The Walking Dead: Episode 5 Walkthrough
Welcome to the Walking Dead: Episode 5 walkthrough. The last episode of Telltale’s Walking Dead episodic series, No Time Left , is set to dramatically end the post-apocalyptic adventure.
The heroes must escape to safety, but a series of mishaps and tragedies slow them down — you’ll have to earn that happy ending. If you want to succeed and save Clementine, get some helpful tips from our guide below.

Lee’s Arm
As Episode 5 opens, you’ll finish your conversation with Clem’s kidnapper on the radio. It will then be up to you to find a way out of Vernon’s hold hideout. (Note: Depending on your decision to end Episode 4, you’ll either be alone or still with the rest of the group).
Walk over to the blue cupboards on the right. There will be nothing in the first one, but there will be a rib spreader (that’s right!) in the first one on the far right. Walk around the cupboards on the left side and use the rib spreader to pry open the elevator doors (Lee!).
Quick! Before Kenny carves you up, tell him you’re awake! You’ll then have to make the choice of keeping your hand or having them cut it off. (If you go with the latter, it will be intense!)
I chose to have them cut it off, which makes the next scene (watching Lee climb up a ladder with one are) really entertaining. Press up on the left analog stick to make your way up to the roof with the others.
Once up on the roof, ACHIEVEMENT . Go talk to Omid about how getting over to the bell tower may be your best bet to get off the roof. Next, go and talk with the others about your current situation before brining up the idea of the bell tower.
Walk over and pick up the extension ladder. Place the cursor on the bell, then press X to have Lee set the Ladder up. After Lee says that he’s going to take the risk, slowly guide him across. When one of the rungs breaks, press X to leap across to the bell tower.
Since the hatch will be locked, press X on the rope to ring the bell. After the Walkers make their way toward the tower, you’ll then have to perform a death-defying leap back to the roof. As soon as Lee hits the edge, press X to jump out and press X in mid-air to grab the ledge.

Back at the Mansion
After you guys discover that the boat is gone, you’ll have to try to keep everyone (especially Kenny) calm. As the Walkers make their way toward the mansion, you’ll be the one who has to give every one order on what to do.
Once Omid rushes to close the front door, place the cursor over the Walker who grabs you through the doggy door and tap X a few times to break free. With you now free, press X to open the top drawer to the left of the dish washer and grab the knife inside. Place the cursor over the four arms coming through the doors and press X to chop them off.
Ahh! After everyone books it up stairs, knife the one Walker coming toward you, who appears to be Vernon’s female friend. Once you get upstairs, place the cursor over the dresser and press X in an attempt to help move it.
Shootin’ time! Kill the group of Walkers coming around the corner. Unfortunately, due to the lack of ammo, it won’t really matter. Reach for the attic string to pull down the ladder. You’ll then have an intense discussion with Kenny over the status of your arm (or lack thereof).
After Lee gets worked up, press X to grab the bust and throw it. As the others discuss what’s on the other side of the wall, grab the coat rack and use it to ram a hole through the wall. As Kenny works on creating a way out, you’ll then have a conversation with Omid and Christa and Kenny, Ben and Clem.
Once Kenny and Omid switch roles, there will be a slightly interesting revelation involving Christa and the bottle of whiskey. After Omid breaks through the wall and you make it into other house, you’ll earn an ACHIEVEMENT .

Escaping the Mansion
Go around and talk to everyone in the room before trying to exit the bedroom door next to Christa. Since you’ll hear the Walkers on the other side, try to go through the door that leads out to the balcony instead.
Press X to go onto the balcony and jump across to the roof. After everyone makes it safely across…Ben!!! After Kenny heads down the ladder, tell Christa and Omid to stay on the roof so you can help Kenny save Ben.
Holy crap! Ben’s got a freakin’ railing through his stomach! No matter what you tell Kenny to do, he’ll tell you to get back to the roof. And even if you protest, he’ll lock you on the other side of the gate.
After the intense scene, you’ll have to explain to Christa and Omid what happened. Following the loading screen, there will be another weird moment with Christa. After you make it over the shoddy makeshift bridge, you’ll earn an ACHIEVEMENT .

The Marsh House Hotel
At the edge of the last roof, you’ll then have to cross a shifty-looking sign to get to the hotel. Use the left analog stick to slowly make your way across sign. Naturally, just as you’re about to make it, the thing will collapse. Quickly press X to pull yourself up.
You’ll then have a couple important choices to make that will probably force you to split up with Omid and Christa one way or another. After the loading screen…oh man, it’s time to carve up a grip of zombies! Use the cleaver to fight of the large group of zombies to get to the hotel.
Once you make it inside, you’ll earn an ACHIEVEMENT . Head down the hallway and press X to on the door that Lee stops in front of. Press X again to open it. Walk over to the two doors tied together. You’ll then have a series of choices to make and a long conversation with Clem’s kidnapper.
After you notice Clem escape from the door behind Mr. Crazy, place the cursor over the cleaver to have Clem pick it up. After she cuts him, place the cursor over him and press X to tackle him. Follow the button sequence to wrestle the gun away from him, and after he gets up to go pick up the gun, follow him with the cursor and press X to tackle him again.
Press X again to force him to drop the gun, then mash X to choke him out. After you pick up the gun, press X to finish him off. After talking with Clem, go and ask here for the way out (only look in the bowling bowl bag if you’re brave!).
Go and open the door. When the Walker starts coming toward you, place the cursor over it and press X to take him out. Gross! It appears you’ll have to cover Clem in zombie guts to make it out of Savannah. Place the cursor over the Walker and cut it open and remove its intestines. Next, place the cursor over Clem and press X to smear its blood on her (front and back) before you exit the hotel and earn an ACHIEVEMENT .
Once out it the zombie-filled streets, slowly make your way past all of the Walkers. When Clem spots her parents (or what used to be her parents), you’ll have a decision to make.
After you wake up, help Clem open the bay door by mashing X. After attempting to open the door, you’ll have a decision to tell Clem about what really happened to you and your arm.
Next, allow Clem to help guide you over to the guard door. Mash X by trying to get Lee back to his feet. Look at the door and instruct Clem to try and open it. It will be locked, so place the cursor over the baseball bat under the counter to the left to have her use it to break the window.
Look at the chair to the right and instruct Clem to use it to help her unlock the door. Place the cursor on the door to have her open it, then have her pick up the handcuffs on the ground. Place the cursor over Lee and have Clem lock him up to the furnace.
Have Clem get the gun first. After the Walker tackles her, look at the Walker and press the triangle button. When Clem exits the door, look at the display stand to warn her.
After Lee comes to, press X to kick the bat over to Clem. After she takes out the Walker, you’ll have one final and emotional conversation with Clem.
