E3 2015 Update – Respawn Entertainment Confirms Titanfall 2 is Not Coming

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, simply known as E3 2015 is here and it is going to take place in mid-June.

Respawn entertainment has confirmed that they are not going to talk about Titanfall 2 yet.

In their latest statement to the media, the developers, who were originally part of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare team, confirmed that they are really excited about attending E3 2015 this year. The game developer’s conference is not only the largest in the world but has also been the prestigious platform where next gen consoles like PS4, Xbox One were shown off.

It also focuses on everything gaming. What has been a console only event for many years where developers hardly talk about PC even though most titles are multi-platform, AMD in association PC Gamer is going to host the first ever PC Gaming Show this year.

Respawn’s Statement

“Just like every other developer, we are really excited and just can’t wait to attend E3 2015 this year. It is one great event to participate, whether we have something to show or not,” said Vince Zampella on his official Twitter account.

The Respawn boss confirmed that they don’t have anything ready to show at the event this year which indirectly confirms that Titanfall 2 is not coming. “We are actually coming to see other games made by some great developers and we simply relish the fun but Respawn is not going to take the stage to show any,” he concluded.

E3 Show

Respawn will be one of the people who takes the stage during Electronic Arts press conference on June 16. EA was the one who published the game at first and they will publish Titanfall 2 as well. The company has also confirmed that it is going to be a multi-platform game. The first edition was only on Xbox and PC but the new one is coming to Playstation 4 consoles much to the delight of gamers. Being a multiplayer game, it will obviously lead to a stupendous increase in the number of players when made available on multiple consoles and PC at once. However, there is no word on support for cross platform play.

A lot of big titles will be announced at E3 2015 and Doom 4 has already been confirmed by Bethesda. The developer may also bring Elder Scrolls 6 or Fallout 4 but everything is purely a rumor at the moment.
