There’s a unique shotgun in Fallout 4 that some people have been trying to obtain. The Le Fusil Terrible shotgun can be acquired in a boat inside the Captain’s cabin, at the top of the massive floating Raider camp, or Libertalia. However, this little off-road quest won’t be as easy as some may think.

Paying homage to the unique combat shotgun in Fallout 3 called the Terrible Shotgun — although some say that it should be the “Fusil de Chasse,” but we will refer to it as the Le Fusil Terrible — this devastating firearm can be obtained when you are in Libertalia. To get to this location you will have to go north-east of Boston Airport or far east of Bunker Hill.

Upon proceeding to Libertalia, you will encounter a lot of enemies, and it is advised that you should bring a lot of healing supplies and your best weapons when heading there. After dealing with all of the enemies in the location, or if you already cleared them out, you will need to follow a wooden path with boats to the Captain’s cabin.

Something worth mentioning, don’t take your power armor into the water jumping part, if you do and you mess up, the power armor will sink to the bottom and you won’t be able to get it back depending on the area where you sink in.

After this part, just keep ascending up the main giant boat until you make it to the Captain’s cabin door. From here, walk straight past a safety float and the gun should be on a box near a lantern. If you need to see a visual guide on this, you can check out LoneVaultWanderer‘s video below.

Looking over to the stats of the gun, the Le Fusil Terribles has a base damage of 62, a fire rate of 20, a range of 71, an accuracy of 29, a weight of 15.7, and a value of 389. Lastly, it comes with 25% more damage and limb damage, but it also has extra recoil.
