Fallout 4 Character Spotted in Fallout Shelter, the iOS Game

When you take a look at Fallout Shelter, the iOS game which is scheduled to come to Android soon, it might probably look like a standalone title.

The game play strategies and the storyline are very similar, where you have to help people survive within a shelter. Your job is to help them get food, a place to stay in the many rooms inside the shelter and make sure they are comfortable so that they could make babies to ensure the human race survives. But, there were hardly any characters from the original game spotted in this mobile title except for the pip-boy avatar making random appearances. After a couple of weeks, for the first time a fallout 4 character has made its way to the game in the form of lunch boxes.

Leader of the Minutemen

It is not just a random character but the leader of the common wealth minute men has finally made an appearance in Fallout Shelter. His name is Preston Garvey who is a popular and a significant person in Fallout 4. He has been added to the tiny mobile game in the form of cards that shows him as a dweller and he is considered as one of the special characters to be owned.

The reward comes in the form of lunch boxes which is similar to daily gems, gold and other resources that you might have seen in many iOS and Android games. However, Bethesda likes you to know that they have no attention to milk money out of gamers with Shelter. Rather, it is a fun game based on the franchise and does have in-game purchases but doesn’t mean you have to keep paying to enjoy the title. Lunch boxes are given randomly which has some unique gifts, but you can also buy them by paying real cash.

Android Version

According to the developers Bethesda, the Android version of Fallout Shelter is nearing completion and should be out soon. The game has already broken a lot of records and has even smashed the ones set by Clash of Clans, one of the most popular strategy titles on mobile platforms. The Fallout 4 launch has boosted Shelter without a doubt but being a good title, it managed to stand on its own without having to rely on the huge franchise. The original title is scheduled for a November launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
