Halo 5 Animated Series ‘Fall of Reach’ Gets an Intro Trailer

Halo 5 Guardians is easily one of the game titles that you couldn’t miss and after seeing the Fall of Reach trailer, anyone who doesn’t even own an Xbox One might consider buying it.

The problem with exclusives is that they are so good and any real gamer wouldn’t want to miss them. Uncharted 4 is one amazing PS4 exclusive coming in 2016, but Halo 5 is coming real soon in the month of October. It is not just a popular game with a good storyline wound around it, but also has a lot of branches spread in terms of animated series and movies. The new “Fall of Reach” is one such series which reveals the hidden story of Master Chief and his association with the Blue Team.

Revealing the Hidden Secrets

Based on the teasers revealed so far, Master Chief is now on an unauthorized mission and there are Spartans out there ready to shoot him on sight. He is on a great expedition to save the world but he has been stamped as a traitor by everyone else. A lot of unanswered questions are there, including the ones related to Halo 4 that got launched on Xbox 360.

Instead of trying to put everything into the one single player campaign, Microsoft and developer 343 Industries has took a different route. An exclusive series, by James Cameroon came out and there’s another produced by Steven Spielberg. This one is an animated series which is strongly influenced by a novel released more than a decade ago. The 2001 released novel was written by Erik Nylund and had the same name.

From Book to Animated Series

The game developers have confirmed that for readers who have already read the entire novel and many related to the Halo Universe, there might be slight changes in order to facilitate a better narration. However, they also added that the soul of the popular novel will be intact in the animated series, which will introduce the players to a whole new world and answer some of the puzzling questions of the past.

Halo 5 Guardians is coming soon and players who are looking forward to it will know what Master Chief does without Cortana in his life. He hardly has anyone to trust even though John is there, but it is the fate of the Blue Team that is in question. It is going to be one interesting series when it comes out.
