Halloween is almost upon us, and our favorite video games are getting in on the spooky action. Case in point, Infamous 2 – Festival of Blood, a standalone DLC package detailing the story of how our hero Cole MacGrath was bitten by a vampire, and his quest to cure himself in a creepy New Marais. Infested with vampires instead of fascist thugs, ice men, and twisted crab monsters — Cole stakes his claim with new weapons and abilities against the various types of vamps he’ll be facing. The lust for blood and Cole’s humanity are what drives the new morality system, as Cole must feed on civilians instead of charging up on electricity to recharge his powers. Prepare for a bloody time in your return trip to New Marais.

1. Here’s Bloody Mary!
After the opening cut scene, follow the on-screen instructions and approach the people on your left who are laying on the ground. Execute a pulse heal and continue down the tunnel ahead to help more victims, then follow the on-screen instructions when you reach the caved-in section to clear the path.
Continue forward while healing downed civilians, then clear away another blockage to enter the next section of the tunnel. Follow the jumping ball of purple light ahead until the cut scene activates.
Afterwards, grind along the train tracks to chase Blood Mary down the tunnel until the next cut scene activates. You can use the jump button during this period to vault over obstacles or switch rails when certain parts of the track or blocked or broken.
Following the cut scene, use melee attacks to takedown the vampire enemy and stake him once he’s laying on the ground. Move towards Blood Mary at the top of the hill ahead and follow the ball of red light she becomes through the catacombs.
Grind on the train tracks when you come across them again until you reach another wave of vampire enemies. Eliminate them using melee attacks and the staking ability, then continue forward into the tunnel and grind the next section of train tracks.
When you are halted by Bloody Mary’s hold over you, approach the torch by the far wall and suck electricity from the circuit board behind it. Continue chasing Bloody Mary by grinding on the train tracks until you reach a corner and are launched forward, then eliminate the attacking wave of vampires and approach the square icon on your map to find the door that leads to the Sea Fort.
Exit the catacombs through the door to complete this level.

2. Welcome to Pyre Night
Follow the on-screen instructions to activate Shadow Swarm and use it to fly over the tall stone wall ahead and activate a cut scene. Afterwards, approach one of the nearby victims and execute a bite on them.
Continue up the road ahead and biting victims you encounter until Zeke calls, then move towards the next objective as indicated by the white-and-red circle on your map. These icons currently represent packs of vampires that you will need to eliminate on the street and rooftop-level.
You can move more quickly between these points by biting victims to increase your blood supply and traveling across the map via the Shadow Swarm. Find the star icon on your map to come across a concert in one of the parks, then approach the stage and press the indicated button to unleash a larger than normal slew of vampire enemies.
Once the vampire pack at the concert is eliminated and Zeke has called, you can continue moving around the city eliminating the packs until you encounter a white trail icon on your map. Follow this trail to a statue in the middle of the park and move around to its front to activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, you will need to defeat a wave of Harpies that will hide in the surrounding area to fire long-range weapons at you. Find the nearest power source to recharge and use the red icons on your map to locate the enemies in their firing positions.
Enter aim mode, then use your electricity bolts and power punches to knock the Harpies out of the trees or off of the telephone wires above. Recharge your health in between each attack so that you avoid the threat of defeat while moving between enemies.
After the harpies are eliminated and Zeke has called, continue eliminating the packs of vampires around the city until you encounter another white trail on the map that leads to the clocktower.
Approach the base of the tower, on the side where the puppet show booth has been set up, then press the indicated button to activate a cut scene and complete the mission

3. The Barbed Cross
Approach the story mission icon to locate the cemetery and a big red star on the map that represents Bloody Mary. She will disable you if attacked and unleash a small wave of vampires, so ignore her for now unless you need to chalk up a few more shakedowns.
Enter the cemetery and find the story mission icon on top of one of the crypts to activate a cut scene. Afterwards, fend off any nearby zombies that have been created and move to an area that has a high consistency of street lamps so that you can recharge your health quickly.
Watch the surrounding area to track the Firstborn’s teleportation path, then enter aim mode when the creature pauses to attack you and fire upon him repeatedly with the power punch until he retreats. Refill your electricity supply and wait for the Firstborn to appear again, then continue your assault until he is defeated.
Afterwards, move towards the star icon on the map to investigate the tomb of Ignacius and suffer another mind control attack from Blood Mary. When you regain control, hold down the indicated button to enter Vampire Vision and follow the trail left by the smoky apparition.
Continue following the creature’s previous path until you exit the cemetery and enter an alley across the street, then break the Canopic Blood Jar you come across and return to Vampire Vision. When the trail goes cold, you will need to discover which of the party-goers around you is disguised as the First Born you are tracking.
Use Vampire Vision to study each of the surrounding civilians until you spot one without the reddish glow of body temperature. Approach the completely blue skeleton and exit Vampire Vision, then press the indicated button to stake this person and expose the First Born.
Track the next thief by using Vampire Vision again and leave the alley by moving up a set of steps, then take out the Harpies that appear by using aim mode and continue following the trail. When you reach the cook-out area, take down another wave of vampires and harpies that appears before returning to Vampire Vision.
Follow the trail of the thief until you can enter the door that leads into the catacombs. Once inside, use Vampire Vision to continue tracking the First Born back into the train tunnel and eliminate another wave of enemies.
Afterwards, continue down the tunnel along the path being left by the First Born until you see that the creature flew onto the next ledge above. Climb up the wall to reach the same ledge and return to Vampire Vision, then follow the trail across a bridge and eliminate another wave of vampires.
Climb the next ladder along the path of smoke you’re following and continue tracking the First Born to eliminate another wave of enemies. Use Vampire Vision to investigate the end of the path and fall through the crumbling floor, then face-off with the First Born when you land in the train tunnel below.
Use attacks from aim mode to disable the First Born and eventually stake it, then pick up the Barbed Cross the creatures dropped to activate a cut scene and complete the mission.

