Assassin’s Creed III Achievement Walkthroughs

AC 3 Achievements

Leave no stone unturned, no chest unopened, no cave unmapped—and most of all, unlock every achievement. Assassin’s Creed 3 is full of achievements for you to unlock, not all of which are as easy as simply completing the game. Here’s a series of walkthroughs to help you on your way.

House Party Achievement

We’ll begin close to the beginning of the game with the House Party Achievement. It’s something you’re going to have to do before you get to anything else—pretty much.

Once you’ve settled into the game, you can found a Homestead and live the American Dream. The first thing you’ll need to do is to recruit Artisans to settle down in the Homestead and help you build it up and make it thrive. One of them can be found in need of your help in the frontier as his carriage is beset by bandits. Help him out and he’ll help you out in return.

Tumblehome Achievement

Your homestead’s not the only thing that’s going to need upgrading. As the game isn’t set on land alone, you’ll have to travel by sea, by means of the Aquila. Upgrade it, and you’ll unlock this achievement.

Monopoly Man Achievement

Once you’ve built up your Homstead, you can send trade convoys to Boston, New York, and the Frontier to build your income.

Prince of Thieves Achievement

You’re no Robin Hood, but you’re certainly a Prince of Thieves. At least, that’s what the achievement says you are. Attack a Templar convoy for this slick achievement.

Bring Down the House Achievement

Exploring the entirety of Fort Walcott will grant you this achievement. You’ll need to explore every nook and cranny of the place before you unlock it.

Remember to speak to Peg Leg to learn about his trinkets while you’re there. When you find the trinket regarding Lucky Lem, visit the now unlocked area using the Aquila. Complete the area, and it will unlock during the final cutscene.

Coureur des Bois Achievement

So you’ve spent some time in the woods and you’ve accumulated numerous pelts. It’s time to offload those pelts for some cash. Why not unlock an achievement while you’re at it? If you visit each of the stores in each of the locations to sell your pelts, you’ll unlock the Coureur des Bois achievement. That’s French for “woodsman”.

This guide should show you where each of the stores you need to find are.

Eye Witness Achievement

It’s a wild, wild world out there—one full of predators and prey. Witness a predator killing its prey for this achievement. Simple enough.

Spit Roast Achievement

Approach enemies armed with muskets and turn their weapons against them for the Spit Roast achievement. Fort Walcott’s a pretty good place to do this.

Predator Achievement

You’re just like Batman, except you kill your enemies instead of leaving them tied up for the police to find. Murder them—five, at least—with the rope dart for this achievement.

Kidd Gloves Achievement

Perhaps one of the harder things to accomplish in the game—or at least one of the more difficult achievements to unlock—is to uncover the secret of Oak Island. If you’re having trouble with the mission, this walkthrough will set you straight.
