The Weekly Wrap-Up

Oh yes that’s right. We’ve got a brand new YouTube series that’s going to be running every single week.

It’s called The Weekly Wrap-Up, weekly because… well it’s every week, and wrap-up because we’re gonna be talking about all the biggest gaming releases and news from the week, as well as telling you guys about all the new stuff that’s happening on the website!

But who are the geniuses behind such an excellent idea?

Meet the Weekly Wrap-Up Team

George

A "posh northerner" from Cheshire, who's obsessed with pub quizzes. He grew up constantly playing Mario kart, which is probably what lead to my love for racing games… and giant mushrooms and plumbing.

Harry

Harry is a larger and louder than life gamer. He's obsessed with The Last of Us and anything to do with surviving the zombie apocalypse… so don’t make an ‘orrible noise and sneak up on him, or you might get hit with a cricket bat. When he's not playing games you can find him watching every show on Netflix.

Brookes

Brookes (Jack Brookes) is a 20 year old history student with an absolutely glorious beard. He enjoys loads of different genres - mainly he likes indie PC Games, but he’s also a big fan of the Halo series and the Grand Theft Auto games, all in all though you can think of him as “the pirate that likes to play” (mainly because of the beard).

Terrifying, but beautiful.

Week #1 Witchers, Bats, Dinosaurs and Scrolls

This week to kick us off first we’re covering The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which sees good old “friendly mutant” Geralt of Rivia strutting his stuff and swinging his sword in a brand new adventure. As usual it involves loads of monster slaying and quests, all using our hero’s stereotypical silver sword.

Next there's Batman Arkham Knight, which has everyone's favourite superhero without any actual super powers Bruce Wayne, who returns with his billions which at this point might just be better spent on upgrading the Gotham police force. But anyway he’s back again to fight off the badguys, but this time he’s got the batmobile!

Then there's the latest installation of the scrolls series - Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, where you can explore and fight in the world with your buddies. It’s a mixture of MMO and the classic Bethesda first person RPG style, and with so many classes to play and areas to explore – it will keep your entertained for ages.

Finally we're taking a look at LEGO Jurassic World, which lets you smash the world of T-Rex and Velociraptors to pieces, and you get to play as dinosaurs, I mean you actually get to be a T-Rex and run around - who doesn’t want to do that? You also get to build stuff too (or else it wouldn’t be a LEGO game)… but to be honest it’s all about being the prehistoric beasts.
