The Elder Scrolls VI: Argonia Better Than Skyrim?

The Elder Scrolls might just be one of the most anticipated Role Playing Game (RPG) and the series is already very popular in the gaming community. Bethesda are to thank for this wonderful game and the Elder Scrolls is as you would expect, a fast paced role playing game in line with other products from this studio such as Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind.

Bethesda exponentially outdid themselves in Skyrim and had automatically increased expectations when for their audience and lovers of open world landscapes in RPGs.

The recent Skyrim trailer was so dramatic a large number of devoted fans confessed to slightly tearing while watching it. The big question however still remains, what does The Elder Scrolls have in store on PS4, XBOX One and PC and will it be able to outdo Skyrim in terms of gameplay and reception. Devoted fans are keen to find out whether The Elder Scrolls will be similar to Skyrim or whether it will go back to Bethesda’s roots and follow the likes of Morrowind.

Despite releasing a trailer, it is still unclear whether The Elder Scrolls will give the audience what most fans have demanded as “embracing the roots of the series” or whether it will follow in the footsteps of Skyrim.

The most obvious source of excitement will be the map size. Previous installments have seen the open world increase in size and detail while combining some elements from previous installments. Many fans are demanding that the map should combine all the elements in Oblivion, Morrowind and Skyrim and narrow down to both Argonia and Elsweyr. Argonia is regarded as home of the Argonians and it is also referred to as the Black Marsh.

A number of possibilities are however still up for speculation and these are such as: Will The Elder Scrolls be a Sequel to Skyrim? What changes in the games system will differ from Skyrim, a title which many gamers termed as the perfect game. If the Elder Scrolls happens to be a sequel, then the game’s publishers might have to work on the titles but at the moment, no one seems to be complaining.

A large section of fans are not too amused about the game been multiplayer. This was perhaps a move by Bethesda to make the game more enjoyable and it seems they were not ready to leave anything to chance. The Elder Scrolls VI is yet to receive an official announcement from the game’s publishers and as a result, the Internet if full of fan speculation and actual game facts are hard to come by.

Bethesda has used previous games to hint of its possible future releases. The Argonian people in Skyrim are reptile-like and speculation has it that their inclusion in The Elder Scrolls VI will mean that the game might be based around or close to a large swamp.

There is a huge expectation from the PC gaming community on the possibility of a sequel for Skyrim and most fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to explore the much awaited the Elder Scrolls universe.
