Bethesda developed a free-to-play mobile simulation video game called Fallout Shelter, which is part of the Fallout series. First, it was released for iOS devices, in Mid-June and the Android devices will get it next month. Recently, the game received its first update which brought a new photo feature and some repairs to the Vault air filters.
In Fallout Shelter, you will build a Vault and manage it. You will need to make sure that the people in the Vault are happy and, in the same time, you’ll rescue dwellers from the wasteland and give them assignments, as they will need to generate different forms of resources using the seven statistics: Agility, Charisma, Endurance, Intelligence, Luck, Perception and Strength, from the SPECIAL set of stats that you can find in the other Fallout games. To improve the skills of a dweller, you will need to train him, and once he levels up, he gets new items and weapons which he will need when he will be sent out to look for survivors or to defend the vault against raiders and dangerous creatures.
You can pair dwellers, allow them to have babies and you’ll name them. However, until now there were some problems with the pair filters, which were causing the women to fail delivering babies and the developers fixed this issue, so the mothers’ labor is no longer a nightmare.
In the first update of Fallout Shelter, the overseers can record odd behaviors of the dwellers using the new photo feature, and you can share your observations with those who live outside of your Vault. If you’ll do that, you won’t be replaced.
The developers worked also on a glitch that was causing the Vault to shut down out of the sudden and they said that the issue with the capacitors inside various aspects of the simulation has been fixed also.
Regarding Fallout 4, Doom and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited games, they’re expected to be presented at the QuakeCon 2015 event, which will take place between 23 and 25 July.
