Pharrell Williams will appear on The Simpsons

Pharrell Williams is the latest celebrity to make an appearance in the animated series The Simpsons. In the episode that will air on February 8 in the US, entitled "Walking Big & Tall", residents of Springfield discover that the anthem of the city was copied by many others around the country.
The character Lisa then struggles to create a new theme song for the city and Pharrell comes into play offering to compose the track.
The episode is inspired by a real event that happened in 1980, when a Milwaukee TV channel hired a musician to create the local anthem and discovered that the same song had been sold to other cities.
The 26th season of The Simpsons will feature several other special guests, among them Will Forte and Sarah Silverman actors, and former Van Halen's singer Sammy Hagar.
