Metal Detector (Fusion Rifle only)

Increased chance for ammo drops

This Mod makes sure that you find a higher percentage of special weapon ammo, but you’ll only find it on Uncommon tier fusion rifles, so you’ll likely be using this one while trying to level up and find that Rare weapon.

 

Mulligan

5% chance to reload a round into the magazine per shot

If you’re not so confident in your ability to land a shot without fail every time (and lets face it, who is?) then Mulligan is a great mod that reloads a missed shot into your gun. The 5% chance is a little low for our liking, especially when you could go for a weapon with a larger magazine, but when you get your bullet back it can be a huge advantage.

 

Perfect Balance

+35 Stability, -20 Range

Perfect Balance gives a huge boost to your Stability when aiming, but at a massive Range cost. You might be more into this one if your style of play is a mix between long-range shooting, but with some closer quarters support work thrown in there too.

 

Performance Bonus

25% chance to grant bonus ammo into inventory on a kill

You’ll have to be a bit lucky to get this Mod to trigger, but when you do it gives you a nice boost to your remaining ammo. 6 for pulse rifles, 3 for scouts, 2 for hand cannons, 5 for fusion rifles, 3 for machineguns and 1 for both shotguns and sniper rifles.

 

Private Eye

50% bonus zoom when crouched

Fancy yourself the best sniper in the Cosmodrome? Well Private Eye, which you’ll find on Uncommon and Rare tier weapons, will be quite welcome on your weapon, giving you the right amount of zoom when you need it.

 

Quick Draw

+100 Handling, +10% Ready, +10% Away

Making some very subtle changes to your weapon, Quick Draw is most at home with players who like to sprint around the map, popping off shots whenever they get the chance, as it allows for your weapon to be raised and put away much more quickly.

 

Rangefinder

10% bonus to Range, 20% bonus to damage falloff distance

Perfect if you’re a long-range killer, you’ll be doing the full damage that your weapon can give at a 20% further distance. Meaning that snipers won’t need to risk themselves in order to get a one-shot kill.

This also works quite well with shotguns, as it is great for extending the lethal range of your gun, netting you one-shot kills without needing to be right next to your target.

 

Vacuum

Doubles ammo pick-up radius

A very good Mod for letting you pick up ammo without having to leave cover, or even just to save you time from running over the ammo to pick it up, you’ll only find it on fusion rifles at Legendary tier.

 

Reactive Reload

Reloading after a kill grants 33% bonus damage for three seconds

You’ll only use this in very specific circumstances, but if you find yourself in amongst a group of enemies, killing one and reloading will give you a damage boost for a few seconds in order to take down the rest.

 

Return to Sender

25% chance to add a round to your inventory ammo on a kill

Giving you the opportunity to add insult to injury, Return to Sender will sometimes let you have your fatal bullet back after a kill. Often enough to keep you going and able to take down the rest of a team!

 

Secret Round (Pulse Rifle only)

Missing a shot in a burst grants a fourth round

Just in case you weren’t quite prepared for that burst shot, missing a shot will immediately load up and fire a free extra shot. Hopefully this will mean missing is a little more forgiving.

 

Send It

+50 Range, -30 Magazine and Inventory

You’ll only be able to see this on scout rifles, hand cannons and sniper rifles, but Send It is a powerful Mod that has a fairly major downside. You’ll be able to shoot your targets from a greater distance, but you’ll have much less rounds to do it in. This can be devastating on gun with smaller magazines, so make sure you have plenty of ammo ready nearby.

 

Single Point Sling

+50% Ready and Away, +10% movement speed

Similar to Quick Draw, this Mod will let you draw and put away your weapon much more quickly, while allowing you to run faster in the meantime. The perfect mod for running and gunning.
