Borderlands 2 is a helluva polished game, which is impressive given that it takes a good 50 hours to complete the game the first time around and even longer still the following times, due to the fact that enemies begin to offer much more of a challenge.
In any case, it’s a big game, and it’s polished—but even so, there’s a number of bugs that managed to slip past Gearbox’s Q&A team that’ve found their way onto this list of glitches that would arguably hurt the experience were it not for the fact that the game’s just too damn fun for any of us to care about the fact that they’re glitches. Unless they actually “break” the game, that is—which most of them don’t.
While some of the glitches here expose the game’s imperfections, a couple of them (just sure to keep clicking that ‘next slide’ button) can be exploited for maximum awesomeness. Useful, if you’ve no qualms with being a little sneaky about how you progress through the game.
With any luck, Gearbox will have them fixed up whenever they patch the game up with new content.
Without further ado, here are the glitches we’ve managed to discover in Borderlands 2.
If you’ve played the game for awhile there’s a good chance you’ve had this happen to you. Sometimes, physics on Pandora just doesn’t work like it’s supposed to.
This glitch won’t make you rich but it’ll sure as hell get you thrown out of the map.
Like the previous glitch, here’s what you can do to get out of the map in Frostburn Canyon.
You’re gonna need a friend to this one. If you’d like to duplicate your items, force-quitting the game as you complete a trade allows you to duplicate everything you were trading with your friend.
Tired of being stuck at a low level? This glitch will allow you to gain 150,000 XP as much as you want.
