Become Gotenks’ Apprentice

Everyone’s favorite egotistical runt wants to be your mentor! The first part of Gotenks’ mentor quest in Dragon Ball XenoVerse is much like others in that you simply need to prove your strength by beating the ever loving crap out of the Dragon Ball Z hero. Once you finish this four out of seven stars battle, you’ll get Gotenks as your mentor and potentially some rewards!

• 4,000 zeni
• Med. Mix Capsule
• High Mix Capsule
• Galactic Donuts

Once you’re done, leave and level up to access Gotenks’ next mentor quest.

I’m Strong!

A five out of seven stars battle awaits you with Gotenks’ next request. He wants you to fight Majin Buu and Evil Buu. Oh, great. You’re going to need to completely defeat both of them within five minutes, not just deplete their health. No problem. Completing this quest can potentially get you the following rewards:

• 4,200 zeni
• High Mix Capsule
• Ultimate Mix Capsule
• DIE DIE Missile Barrage

After this ridiculous battle, let’s move on to the third quest in Gotenks’ mentor line. This next one gets harder, if you can believe it.

Ultra Super Ultimate Move!

The next Gotenks mentor quest is the same difficulty rating as the last one, although you’re only fighting Gotenks. The failure condition of not losing all your health is still there, however, he now wants you to defeat him using DIE DIE Missile Barrage. You received this move after the last quest. Do this in under five minutes and you have a chance at these rewards:

• 5,300 zeni
• High Mix Capsule
• Ultimate Mix Capsule
• Energy Crystal
• All-Energy Crystal
• Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack

After this, you only have the final battle to complete Gotenks’ mentor quest line, congratulations!

Mastery

Gotenks’ final mentor battle is six out of seven stars, so a piece of cake if you’ve done Beerus’ or Goku’s quests. Just get his health down within five minutes and you’ll possibly net these rewards:

• 8,500 zeni
• I’ll Beat You Hollow!
• Ultimate Mix Capsule
• Aura Crystal
• All-Aura Crystal
• Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack
