Halo 5 Guardians Campaign Clocks at 15 Hours, Double the Size of Halo 4

Microsoft in association with 343 industries has been working hard to ensure Halo 5 Guardians; the celebrated Xbox One exclusive is the best launch.

They have already created a title that rocks in the multiplayer arena, especially with the war zone mode. In this particular mode, two teams with twelve Spartans on each side compete against each side. What makes it exceptionally interesting is that on the same battlefield, which is supposedly huge, there will be other enemy AI opponents as well as bosses to fight. The developers are not going to leave the single player campaign unattended.

15 Hours of Gameplay

Critics and gamers confirmed that this could easily be the longest single player campaign in the Halo series. The new Halo 5 Guardians campaign promises to deliver over 15 hours of gameplay so that players have enough time to invest in the character and the world. Besides, it is rumored to be the last in the series for Master Chief. The additional time will allow developers to reveal what happened to this pivotal character who seems to have gone rogue in this new game.

Compared to Halo 4, the new campaign is at least half the size and exceptionally large for a first person shooter. Games like Fallout 4, Witcher 3 and Skyrim, may have campaigns that could run for hundreds of hours. But, they are never meant for multiplayer matches and doesn’t have a riveting storyline as this one. It is much more cinematic and engaging in a short span of time. Besides, first person shooters are entirely different from RPGs in terms of gameplay.

Official Soundtrack Leaked

In other news, before its official reveal, the official soundtrack of the game and Master Chief theme got leaked. Microsoft later admitted that they are original music intended to be revealed on the big day. They expressed their discontent and said in a statement that leaks are always unfortunate. While it might make 343 industries feel bad about themselves, the fans are a company, and it’s a viral content now, all over the web.
