Square Enixs Comic Con Showcase Includes Barret from Final Fantasy VII Remake, and More

Update: As many readers have pointed out to me, the Barret model is from Advent Children, not the FFVII remake. I apologize for the error.

This year's San Diego Comic Con has been a blast, from all accounts. Many video game studios had booths at the event, where they showcased their upcoming games and a host of must-have merchandise that geeks and gamers will soon be able to buy, if they aren't available already.

Among notable attendees was Square Enix, which showcased a bunch of collectibles from its Play Arts Kai lineup, including characters from DC's Batman and Konami's Metal Gear Solid franchises. They also showed off collectibles from their own video games, including Tomb Raider's Lara Croft and characters from the Final Fantasy series, which came in the form of plushies as well as vinyl toys.

The company posted photos of the collectibles at the event, all of which you can see below.

You'll want to scroll all the way to the bottom to check out what Barret from Final Fantasy VII may look like in the upcoming game.
