How To Quickly Farm Fuel In Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Making money in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been a problem for some gamers, but gaining fuel resources has been an even bigger problem for other gamers. There’s a quick method available that allows Xbox and PlayStation gamers to farm lots of fuel resources in under 60 seconds.

Chaos_Raiden from N4G pointed to a video from Ekopingviini who found out a fast way to retrieve resources in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain within the span of a minute. The great part about it is that you can keep repeating this method to build up resources as fast as possible. You can check out the video below, which is only a minute and a half long and doesn’t contain any commentary whatsoever.

So basically, you need to do Episode 12: Hellbound. You can replay this mission as much as you want until you have enough resources, but all you’ll need is a fully upgraded Fulton that can wormhole items away.

At the start of the mission you can either kill or Fulton out the guard. From there, run to the top of the structure on your left. At the top of the structure there are a few crates. Fulton them away.

Run to the other side of the facility to the platform adjacent to the one with the crates and get the intel package to trigger a checkpoint.

You should get a checkpoint that saves your progress. As the video shows, once you get the checkpoint you can restart the mission to Fulton out the crates all over again and get even more resources. You can do this all within the span of a single minute. Just rinse and repeat.

This compliments the other method where you can steal the tanks to gain 100,000 GMP per tank. If you’re in need of money that method is great. If you’re in need of fuel resources this method is great.

Ultimately it’s just a quick way to earn some extra cash instead of manually playing through each mission (or replaying missions) to gather up resources. This method for farming fuel resources fast and quick in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain works with the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 version of the game. This tactic has not been patched yet.
