Work
That’s it for the Batmobile. You’ll appear near Wayne Manor, just switch to Robin and get into his motorcycle. Drive down the rode, then press [Y/Triangle] when you reach the Batcave entrance.
In the Batcave, use the Batcomputer to watch a scene. When it’s over, you’ll begin a new level.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Unwelcome Guests
Lex Luthor and the Joker have invaded the Batcave! It won’t be easy hurting them when they’re armed with the Deconstructor.
To damage the duo, run forward to the land vehicle platform, fighting Lexbots and Joker goons on the way there. On the vehicle pad, you can jump into the turret. Target Lex Luthor and just keep firing until he loses a heart.
When he’s heart, he’ll shoot your turret and destroy it. Time to find another way to hurt the villains. The wreckage of your turret forms bouncing bricks. Construct them to find Batman’s Electricity Suit. Equip it now.
Return to the Batcomputer and run left. Rocks will fall and destroy a portion of the walkway, leaving it electrified. Good thing you already have the Electricity Suit! Cross the gap with Batman and hit the electricity switch on the other end.
Let’s take a quick overview of the Batcave. On the far left corner, there are stairs leading up. If you get close, the Joker will destroy the stairs, leaving some blue and white bouncing bricks you can construct to make a Pole Socket, usable only by Acrobat Suit Robin.
On the right side of the cave, a cave-in will block your path than can only be cleared by Power Suit Batman.
The entire time, Lex and Joker will send combinations of their soldiers to attack you, so stay on your toes.
On the left side of the cave, look for a large glowing clear Lego object. Ignore that, because near it is a strange empty Lego platform with an electricity switch nearby. Use Batman and his Electricity Suit to activate the switch.
Using the switch will lower the Bat Suit for Batman. Equip it and jump off the pad as debris falls from the sky! Use your Bat Suit to smash the glass Lego object with Sonic Beams.
Breaking the Lego glass will reveal Robin’s Acrobat Suit. Grab it and get off the pad before it’s destroyed too! Now continue left with Robin selected, attaching a Pole to the Pole Socket where the stairs were destroyed and left behind bouncing bricks.
Use the Acrobat Pole and Robin to flip to the Bat Jet pad. Smash the nearby crate and build the bouncing bricks to create a handhold for Batman to get up there.
Bring Batman to the Bat Jet, then jump in, shooting and Lex and Joker under they destroy your vehicle. Construct the bouncing bricks and grab yet another suit – the Power Suit.
Now that you have the Power Suit, run all the way to the right side of the Batcave, past your Batcomputer and down the walkway. If you haven’t yet, there will be a cave-in. Use a missile to blast through the wreckage.
Walk across the gap, and blow up a silver Lego crate in the corner of the catwalk, left of the pump machine.
Next, have Batman and Robin jump on each of the red buttons on the pump to raise the Bat Boat. Get inside, and start shooting at Lex or the Joker!
After three hits, you’ll get to watch a cutscene. When you return, Superman will be with the dynamic duo. Switch to Superman and use his Heat Vision to cut through the golden Lego bricks in the back of the room.
With the wall cut down, Robin and Batman will automatically get to the second level using the elevator grapple point. Fly Superman up to the third level, Batman and Robin will automatically climb up the Lego rock wall.
With Superman, put out the fires around the two boxes on the third level. Put out both sets of fires, then destroy the boxes and build the bouncing bricks into two sets of hand holds so Batman and Robin can get across to the right side of the third level.
From the third level’s right side, use Batman or Robin to grapple from one point to the next, one at a time, to reach the fourth level.
On the fourth level, switch to Robin and attach a pole to the Pole Socket. Then flip from pole to pole up to the fifth level.
At the top level, the rocks will fall and leave a waterfall. Freeze the waterfall with Superman’s Freeze Breathe. Climb up with Batman, and finally blow open the back doors with Batman’s Power Suit missiles.
The door will open, revealing a Lego wall. Use Superman’s X-Ray Vision to see inside and figure out this next puzzle. Here, you only need to activate each of the red switches to open the door.
With the massive doors open, you can enter another chamber of the Batcave. As you enter, the floors will drop down to leave only narrow walkways.
You’ll need to get Robin and Batman to the left side of this room. Switch to Superman and fly over to the left side, defeat the Lexbot, and free a Robin symbol from its tube when the Lexbots are destroyed.
Still, as Superman, fly up to the upper level and put out the fires around the grapple point. Now, switch to Robin and get him to the Magnet Suit.
With the Magnet Suit equipped, use the grapple point to go up and cross the gap to your right using the blue Lego magnetic surface.
While it looks like you could cross the narrow walkways over to the dinosaur Lego, the walks will collapse when you get near. Batman will have to stay behind for now.
Cross over to the background surface using the blue magnetic Legos, then run across to the right of the dormant dinosaur Lego, fighting the Lexbots as you go. On the right side, look above at the windows of a room above.
Use Robin to pull on the grapple point to open the door inside, then fly into the room with Superman. Fight the Lexbots, and use Superman’s amazing Heat Vision to blast the gold Lego object inside.
Destroying the gold Lego object will cause a short. Now you need to get Batman from the left side of the massive chamber to the right. Switch to Batman using the shoulder buttons, and slowly work your way over to the right using the same blue narrow Lego walkways.
When you’re there, grapple up and construct the bouncing bricks to create a zip-line! Zip down the line and you’ll rejoin your partners.
Now that Batman is here, use his missiles to destroy all three silver Lego objects surrounding the Lego dinosaur. When all three are destroyed, construct the remaining bouncing bricks to form an Acrobat Ball socket. That means you need to get the Acrobat Suit again!
