Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 Launcher Weapons Guide

Launchers in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 have a variety of uses during the game: they can be used to take out air support, eliminate a large group of enemies and during multiplayer dispose of campers hiding in small rooms and location with limited space. Overall we’re looking at a weapon category sporting the highest damage rates, range and accuracy of the game with obviously extremely low fire rates: as a downside no attachment can be used on these weapons and the launcher without lock-on capability require some good aiming by the user.  Weapons listed in alphabetical order just like in our other Black Ops 2 weapon guides.

  • FHJ-18 AA

This rocket launcher features an over-the shoulder guiding system, allowing to lock on vehicles and turrets with easy. A pretty standard rocket launcher. Holds 1-3 rounds in standard capacity and it’s available after completing five challenges on the Achilles’ Veil challenge. No attachment can be used with this weapon

  • FIM-92 Stinger

A rocket launcher with a large chamber with the ability of using lock on on enemies and make missile explode during flight. Other than this, the Stinger has overall balanced stats. Holds 1-19 rounds in standard capacity and it’s available after completing 5 challenges during the Suffer With Me mission. No attachment can be used on this weapon.

  • RPG

A rocket launcher mounted on the characters’ shoulder with a free fire ability and the highest damage rate of the category at the cost of a total lack of lock on. Holds 1-9 rounds in standard capacity and it’s available after completing the Suffer With Me mission. No attachment can be used with this weapon

  • RPG-7

Your basic rocket launcher: it has the same high damage and low range and accuracy stats of the RPG and even the same ammo capacity. Choose whichever you like. Holds 1-9 rounds in standard capacity and it’s available after completing the Karma mission. No attachments can be used with this weapon

  • SMAW

Just like the FHJ-18 AA, the SMAW rocket launcher can lock onto vehicles and turrets with a slighlty better mobility and overall improved stats. If you’re up against vehicles this is your weapon of choice. Holds 1-3 rounds in standard capacity and it’s available after completing the Judgement Day mission. No attachment can be used with this weapon
