Hitman: Absolution Melee Weapons Guide Part 2

If you prefer the good feeling of taking out targets in very short range, melee weapons are made just for you. Hitman: Absolution features a good range of melee weapons and we’ll continue analyzing them in this guide.

• Book

As you could expect, you can use the book to hit enemies from the front and back or use it as a distraction or even as a projectile weapon. The book can be found in the A Personal Contract, Rosewood and One Of A Kind missions.

• Bottle

The Bottle is another kind of melee weapons: you can kill targets with a bottle by smashing it on a target’s head, both from the front or the back. Like other melee weapons and objects, it can be used as a projectile weapons. There are two types of bottles in the game however the difference is only in appearance, both bottle types work in the same identical way. The bottle can be found in The King Of Chinatown, Terminus, Run For Your Life, Hunter and Haunted, Welcome to Hope, Shaving Lenny, Dexter Industries, Death Factory, Fight Night, Attack Of The Saints, Operation Sledgehammer and Blackwater Park.

• Brick

A brick is a brick and there’s nothing out of the ordinary about it: they can be used as projectiles or smashed on targets’ heads from the front or behind. The brick can be found in A Personal Contract, The King Of Chinatown, Terminus, Shaving Lenny, Attack Of The Saints, Operation Sledgehammer, Countdown, Absolution missions.

• Cleaver

The meat cleaver works in a slightly different way than other melee weapons: it can be used for stealth kills only from behind. It can also be used to kill an enemy with a few strikes but with a high chance of rising an alert. The Cleaver can be found in the Hunter and Haunted, Fight Night, Attack Of The Saints, Operation Sledgehammer.

• Coffee Mug

The Coffee mug works as all the others breakable melee weapons: it can be smashed on a target’s neck when used from the back and on the target’s face when used in front. When used as a projectile, it can only be thrown once. The Coffee Mug can be found in the A Personal Contract, Death Factory, Blackwater Park and Countdown missions,