To get the Acrobat Suit, return to the front of the chamber using the blue magnet Lego bricks on the left wall, grab the Acrobat Suit, then use the blue Lego walkways to get to the right side where Batman used the zip-line.
It’s a long process, but it’ll get Robin back to the Acrobat Ball Socket. Use the Acrobat Ball on the Socket and move left until the dinosaur stops, leaving a grapple point overhead.
Use the grapple point on the dinosaur’s tail with Batman. Fight the Lexbots in the far end of the chamber, and use missiles to blast the silver Lego rocks in the ceiling of the cave. Two missiles will be enough to destroy the rocks and allow all three partners to escape from the roof using the giant Lego fan underneath.
Float through the ceiling, and you’ll complete the level.
Gotham City – Sky Chase
Lex and Joker are escaping in a massive flying machine! Luckily, that’s no problem for the Man of Steel. Switch to Superman and jump into the air, holding the jump button.
That’s right, Superman can fly! Take a moment to experiment with Superman’s flying, and when you’re ready to start the next level, fly straight for the giant black LexCorp flyer marked with a waypoint in the distance.
Fly close to the giant jet and the next level will begin.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Destination Metropolis
As the level begins, you’ll be chasing Lex’s aircraft with Superman. You aren’t in control of movement, so you only need to worry about shooting with your Heat Vision.
LexCorp enemy flyers will attack shooting laser beams. You can move Superman a little by pointing your cursor away from the shots. Once all the enemies are shot down, you’ll move closer.
More enemies will appear, while multiple missile turrets will pop out, signified by their orange health bars. Target the missiles they fire first before using your Heat Vision to destroy all five turrets.
Here’s a tip. The green missiles fly dumb, but the purple missiles track. Most of the lasers will bounce harmlessly off Superman, so don’t worry about dodging too much.
When the turrets and enemies are shot down, start shooting the rest of the Lego objects on the jet engine. Each has a health bar, destroy it, then completely destroy the gold Lego bricks underneath.
When the Lego bricks are destroyed, a final Lego object will appear over the Jet engine’s exhaust. Blast it, destroy the gold bricks, and you’ll move on.
As you move to the front, blast the large gold Lego surfaces to the left and right of the cockpit for an easy minikit.
As you get to the front, four more turrets will appear. Blast them all with your Heat Vision! Make sure to destroy the enemies too.
Next, you’ll move to the other wing. Same deal as before, destroy the enemies, turrets, then all three parts of the engines, including the gold Lego bricks. When the exhaust port shows a health bar, destroy that and the golden bricks underneath.
With that down, you’ll move directly behind the aircraft. Blast down the last three of the enemies, and Batman will be able to infiltrate the giant in a cutscene, lowering the back flap.
As Batman, grapple both orange Lego hooks to the left and right of the platform. Meanwhile, Lexbot will drop silver Lego barrels out at you, so watch out!
When both orange hooks are pulled, switch to Superman and destroy the gold Lego bricks underneath with Heat Vision. There are two more gold bricks above you’ll need to destroy too, just fly up to spot them.
Once all four gold bricks are broken, the shield blocking the entrance inside will fall. Fight through the Lexbots and get yourself into that aircraft.
Inside, a LexCorp pilot will jump into a flyer. Use Batman’s grappling hook to pull open the cockpit, then throw a Batarang to defeat the pilot.
The flyer will crash into the left wall, revealing a Lego brick wall that Superman can use his X-Ray Vision to see inside. Do so!
You’ll need to fix the pipes. There are four red Lego bricks you can interact with inside. Use each once to unlock Batman’s Electricity Suit, which you should equip now. Just nearby is an electricity switch that Batman can use.
Now that he’s electrified, use the other electricity switch on the back right corner of the room to lower an elevator. Ride the elevator up, then use both Batman and Superman to pull on the levers to the left and right of the back wall.
With both levers pulled, the shutter will open to reveal a wall of gold bricks. Use Superman’s Heat Vision to cut a Batman-shaped hole in the wall. This symbol can be strangely tricky. Stand in the center, right in front of the gold wall with some distance (Don’t stand directly in front of the wall) and make sure your partner isn’t in your wall – that should make it easier for you.
Through the gold wall is a chamber filled with the green glow of kryptonite. Switch to Batman and break the red glowing Lego locks. With all four broken, you’ll find some bouncing bricks. Construct them all to cover up the kryptonite, allowing Superman through.
Ahead is another door, this one locked by an orange power brick. Use Superman to pull, ripping the door open.
The room ahead is full of Lexbots, Joker thugs, and LexCorp Jet pack Soldiers. There’s also weak kryptonite everywhere. Keep Superman away from the kryptonite or he’ll be stunned, it’s easier to use Batman here.
Use Batman’s Batarangs to knock out the jet pack thugs. Grab one of their jet packs, and start firing missiles the same way you would on the Batmobile. They auto-track, so you only need to get close to the silver Lego bricks.
In the bat of the room there are four silver Lego crates full of supplies. Blow open all four with the jet pack, then jump out to construct the bouncing bricks that fall out. Each set will cover an opening in the back of the room, stopping the inflow of new bad guys.
Now that you have some peace, use the jet pack missiles to destroy the last four silver boxes. Each will drop more bouncing bricks, fixing the four devices in the center of the room.
When the two robot-arms and two orange power Lego handles are complete, use Superman to pull each of the orange glowing handles. Doing so will raise a missile up. Blast the back of the missile with your Heat Vision to launch it at the locked door and blow it open.