4. Mary’s Teachings
After completing the “Barbed Cross” mission, use Vampire Vision to reveal the glyphs ahead and approach them.
Follow the arrow painted on the wall and cross the next bridge on the right, then move in the direction of the next arrow and heads towards the glyph on your left.
Follow the glyph arrows on the wall and floor to reach the next balcony ahead, then jump over the railing to the ground below and turn right.
Stare at the glyph using Vampire Vision until you have deciphered the symbol to hear the teachings of Mary and complete the mission.
You can locate the remainder of Mary’s teachings by searching for arrows painted along the rooftops, in the cemeteries and on the large church at the center of town.

5. Secrets
After completing a UGC challenge, move towards the story icon on the map to locate and activate the mission waiting for you on the street corner. Move towards the star icon that appears to locate the entrance to the catacombs by the church, then enter through the door.
Make your way to the left towards the white map icon and enter the tunnel, then grind the rails to move forward until a cut scene activates. Afterwards, move through the doorway that has appeared and destroy the engine next to the dumbwaiter with a melee attack.
Exit the room and make right to continue down the tunnel by grinding the tracks, then activate Vampire Vision to reveal the glyphs and clues along the way.
Eliminate the pack of Harpies you encounter by using various attacks in aim mode, then continue forward down the tunnel until you see an arrow pointing upwards on the left.
Climb the wall where the upwards arrow is painted and move through the hidden doorway on your left, then destroy the dumbwaiter’s engine and exit the room.
Jump back down to the tunnel system below and make a left along the tracks, then eliminate the wave of vampires in the next room by taking out the harpies first and consistently refilling your electricity supply with the fluorescent lights scattered around the area.
Use Vampire Vision to locate the hidden doorway in the corner of the area, then enter the secret room and destroy the dumbwaiter’s engine.
Return to the tunnel system and make a left, then grind the next set of tracks ahead and continue following the arrow glyphs.
When you reach the room where there’s the track suddenly turns to the left, disengage from it and move forward towards the upper left corner. Make your way through the hidden door to destroy the engine and pick up the key to the Coven Room.
Exit the room and make a right into the next tunnel, then grind the rails until the track comes to an end and quickly eliminate another wave of vampires using melee attacks and aim mode.
Enter the next tunnel ahead and move a short distance forward, then turn left when you see the arrow indicating to do so and climb onto the ledge above.
Approach the large door marked by a star on your map to unlock the entrance to the coven, then move forward and open the chest to complete the mission.

6. Blood Fight
After exiting the catacombs, head towards the story icon on the map to locate and activate the next mission on the rooftop garden by Zeke. After the cut scene, use your Shadow Swarm ability to fly after the creature that’s indicated by the star icon on your map.
Continue flying after the First Born and eliminating the clusters of vampires that surround each area. If you run out of the necessary blood to activate the Shadow Swarm, then quickly move into a populated area to find a victim or break open one of the blood jars scattered around the map.
Stay close to the First Born or a timer will appear that indicates how long you have before losing the trail. When the creatures stays in the same area for an extended period of time, use the opportunity to blast him and any surrounding vampires with power punches.
Continue attacking the First Born until he escapes after Blood Mary activates your vampire sense, then use Shadow Swarm to follow him to the entrance of the bridge under construction. After you are possessed by Mary again, use aim mode to take down the First Born and stake him.
Pick up the Barbed Cross to activate a cut scene and complete the mission.

7. Control
Approach the story icon to locate and activate the next mission on the rooftop with a bonfire statue.
After the cut scene, fend off any surrounding enemies and follow Mary around the statue to keep track of her. Stay at a distance or jump away from her whirlwind attack and fire on her repeatedly using aim mode, then wait until there is a pause in the assault and sprint towards her.
Strike Mary with a melee attack to cause her to retreat, then follow her using Shadow Swarm and continue the assault within the cemetery. Fend off the zombies as you chase Mary through the cemetery and jump on top of the crypts as a shortcut in case she gets too far ahead.
When Mary stops to attack you again, repeat the previous tactic to strike her with the barbed cross and follow her out of the cemetery.
When she stops on the next rooftop, hang off the ledge in front of her and wait until she finishes the whirlwind attack before climbing up to execute a melee strike.
Follow Mary into the concert area and land on the metal structure above the stage, then drop down and execute a ground pound melee strike on her.
After she retreats again, trail Mary to the statue outside the church and look up at her to execute an Ionic Storm and activate a cut scene.
Afterwards, eliminate the vampires that approach by using aim mode to fry multiple enemies at once by shooting the water they emerge from. Watch the map to take out enemies that come up from behind with melee strikes, then return to the water ahead and electrocute the next wave of vampires.
When you have held off the waves of vampires for a few moments, Mary will appear on the ledge you’re guarding. Try to move in for a melee strike as soon as she lands and return to the hordes of vampires after her retreat.
Continue fighting off the vampires by electrocuting the water they wade through to approach you and strike Mary whenever she appears on the scene.
Take care of the harpies and enemies that throw long-range weaponry immediately when they arrive and use the power supplies on either side of the area to ensure your survival.
Completely drain Mary’s health after the explosives have been rigged to activate a cut scene. Afterwards, push your way through the sunlight to climb the steps ahead and reach Zeke at the top to complete the game.
