Legends of Loot Walkthrough [Guide]
Legends of Loot is a game that is part-maze exploring and part-betting game, as your earnings depend on how good you are at crossing the various levels, collecting treasures, and fighting the various monsters that you meet along the way. It is a fun and enjoyable game that will force you to always be at the top of your game as you complete several different challenges for each exciting stage.
Currency
There are three types of currencies within Legends of Loot. These are coins, crystals, and upgrade tokens, and each serves their own unique purpose within the game.
Coins are the game’s primary currency. These can be collected in various mazes, and these can also be won while making and winning wagers. Of course, you would also lose coins if you do not reach these objectives. If you do not have coins, then you will not be able to make wagers.
Crystals are the premium currency in Legends of Loot. These can be used to purchase special items that can make your character stronger. You begin the game with only one crystal, and additional crystals need to be purchased using real life currency.
Upgrade tokens are powerups that you can apply to your character’s items in order to make them stronger. Ten crystals will earn you one upgrade token, and at least two upgrade tokens are required in order to improve items.
World
The World within Legends of Loot are divided into four main sections, and you will be starting with the area named Crushing Sands. Here, there are several locations that are further divided into several levels where your character must enter mazes and exit them while collecting treasures, avoiding obstacles, and fighting monsters. Depending on how you perform, you can earn from one to three stars, and you must earn at least a specific number of stars before the next location would open up. If you do not have enough stars yet, then simply replay other levels in order to come up with the necessary number.
Mazes
Players will have to cross through different mazes in order to complete each level. Here, players will find several obstacles such as spikes and other traps, and it also integrates other puzzle like elements such as the use of switches in order to have effects like having a gate close or open. All areas of the maze are dark unless your character gets to it, where that particular area and its surroundings would get illuminated once it happens.
There are also treasure chests and other types of loot to collect strewn all over the mazes, so players must make it a point to get them as these are a great source of coins. Of course, there would be monsters that you would have to battle along the way, too, and this is discussed thoroughly in the next section
Monsters
Monsters, or baddies, will be encountered within the mazes. Players can either flee, at the cost of one life, or fight, which would change the screen to battle mode. They can also have other players bargain for them, so that they could live to fight another day.
In fighting, you and the monster will be attacking each other. Attacking monsters will involve slicing at them by swiping at the touch screen. Players must only touch the yellow dots while swiping in a single motion, as touching the red dots will damage you instead. If you find yourself low on health, then you can opt to use potions which would help replenish your health. Continue slicing and healing yourself until the monster is defeated. Different monsters, especially those at higher level mazes, will be much more powerful, and the yellow dots will change position quite quickly, so it is a good idea to focus on improving both your characters as well as your finger speed before taking on these more powerful baddies and wagering your coins in an uphill battle.
Wagers
Players will be allowed to wager that they can complete certain achievements even before they begin each level. These can range from finishing the levels without getting damaged, collecting a certain number of loot, or defeating a certain number of monsters. It is then your task to perform these before exiting the maze. Success in doing so will earn you both XP and coins, while failure to meet these objectives will result in you losing the same. Also, make it a point not to die as you will automatically lose all wagers even though you have completed them prior to dying.
Thus, it is recommended that you do not wager on all bets during your first run, so that you can get acclimated with the level first and see if your character is good enough to complete all objectives. If you’re quite confident that you can reach the set goals, then you simply have to replay the game. this gives you a slightly lower chance of losing your hard earned coins.
Social Menu
Legends of Loot allows players to add friends who are also playing the game. adding friends earns you XP, and they can also help you when fighting with monsters as they can bargain with them. Lastly, they can bring you back from the dead when you die in a maze, enabling you to complete the level. Without friends, a retry will cost you either a thousand coins or one crystal.
Conclusion
Legends of Loot from Majesco Entertainment is a fun game that offers a lot of fun for everyone. You are forced to improve on your character in order to unlock levels, and nothing brings out your pride better than being able to achieve all set objectives set for each level. The combat system with monsters are good enough to warrant its own game, and add to that the quirkily designed characters, the challenging mazes, and of course, the great wagering system that is all tied up together in one neat package and you have a quality game that both betting and non-betting gamers would surely enjoy.