Through the blasted door, use Superman’s Ice Breath to get past the fires. Up the steps there are two more Lexbot Dispensers. Blast the golden Lego consoles to shut them down. Now you only need to reach Lex and Joker.
The two villains are hiding behind a green forcefield. Switch to Superman, and fly through the hole in the roof. Tons of villains will attack, so deal with them and pull on the orange power handle.
Pulling it will drop a green thing from the roof, and leave a ton of bouncing bricks to construct below. Switch to Batman and build those bricks. They’ll provide you with the Bat Suit!
To get to the top with Superman, look in the back left and right corners. Each has a glass cover. Break one or the other, you only need to break one, with the Sonic Beam. When broken, they’ll reveal a gust of wind. Jump inside, and the wind will take you to the roof with Superman.
Now, you only need to use the Sonic Beam on the glass to break into the cockpit. The only problem is, things don’t work out as planned. Either way, the level is over and you’ll now move onto the next stage.
Gotham City – Mr. Luthor Is Expecting You
If you plan to start the next stage, all you need to do is fly toward Metropolis in the distance with Superman. Flying is easy, but if you want to get there faster, just double-tap the jump button and you’ll fly at super-speed.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Research and Development
Arriving at LexCorp, the Evil Secretary will attack! She’s no pushover, she’ll spray lasers around the room before jumping onto a large LexCorp sign above her desk.
Switch to Superman and fly up after the robot, then use Heat Vision to destroy the gold bricks outlining the sign. There are four sections of gold bricks you need to destroy before the sign falls to the ground.
She’ll be stunned, but you can’t her it yet. Use Superman’s super-speed construction to build the blocks on the ground into Batman’s Power Suit.
With the Power Suit armed and ready, target the Evil Secretary robot with a missile. The missiles will damage the evil robot, making it retreat and activate LexCrop robot Dispensers.
Defeat the robot minions, and the boss will jump back down. Wait for it to stop its laser spinning before launching a missile, otherwise the bomb will bounce off. When its stunned after a spin, attach a missile to damage the boss.
After another hit, it will retreat and summon even more Lexbots. Destroy them all and the robot boss will follow the same pattern. After it’s defeated, fight off the last remaining robot minions.
With the bots wiped out, look behind the desk at the green Lego brick back wall. Use Superman’s X-Ray Vision to look behind the green Lego brick wall.
To solve the puzzle, you’ll need to connect the red pipes to the green pipes. Don’t try to connect the red pipes to red, you only need to makes sure they’re all lined up to green. When that’s done, the escalators on the right side will change, letting you go up.
Run to the escalators to the right and get yourself up to the second floor. Move left until you encounter several silver Lego bricks. Break them all with Batman’s Power Suit rockets, and construct the left over bouncing bricks into a terminal that will make a lever appear. Pull the lever and the elevator doors will open.
Enter the elevator and press down both floor switches with a partner. You’ll be taken up to a new room and a checkpoint.
Just right of the elevator is a silver Lego object and gold Lego object. Break them both and find bouncing bricks hidden inside. Build them to gain Batman’s Electricity Suit.
Further right is a giant bubble of kryptonite radiation. Superman can’t enter, but Batman can with his Electricity Suit. Run into the bubble and use the electricity switch to shut down the power and cover the kryptonite glow in lead.
Now Superman can continue right, but before you do, go grab Batman’s Power Suit and then continue right. Just left of the second krytponite field is a silver Lego object. Blast it with a missile, and have Superman destroy the gold Lego brick near it.
With the golden Lego destroyed, grab the Electricity Suit again and flip the electricity switch to get the conveyors moving. What do you do now? Why, go pick up the Power Suit again!
Bring the Power Suit back to the moving wall-conveyors, then launch a missile into the wall. The belts will move your missile on their own, destroying a hidden silver Lego brick and covering up the kryptonite.
Further right, you’ll run into a broken elevator. Left of the doors is another gold Lego wall. Cut it open with Superman’s Heat Vision, then tug the orange bar underneath with Batman’s grappling hook.
The elevator will arrive with two LexCorp guards armed with kryptonite. Fight them off with Batman and press down both pressure pads to enter a new room.
Going up, a scientist will activate a security camera as you arrive. Guards and bots will attack, but it’s nothing Batman and Superman can’t handle.
In the center of the room is a valve, but if you get close it’ll sink into the floor as you’re spotted by the camera. What you need is a Sensor Suit.
Left of the camera, you’ll find a gold Lego object to destroy with Heat Vision. Break it and construct the parts to create the Sensor Suit for Batman. How convenient!
Now, turn invisible and interact with the center valve. A target will appear, and a pressure pad will flip up inside the green bubble to your right. Have Batman stand on the button to test fire the strange cannon.
After you do, more enemies will attack. Defeat them, then turn the central valve against to bring out yet another target. Make sure you stay invisible as Batman, the camera is still on! Step on the button, defeat the bad guys, and turn the valve again to produce your last target – a dancing robot.
Step on the button to blast it, and the back wall will shatter. More robots will jump through the glass. Defeat them, and use the newly broken glass to get to the far back of the test chamber.
All the way through the smashed wall is a fan. The wind will blow up through the ceiling and into another testing room.
To the right is a giant machine spewing radiation. To the left and right of the machine are LexCorp conduits below the window. Smash each you find with Batman’s Batarang.
To continue right, you’ll need to break all the golden Lego objects around the top of the machine. Use Superman’s Heat Vision, and fly high to avoid the gas when getting around the other side.
For the second machine, fly to the ledge and pull on the orange glowing handle with Superman’s super strength. Then destroy the gears underneath.
