Alien: Isolation guide: Mission 8 Walkthrough

Mission 8: Haven

Your first objective this mission is to Get to SCIMED Transit Station. Exit the elevator and take the first right you reach, using the lever to open the door. Head inside and down the stairs before turning to your left. Fire up your Access Tuner to open the door and move forward and turn left. Follow the large set of stairs down to trigger a cut scene.

Once you regain control you’ll be asked to Get to Transit Control. Head across the room and up the stairs just to the left of the save game terminal, passing under the Towerlink Transit System sign and going through the door along the leftmost wall. Use your Maintenance Jack to unlock the door and then hop onto the elevator.

Once you reach Transit Control and step off the elevator you’ll receive an updated objective to Reactive the Transit at the Main Console. Grab the Flashbang V.2 from the table and walk to the middle of the room, choosing the option to Use on the keyboard. This will result in the system being locked out and someone will enter the area to investigate. Take out this threat quietly, because that’s how you should take out everyone in this game. Noise attracts scary things with two mouths and long tails. With the enemy down move to the corner right below the elevator and interact with the lever here. Now you’ll need to move around the room in a counterclockwise pattern and Use the console on the far side of the room. As soon as this is done prepare to deal with a very concerned Working Joe. We know, we said not to use loud weapons but hand to hand just isn’t a good idea when it comes to dealing with Androids. We used our revolver to take the Synthetic out, and luckily we weren’t ambushed by a very angry Xenomorph.

Now head back to the center of the room and interact with the main console to complete your objective Reactivate the Transit at the Main Console. Now your objective will update to Get Back to Transit Station, which would normally mean you’d just backtrack the way you came and call it a day, however, the elevator is down for the count and you’re going to need to find another route.

Head down the stairs and into the door which the Working Joe exited, loot the dead body inside and then head through the open door to see a second dead body. Grab the Gas Torch from the table and make expert use of the save game terminal before backtracking to the control room.

Head back up the stairs and beeline for the panel along the wall nearby. Choose the option t Use Gas Torch and cut through the panel covering the vent. Climb in and follow the shaft to its exit, turning left once you emerge and using the level to open the nearby door. Now follow the stairs back down to update your objective to Take the Transit Car to Solomons Habitation Tower.

Head over to Towerlink 02 and call the transit. This will trigger several humans to enter the area to investigate. You can take these enemies out if you want, but remember the golden rule of dealing with a Xenomorph situation – Noise attracts bad things. We suggest hiding in a locker until they leave and then boarding the transit.

After a short cut scene your objective will update to Regroup with Samuels and the Marshals, then shortly after to Get to Colonial Marshal Bureau.

Step off the transit and save your game using the terminal on your right. Now head up the nearby stairwell, passing under the Solomons Galleria sign and into the next room. After entering the next room hang a slight right and head through the door under the colonial Marshals sign and through the next room and up the stairs. Chat with one of the Marshals in the next room and once you’re done your objective will update to Talk to Marlow. Head to the back right corner of the room and speak with him to move onto the next mission.
