Anyone who wants to rain bullets down on their enemies with a mini-gun in Fallout 4 will be able to do so with the Ashmaker. As its name implies, wastelanders will be able to obliterate their enemies with an onslaught of bullets, which can be found in Goodneighbor.

For those wishing to add the Ashmaker to their collection of weapons will need to go to the city of Goodneighbor. Once you enter the city you will want to go straight and make a right turn until you make it to an alleyway that leads you to a metal door. You will then have to do a job for a ghoul lady named Bobbi, who will give you the quest The Big Dig.

This quest will have you to participate in a dig so that you can kill some Mirelurks in a chasm. After dispatching the Mirelurks in the cave below, Bobbi will come down there and tell you to meet her in Diamond city. After talking to Bobbi in Diamond City you will be given a task to get a guy named Mel out of jail. There will be multiple ways to get him out by either bribing the guards watching him, killing them all and lock picking him out, or hacking a bot to kill everyone to let him out.

Once Mel is to safety and he is recruited to help you down in the dig site near Goodneighbor, you will need to take up another mission from Bobbi so that you can dig to the Strongroom under Diamond city. Mel will have a flying robot that will emit pulses to get through weak parts of dirt to get around the dig site when pushing through the walls or dirt. Something worth noting, you will come across dead ends, but you will be able to find the end by traveling around the dig site.

You will eventually find another room that isn’t the correct strong room, but another storage room that is owned by John Hancock. From here you will encounter another group that will give you some alternative choices to leave, which will lead to you getting the Ashmaker.

Players can either have Bobbi persuaded by their charisma to leave the storage room so that they can get off of Hancock’s turf, which will lead to getting the Ashmaker, or you can kill Bobbi to get it from the leader of the group named Fahrenheit. The last choice will involve players killing Fahrenheit and looting her to obtain the rare mini-gun.

After choosing either path to get the Ashmaker, you will finally be able to wield it. You can watch a video by JV2017gameplay that shows the process of getting the Ashmaker and the different mods for the weapon.

The Ashmaker holds a base damage of eight, a fire rate of 272, a range of 131, an accuracy of 35, a weight of 27.4 and a value of 1,582. The Ashmaker comes with a fire mod that causes 15 points of fire damage, and it also uses 5mm rounds. Lastly, you can find this weapon from legendary monsters out in the wild, but it’s not guarantee to drop with the  fire mod or the bleed mod.