The machine will stop and spew some bouncing bricks. Construct them to create a switch, then pull it to lower a grapple point to your right.
The third machine is protected by a kryptonite bubble, but Batman won’t have a problem walking through. Grapple up to the ledge, then jump down to the ground floor further right to fight two glowing crates. Smash them, and construct the parts to make a Bat Suit for Batman.
Grapple up to the ledge on the third machine and use your Sonic Beam to smash the glass bricks inside. The gas will stop, and Superman can move right to find yet another massive radiation barrier.
Left of the next barrier, you’ll find a spinning gold LexCorp statue. Melt it with your Heat Vision, and have Superman stand on the button underneath.
Standing on the button will raise a platform. Stand on the edge, then use Batman to glide across the gap. On the other side are two robots. Smash the bots, then use your Sonic Beam on the glass door in the back corner of the room.
Through the shattered glass door is a switch. Pull it to stop all the kryptonite radiation, and allow Superman to reach the giant gold Lego brick wall on the far right.
Cut a hole in the wall and jump through to enter yet another new room. Here, fight the enemies and use X-Ray vision on the green wall up the steps in the background.
Interact with every red Lego brick so that it’s touching the circle in the center to open the door. Down the hall you’ll find two scientists working on a table. Smash the table to get the bouncing bricks you need.
The bricks build into two chairs. Pilot the chairs like you would a vehicle, you’ll begin to pilot one of two robots.
The robots work just like you do, they can walk around and attack. But, a LexCorp scientist will pilot his own Prototype Robot.
The robotic boss is normally invulnerable. He’ll try to charge you, just get out of his way and he’ll crash against a wall. When he crashes into a wall, he’ll be stunned. This is your chance to attack and damage the giant robot.
Don’t try to attack the robot, he’ll always counter. Just follow the dodge/attack process three more times to win this fight and lower the gate into the next area.
In the combat arena, robot minions will constantly appear from four tubes. To close them, use the switch in the back of the room, in the center of the tubes.
Next, enter the right room and break both glass Lego covers before destroying the spinning Lego bricks underneath. Destroying both will lower a gold gate. Laser it open with Heat Vision to enter a new elevator. Press both buttons, and you’ll trigger a cutscene.
Things are looking bad for the two heroes, but it was all a ruse. The level is over, and the good guys are returning to Gotham.
Gotham City – Robot Takedown
Another simple level to start. You’ll begin as Superman, with Joker’s robot in the distance. Fly toward it, once you’re close, the next level will begin.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Down to Earth
Superman and Batman are on the Joker’s trail. You’ll start with Superman, use your Heat Vision to destroy all three flyers, and you’ll catch up to the giant Joker-bot.
As you get in close, you’ll be able to spot two silver Lego objects at the base of the giant robot’s feet. Superman’s lasers won’t do a thing to silver. Switch to Batman in his own flyer and blast those silver bricks.
While chasing the Joker, you can spot Joker balloons floating by to your left and right. If you miss them, just wait, they’ll be back! If you shoot down the balloons, shoot the box quickly and you’ll gain a minikit for each.
Next, you might notice a single flyer cross the center of the screen. Shoot it down to save a civilian for the stage.
Destroy all four of the silver Lego objects on the Joker-bot’s feet. There are four per foot. Break them all, and you’ll show the gold Lego objects on their feet.
Break one, and Joker-Bot will fly forward and more enemies will appear. Shoot them all down with Superman, and the Joker-Bot will slow down, letting you take out the second gold brick.
Now, Joker-Bot will retreat again. Destroy another wave of bad guys to get the giant robot to slow down. Keep shooting down the missiles to get in close, and the World’s Finest heroes will drop down onto the Joker Robot itself.
On the robot, run to the left leg and a flyer will attack. Use Batman’s grappling hook to target the orange Lego hook to pull off the cockpit, then throw a Batarang to make the enemy craft smash into the Joker Robot.
The bricks will crash in a fire. Use Superman’s Ice Breath to put out the flames, build the bricks, and grab Batman’s Power Suit. Now that you have a Power Suit, you can destroy the silver Lego vents on the left of the robot’s back.
With the silver bricks destroyed, it’ll expose gold bricks underneath. The robot will also fire with a super laser! Move quick, and use Superman’s Heat Vision to destroy those gold bricks.
After the golds are broken, an orange power handle will appear. Use Superman’s super strength to tear it off, and more silver Lego panels will appear on the right side of the robot – along with Lexbots and three laser turrets.
Destroy all three turrets to collect a minikit. It’s especially easy to do with Superman’s Heat Vision.
On the right side, destroy the silver with Batman missiles, then use Heat Vision to destroy the gold. Another orange power handle will appear, so pull it off with their hero.
With that job done, the level will complete. Moving on, Lex and Joker are still on the loose!
Gotham City – Crash Landing
Follow the clear blue studs all the way down the road, and make a left to reach a large gate blocking off your way to the bridge, and the next level.
Use Superman’s Heat Vision on the gold Lego brick lock, on the right side of the tall gate. When destroyed, it’ll lower and let you continue.
Just follow those clear blue studs! They’ll take you right to the crash site. Get close to the giant robot, and you’ll start a new level.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Underground Retreat
Starting the new level – if you can’t already, Superman is sick! He can’t fly due to kryptonite poisoning, but the rest of his powers are in effect. He still has Heat Vision and Ice Breath.
Appearing in the metro station, get close to the tracks for a quick cutscene. A laser will tear apart the underground, and leave a glowing orange power handle in the back right corner of the area.
