  • Sneaking Tips

While Lara has all the right tools and skills at her disposal for a direct confrontation with enemies, some stealth plays actually works wonder in Tomb Raider. Sneaking behind enemies and taking them down unseen is safer and quicker and at times even more satisfying. If you approach an enemy unseen and get behind them, Lara will be able to perform a silent takedown. If getting close to enemies isn’t an option, you can use your bow to do it: make sure to headshot enemies since any other shot will alert enemies and not even kill your target. If you notice the target moving make sure you cancel the shot by releasing the aim button. When picking up targets for stealth takedowns it’s better to pick isolated enemies first: if an enemy is killed with another in the vicinity you will still end up alerting them. If you get close to a couple of close enemies you will have the chance to take them down both using stealth takedowns but you will have to be really quick about it.
