Watch Dogs ctOS Breaches

When you access the ctOS Towers in Watch Dogs, which you can read about in our guide here, you’ll find that there are corresponding ctOS Breaches for you to collect. As well as helping you achieve 100% in the game, the ctOS Breaches also provide information on strange audio signals. However managing the ctOS Breaches won’t be a walk in the park, the moment you hack the first box or node your presence will be detected and a time limit set. Make your way to each of the boxes and hack them quickly to achieve the objective, any delay and Ubisoft have made it so you’ll have to start all over again. Each of the walkthroughs starts at the ctOS Breach location that you see on your gadget.

Brandon Docks – Umani Technologies Inc. – Time Limit 4:00

To reach the first box location you’ll have to steal a truck and climb the external stairwell. Having hacked it, go to the landing and turn left, then ascend the stairs on the side of the building. The next box is blocked by debris and a propane tank, which you should shoot to access the box. Deal with it and head downstairs. Continue going north while keeping west of the river and you’ll come across the third box behind a fence. There is a forklift close by that can lift you to reach a clear line of sight to the box. Use the forklift to then climb onto nearby scaffolding and shoot another propane tank to clear a line of sight once again, but this time it’s to a nearby camera for hacking the fourth box. The last box is across the water, underneath the bridge. Get there in a hurry to make it within your time limit.

Brandon Docks – Radio Tower – Time Limit 4:30

Once you kick things off with the first hack, turn west and hop on the lift on the left side of the alley. The lift will take you up to the roof, where you should run north and remotely access the box when in range. From here you should head towards the white tower and find a lift of your right. Take the lift up until you can hack the camera on a rooftop in the north, which will enable you to hack the third box. Next you’ll need to descend the forklift and dash north until you find the “Chicago’s Best Latte” sign, where you should hack the camera on the building’s northwest corner. The fourth box is reachable with that camera. To continue, speed west through the alley then turn north and locate the camera above you on the underside of a walkway. When you’ve hacked it, turn the camera left to be able to hack the final box.

Brandon Docks – Umeni Technologies Shipyard – Time Limit 5:10

Starting from the first box, get around the fence to the west and run north. You’ll come across a forklift next to a building’s corner, which will help you access the next box. If you still haven’t got a clear line, shoot the propane tanks. Then return to the ground and make your way to the car park in an easterly direction. Cross the overhang here then turn and hack the camera you’ll see above your level; that camera will grant you access to the third box. Go north from here until you come across the Umeni Technologies logo on your right and then you should see a camera. Take control of this camera and pan it right to view the fourth box. Turn the camera so you can hack the camera fixed to the billboard close by, which lets you hack the last box of this ctOS Breach.

Brandon Docks – Empty Office Space – Time Limit 4:30

The first box can either be hacked using the camera on the streetlight west of the lift, or you can go up the lift to access it directly. If time is an issue using the camera may be the better option here. Once you’ve hacked the box go to the shipyard south of there. If you use the crate in the shipping lift, you’ll be able to reach the second box. The next target is amongst the stack of cargo containers south of the road nearby, approach the stack’s west side and climb it. Head to the open container and jump into it, there you’ll find the box. Climb back out of the cargo containers then cross the road and make use of the cameras on the streetlights in the yard to hack the fourth and fifth boxes.

Brandon Docks – L-Train Rhodes – Time Limit 5:00

The daredevils amongst you will enjoy hacking the first box as it lies on the elevated train tracks, but you still ought to be wary of the trains. Once you’ve completed that task head to the L-train’s Rhodes station and jump over the fence on the west side to find a stairwell that leads to the roof. From the roof you’ll be able to see the box and hack it. Go back down the stairs then run in a northwest direction towards the filtration plant. You should find a scissor lift to lift you up to the next box on an adjacent roof for hacking. Near the scissor lift you should have been some stairs, climb them now and jump over the fence. When you come across the Thyla Pharmaceuticals building, turn right and keep an eye out for some stairs as you dash east. Just before the stairs there will be a streetlight with a camera on it, which will link you to another camera that views the fourth box when you pan it left. Finally you can ascend the stairs and discover the fifth box for this ctOS Breach.