Fight through the thugs and use Superman’s super-strength on that glowing orange Lego handle. Doing so will reveal bouncing bricks. Build them into an Electricity Suit for Batman, then hit the electricity switch on the right.
Next, just pull on the orange Lego handle attached to the debris ahead to clear it away. That’ll reveal more of the tunnel, and a burning bunch of rubble. Fight the Lexbots, then use Superman’s Ice Breath to put out all those fires.
When all the fires are out, the rubble will break down and allow you forward. Into the next terminal, the giant robot foot will smash through the ground and bring Lexbots with it.
Fight them off, and build the bouncing bricks on the right side of the area to find a Power Suit. Grab it with Batman, so you can missile the silver Lego bricks on the left of the giant robot foot!
With the silver smashed, an electricity switch will appear underneath. Return to the same Bat Suit pad, and switch back to the Electricity Suit to use the new switch.
Hitting the switch will make the giant Joker-Bot retreat, and reveal more silver Lego rocks deeper down the tunnel. Grab your Power Suit and destroy those nearly revealed silver bricks far in the background.
When the silver bricks are cleared out, jump onto the Lego brick train and use it as a path to go further through the tunnel. Clear through the Lego objects until you reach a gold Lego brick. Gold Lego bricks can only be destroyed with Superman’s Heat Vision, use it!
The door will take you into a new room. In the front and left section of the room, you’ll find three silver crates. Each will take two missiles to break open, but once you do they’ll leave behind bouncing bricks. Construct the bricks, to fix a machine on the left wall. Pull the switch on the same machine to produce even more bouncing bricks!
Bouncing bricks are good for only one thing – building. Put those bricks together, and you’ll have yourself an all new Bat Suit. Grab it with Batman, and then run right to find clear glass Lego pipes against the back wall, right near the train tracks.
Use the Bat Suit’s Sonic Beam to shatter the water, then use Superman’s Ice Breath on the water to freeze it. Climb up the new wall of ice with Batman, then glide right across the tracks to the center upper platform.
On this center platform, use the Sonic Beam to lower a ladder for Superman, then pull the switch. Pulling the switch will stop the trains, and reveal gold bricks on the train tracks.
Use Superman to Heat Vision those gold bricks, then construct the bouncing bricks into an orange power handle. Use Superman to pull the handle, but the giant robot will have other plans! Either way, the tunnel leading deeper into the background will open.
Run toward the background, defeating Lexbots as you go through the newly opened tunnel, free of oncoming trains. Through the tunnel, you’ll reach a fork in the tracks, with three platforms.
Near the left platform, you’ll find a fire blocking the ladder. Use Superman’s Ice Breath to put out the fires, then climb up the ladder with Batman. Use your gliding ability to jump right and glide over to the center platform’s hand holds.
Gliding to the hand holds can be tricky. Make sure to drop out of the glide, you’ll only grab the hand holds while falling.
From the center platform, jump to the right platform. Beat up the goons and break the glass Lego objects to lower the ladder down for Superman.
Superman needs to climb up this new ladder and use X-Ray Vision on the green Lego brick wall. The marker for activating it isn’t near the actual wall, so keep an eagle eye out for it on the center of the platform.
Looking into the green Lego bricks, turn all three red Lego valves to short out the electricity below.
With the power out, jump down and use Superman to pull on the orange Lego power handle. Enough pulling will open the path ahead. As you run into the tunnel, the Joker-Bot’s arm will smash through and grab the heroes! Pound on the button as it appears to break free and survive the ordeal.
Inside a new underground chamber, run right until the giant robot shows itself again. Lexbots will attack, but what you really want to look for are those gold Lego bricks on the Joker-Bot’s hand!
Make sure to keep your distance, after you destroy each section of gold bricks, the Joker-Bot will send a wave of electricity down onto the ground below. If you aren’t standing on the tracks, you’ll be fine.
It takes a lot of Heat Vision to break each gold brick, and the hand will periodically pound into the ground. Ignore the enemies, and find a good spot to hit the gold bricks – remember that the hand will always return to the exact same location. Don’t chase it when it moves.
Once all three gold bricks are broken, the robot arm will retreat, and allow you into the train car down the tracks.
Jumping into the train car, it’ll start moving. Take this chance to save and continue. Move forward on the train until the camera pans to let you see an orange glowing grappling point on the right train car. Pull it with Batman’s grappling hook.
When you enter the train car, the Joker-Bot’s laser will smash the car up. In the back left corner of the car is a ladder leading to the roof, use it when you’re safe from all the Lexbots.
Continue right, moving on the car roofs until you reach a narrow walkway. Use to to reach the next train car roof. Just as you arrive, the laser will blast it too!
The laser will knock out the roof, dropping Batman and Superman inside. Smash through the seats and robots, until you find your path blocked by fire. Put out the fires with Superman’s Ice Breath, then destroy those Lego rocks.
Next up is a flatbed car. It looks safe enough, until Joker fires a beam that blocks your path forward with electricity. There are two glowing crates nearby, smash them and build the bouncing bricks to grab Batman’s Electricity Suit.
Take the Electricity Suit, and you’ll be safe to cross over all that electricity as Batman. Cross over and use the electricity switch to let Superman cross too, where you’ll find an orange power handle on the next train car. Pull it with Superman to enter the train’s engine.
At the engine, run all the way to the front and use the electricity switch with Batman. A cutscene will trigger, and the level will finish. Count your collected studs, because you’re going after Lex and Joker.
Gotham City – City Hall Rally
This time, the Joker-Bot is waiting at City Hall. You know what to do, get down there! The clear Lego studs will lead the way.
Get close to the giant robot to start the next level.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
The Next President
Lex is gassing the crowd with Laughing Gas! As the level starts, once again with Batman and sick-Supes, switch to Superman and use his Heat Vision on the golden bricks right of Lex’s podium.
Cut out the dotted line and a silver Lego pipe will be revealed. You’ll need something exlosive to destroy this, so continue your search.
On the left side of the area, you’ll find three Lego objects hanging from the TV screens above. Break all three to find bouncing bricks, then construct them to create the Power Suit for Batman. Equip it, and return to those silver Lego pipes to your right.
Blast the silver pipes with a missile, creating a waterfall. Freeze the water with Superman’s Ice Breathe, and climb up the wall of ice with both heroes.
Up top, move right onto the televised screens, and blast the two golden bricks with Heat Vision. You’ll reveal a climbable Lego wall, but it’s electrified! Luckily, the destroyed gold bricks will drop bouncing bricks below the sign.
Jump down to build the new hopping bricks with Batman. Once build, you’ll be provided with an Electricity Suit. Climb back up the ice wall, then use the gray Lego electrified wall to get ontop of the billboard.
On top, use the electricity switch to shut down the currents, and bring Superman up to pull on the orange glowing Lego power handle.
The tower will fall, allowing Superman and Batman to climb onto the statue above. When you reach the satellite dish, Batman can throw a grappling hook up to a glowing orange Lego object attached to the Joker’s robot.
Pulling the orange block will lower a ladder. Keep climbing up! When both heroes are on the Joker’s robotic arm, step on the two orange buttons to make his gas-flower turn gold.
Blast the gold flower on the robot with Superman’s Heat Vision! Once destroyed, Batman and Superman will appear on the roof of city hall.
When you’re in control, run right to find the crashed bouncing bricks of a helicopter. Dodge the enemies and Joker-Bot ground-slams while you fix the two sets of bouncing bricks to finish up the helicopter.
With the helicopter repaired, it’ll fly up into the sky. Switch to Batman and grappled up to the grappling point on the chopper.
Enter the helicopter like any vehicle while hanging, and shine your light into the Joker-Bot’s face. Eventually the health bar will empty, and the robot will swipe at your helicopter, making it crash on a raise area to the right of the roof.
Now the trouble is reaching the crashed Lego wreckage of your helicopter. Look on the left side of the roof for steps up, near a wall of gold bricks. Laser through the gold bricks using Superman’s Heat Vision.
The wall will fall and reveal a passage deeper in, leading to a wooden plank going right to a Bat Suit. Grab the suit with Batman, then glide right to the platform right of you, following the studs floating in the air.
On the right platform, first thing’s first, ignore the bouncing bricks and run to the right corner to shatter the Lego glass with Batman’s Sonic Beam. When the glass breaks, bouncing bricks will fall out. Construct them into stairs.
Next, run back up your new stairs to construct all the Helicopter wreckage’s bouncing bricks. There are two sets, one will form a controllable spotlight that’s inactive, while the other will construct a generator and electricity switch.
An electricity switch needs electricity. Run back to the Bat-Symbol where you picked up the Bat Suit to swap out for your Electricity Suit. When you’ve got that, use the new stairs on the right to get back up to the upper area and activate the electricity switch.
The switch will activate the generator and turn the spotlight on. Control it like you would a vehicle, and point the light in the Joker-Bot’s face.
This is your chance! The Joker, once the orange meter is empty, will pound his fist into the roof and leave that flower open. You’ll notice a glowing power bar on the flower. Pull it with Superman’s strength. Doing so will trigger another cutscene.
It’s Robin to the rescue! That completes another level.
Gotham City – A Desperate Plan
Jump in the RobinMobile and start following those clear studs. Once you get close to the Joker-Bot, the next level will begin.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Core Instability
At the start of the mission, the Joker-Bot is chasing Batman, while you have a good view behind. Keep shooting!
You’ll notice other enemy vehicles on the road, like Two-Face’s car. Shoot it for a minikit!
As you drive around the city, you can also spot silver Lego objects. Breaking them will drop statues, do so as soon as you can.
Afterwards, start shooting at the core of the giant robot. It takes a lot of hit, so continue targeting each missile he fires to avoid being destroyed. When it finally goes down to zero, you’ll go down a different route.
On this second route, Batman will change directions, but you’ll need to follow the same pattern. Shoot down the missiles, wait until you see silver Lego scaffolding holding up a statue, and destroy the silver bricks to drop a statue on the giant robot.
When the statue hits, the core of the robot will become vulnerable. Keep shooting the core until it’s broken again, and the entire orange bar is empty.
A third route change follows. The Joker will fire more missiles now than ever, but the pattern stays the same. Wait until you spot a silver Lego brick, blast it, then shoot down the core of the robot.
This is a short level, and now the entire Justice League is on the case.
Gotham City – Wayne Tower Showdown
Another simple trip to the next level. Get in your car and drive toward Wayne Tower, following the clear blue studs.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Tower Defiance
Inside the Wayne Building, you’ll have some new heroes at your side. Green Lantern and Cyborg are here to help.
Cyborg has laser eyes, useful for breaking golden bricks and cutting gold brick walls. He’s also magnetic, able to pull any blue magnetic Lego bricks.
Green Lantern doesn’t have quite so many powers. He can just fly, but that’ll surely be useful.
Start the mission by destroying the gold Lego object in the background for an easy minikit.
Next, run right until you can spot a bunch of blue magnetic Lego debris hanging from cords on the ceiling. Use Cyborg to pull those bricks down to your level.
Pulling will drop the chunk and reveal a gold Lego lock. Blast it with Cyborg’s laser eye until it spills green Lego objects.
Green is the Green Lantern’s color. Only the Green Lantern can build with bouncing green Lego bricks. Start constructing to form the green Lego objects, then continue to hold down the same button with Green Lantern when you’re close to manipulate the green object.
When you’re done, Green Lantern will make the green hand pull up a narrow bridge to cross over the fire on the right side of the room. Start crosing over!
On the other side of the fire, the Joker-Bot will climb. Switch to Cyborg and tug on the orange power brick – yep, Cyborg is super-strong too!
With the handle pulled, smash the rest of the blocks underneath to find bouncing green bricks. Construct those bad boys with Green Lantern! He’ll form a hammer to smash open the door to your right.
Enter the elevator shaft with the waterfall. Inside are more bouncing bricks. Build them up to unlock the Ice Suit for Robin. Equip it, then freeze the waterfall in the back to form a climbable Lego wall.
Climb all the way up, including hand holds, to find a golden Lego wall to your left. Use Cyborg’s eye laser to cut out the dots.
Run left, fighting baddies, until a quick cutscene causes the roof to collapse! This must be R&D at WayneTech, you can spot all sorts of Batman goodies around.
In the foreground, ride the Batman vehicle ride for awhile to grab some easy studs, and an easy Minikit if you ride for long enough!
On the left side of the room, on the back wall, you’ll find two circular white Lego objects with snow symbols. These are ice switches, and can only be flipped by spraying them with Robin’s new Ice Cannon. Give both white Lego objects a spray of ice.
Hit both to open the Lego cage and reveal a pull hook for Batman’s grappling hook to latch onto. Pulling it will reveal a blue magnetic walkway for Cyborg to use.
Switch to Cyborg and walk up the wall, thankfully Green Lantern can join you up top easily with his flight. Up on top, you’ll find two gold Lego crates. Destroy both with Cyborg’s laser eye.
Then, construct the green Lego bricks with Green Lantern to clear the debris below, also producing a pile of bouncing bricks.
Build the bricks to unlock Batman’s Power Suit. Equip it, and run up the path of debris to your left. At the top, you’ll find a silver Lego door. One missile from Batman’s suit will take it out.
Inside the elevator shaft, there’s a raging fire! Switch to Robin to use his Ice Cannon to put the fires out. Then, shoot the ice switch above you against the back wall.
The ice will break open the Lego object below it, and reveal an orange grapple point. Grapple onto it with Robin or Batman to activate a giant fan beneath all four heroes. The gusts of wind will push you all up to a new room.
Inside the next area, you’ll find plenty of electricity to your right. Against the back wall there’s another Ice Switch. Hit it with Robin’s Ice Cannon to access the Electricity Suit for Batman beneath.
Now that Batman has an electricity suit, the electricity field won’t be a danger. Also, check behind the pod holding the Power Suit, there’s a minikit hidden!
Through the electricity, use the electricity switch to make the area safe for Robin and the others to cross. Make your way right up the rubble, and use Robin’s Ice Cannon to defuse the fire in your path.
Running up, you’ll find a new electricity switch. Use Batman to switch it, and a generator above will blow, dropping a bunch of green bouncing Lego bricks further left. Go manipulate those bricks with Green Lantern!
The Green Lantern, using the green Lego bricks, will destroy the giant fan left and closer into the background. Run through the broken fan and turn left to finally reach the roof!
Switch to Green Lantern on the roof, and run towards the giant Joker-Bot. See those strange Lego square objects ahead of the Joker? Smash them all to produce lots more green bricks for Green Lantern to play with!
Construct the green blocks to chase the Joker-Bot away from those gold Lego bricks. You’ll want to cut into those next with Cyborg’s lasers.
Once the gold is broken, the chamber will open and fill with electricity. Jump in with Electricity Suit Batman and flip the electricity switch to remove all the danger.
Once the electricity is gone, grab Robin and take the Hazard Suit waiting for you! With Robin selected, run into the good and start breaking the containers. Once they’re all destroyed, build the bouncing bricks to form an orange power handle.
Before you do anything else, you’ll find a pool of water on the right, in the foreground. Fill up Robin’s Hazard Tank and use the water to clean up the chemical spill near the helicopter.
Now that the chemicals are cleaned up, Cyborg can pull on the glowing orange power handle attached to the helicopter. When that’s done, you’ll have a new bridge to cross over the fire to your left.
But! Before you do, grab Robin’s Ice Suit again. There are fires on the left side you’ll need to put out. On the left side, run toward the Joker-Bot and put out the fires near the electricity switch with Robin’s Ice Cannon.
The electricity switch is now clear. Grab Batman, still in his Electricity Suit, and use the switch. The currents will zap the Joker-Bot, and move him to a new position. Run over there to confront him!
The Joker will summon his thugs to attack while pounding the ground. Don’t even try to get close to this giant robot! Instead, smash the square Lego objects in the center of the screen. They’ll produce new Lego bouncing bricks.
Build the bricks to form a cannon, then pilot it like a vehicle. Fire a shot, and the Joker will pound the ground, ejecting you from the turret and sending goons to attack. When the thugs are clear, and Joker stops punching the roof, get back into the turret to take another shot.
After the third shot, the Joker will destroy your turret – but all those missiles have knocked loose plenty of green Lego bricks. Switch to Green Lantern and construct to punch the robot off Wayne Tower.
It isn’t over yet! You’re falling after the Joker in what must be a massive tower! Dodge the missiles and falling debris to get in closer and closer to the robot. Eventually you’ll catch up!
When you land on the giant robot, the Joker will appear from hatches in its legs to pellet your team with damaging pies.
Eventually, the Joker will appear with a missile launcher and fire upon you. When he does, he’ll yell, “Come and get me!” That’s your time to strike! Throw a Batarang to damage him.
When hurt, the Joker will flip your team off his robot. You’ll need to dodge missiles and trash as you fall again to catch up and land on the giant robot a second time.
This time, the Joker will be trickier to hit, sending multiple missiles and goons after you when you land. Just wait patiently and dodge his attacks until his silver hearts turn red – signifying you can hurt him. When they do, throw a Batarang at him.
Again, the Joker will throw you free. Dodge the missiles and chunks of tower to land on the bot. Just follow the pattern again, with more thugs and more missiles. Throw a Batarang when Joker’s health turns red. Remember to be quick, or he’ll get away!
And finally, that completes the stage. You’ll even unlock some new heroes this time.
Gotham City – The Final Battle
The Joker is ahead. If you’re eager to start the final battle, all you need to do is run forward.
Return to the Walkthrough Main Page.
Heroes Unite
It’s on now. Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, and Green Lantern have all entered the fray to defeat the evil Joker robot.
Ahead, the Joker will summon a large number of robots to attack. Let’s talk a little bit about your new heroes; Wonder Woman and the Flash.
Wonder Woman can throw her tiara like a Batarang, fly, and has super strength. Flash? Well, he’s super fast.
Switch to Wonder Woman and pull the orange handle rich behind and left of where you start the level, in the close foreground for an easy Minikit.
To really get this level started, look on the right side for a golden Lego crate. Destroy it with Cyborg’s laser eye, then construct the bouncing bricks. They’ll provide Batman with an Electricity Suit.
Grab the suit with Batman, then run into the Joker’s electricity surrounding his right robotic hand. When Batman is sparked currents of electricity, you can then use the electricity switch in his hand while it’s open.
Wonder Woman, like Batman or Robin, can use pull handles using her lasso of truth, which is aimed just like Batman’s grappling hook. Pull the two pull handles in the exposed part of Joker-Bot’s arm.
With both pulled, switch to Cyborg and use the orange power handle that appears in the robot’s shoulder. You’ll have to climb up onto the fallen arm from the hand to reach the high pull handle with Cyborg.
Pulling it out will drain the robot of green juice. Don’t touch it! Instead, wait for the Joker to create some bouncing green Lego bricks to your left. This sounds like a job for the Green Lantern.
Use the Green Lantern to build the green blocks, and you’ll remove a panel from the Joker-Bot’s other arm, exposing a gold wall. Cut through it with Cyborg’s Laser Eye!
Pull on both orange handles underneath to expose to magnetic blue Lego objects. Those are just right for the magnetized Cyborg to pull open.
The arm will smash more crates ahead, leaving the bouncing bricks for a Robin suit in plain view. Construct the bricks to get Robin’s Acrobat Suit!
Throw an Acrobat Pole into the Acrobat Socket on the left side of the Joker robot, near it’s head. Jump onto the pole, and you’ll remove another bunch of green blocks from the robot.
More green blocks? They’ll begin to bounce when both shoulders are drained, making them perfect for the Green Lantern.
Now the Joker will be exposed. He’ll shoot at you and throw pies, and when you attack, he’ll joy-buzz the hero. Switch to another hero and attack the Joker from behind to damage him.
With one heart lost, he’ll retreat and a group of LexBots will drop down to fight your heroes. Defeat the robots, and the Joker will jump back down.
The Joker will follow the same pattern. Try to attack him, he’ll electrocute the hero, so switch heroes and attack the Joker to damage him. He’ll then retreat.
After each heart of damage he takes, he’ll summon more and more thugs. Also, beware of the Joker’s pies, they’re an instant defeat!
Hit him five times, and the Joker will be defeated. But, Lex Luthor isn’t about to give up. He’ll appear with a giant suit of Power Armor to kill our heroes.
After the cutscene, you’ll see that the heroes will need to build a special beacon to use the Justice League satellite’s laser beam.
To construct the control mechanism, you’ll need Lex Luthor to hit each of the shiny black Lego objects around the battlefield with his deconstructor ray. Just wait for him to shoot his giant energy beam, and hide behind the black shiny Lego bricks.
When the shiny black bricks are destroyed, they’ll leave behind bouncing brick parts for an Acrobat Ball Socket on the right side of the arena.
If you want to build fast, the Flash is especially good at constructing and dodging Lex’s missiles and machine gun.
When the Acrobat Ball Socket is finished, jump onto it with Robin in the Acrobat Suit. While in the socket, you’ll be able to control and aim the Justice League laser beam by holding the attack button.
Follow Lex’s robot, and try to keep your beam on him while he moves around. It’ll take a lot of beam before his orange health bar is drained. Don’t give up, and try to predict where he’ll move next. Remember, the laser pointer will move faster while you’re not firing, so stop firing when chased Lex.
After each hit you land on Lex he’ll knock you out of the control unit, forcing you to re-enter. Jump back inside, and expect company as Lex summons a legion of LexBots to help him out. Don’t worry, you’re invulnerable while inside the Transformer Ball Socket.
Damage the robot four time, and it’ll break down. Right near the top of the robot, you’ll find a Bat-Symbol on the ground. Switch to Batman and interact like a switch to deliver the final blow.
Congratulations, you’ve completed the main story of Lego Batman 2! Now, you’ve got an entire city to explore! Chase down all those escaped villains with the help of the Justice League.
