Halo 5: Guardians - Intel and Skulls: Mission 8: Swords of Sanghelios

Halo 5: Guardians is now available for all Xbox One owners to enjoy, and with its release comes collectibles. The game has two forms of collectibles to obtain: Intel and Skulls. Intel is scattered throughout each mission in Halo 5, while skulls will only be found for those who are committed to investigating every inch of each level in order to obtain.

We’ve gone through the trouble of documenting the locations of all of the Intel and Skulls in every mission in Halo 5. If you want to hunt the truth, you’re going to want to obtain all of these collectibles.

Mission 8: Swords of Sanghelios

Mythic Skull:

When exiting the Sanghelios Ruins, turn to your right and climb to the top of the archway. From there you need to equip the Maintain Sprint option in the settings and jump across the pillars to grab the Mythic Skull at the end.

Intel 1/12: Ceremonial Sword 3/6

Jump onto the rocks to your right just after you spawn into the mission, and head over to the structure coming out of the Cliffside. This piece of Intel is resting at the top of the steps.

Intel 2/12: Patrol Log - Scout 'Ghattam

Walk through the river, and as you get your first glimpse of the faroff city, make your way to the ruins right as the river enters the enclosed area. Travel all the way to the back left and you’ll find this piece of Intel hiding under the rock next to the dead Elite soldier.

Intel 3/12: Ceremonial Sword 1/6

After defeating the enemies in the first area, drop down into the nearby waterfall to find this sword at the end of a small cavern.

Intel 4/12: Patrol Log - Scout 'Thrun

Look to the right of the Shade Turret in the first area of combat to find this piece of Intel in a small cavern beside a dead Elite.

Intel 5/12: Patrol Log - Scout 'Hakkat

After passing the dead Sword of Sanghelios soldiers in the pond, make your way a bit further and activate Locke’s Artemis System after jumping over the rocks blocking your path. You should spot this piece of Intel resting on the large rock that you can access by walking along the pile.

Intel 6/12: Patrol Log - Scout 'Makesh

After clearing out the Covenant in the second area of combat, make your way up the canyon until the fork in the path. Take the path to the left, and look out for an area you can drop into just before the two Energy Shields. You should spot a dead Elite inside, as well as this piece of Intel next to him.

Intel 7/12: Ceremonial Sword 2/6

After clearing out the Covenant in the second area of combat, make your way up the canyon until the fork in the path. Take the path to the right, and you should spot a rock about two thirds of the way up the hill. Climb the nearby fallen pillar, then jump to the next pillar, and onward to the rock to nab this piece of Intel.

Intel 8/12: Sangheili Personal Log 503

Turn left at the ruin’s Cliffside after passing through them and spotting the next group of Covenant reinforcements. Walk around the pillar to the left and you should spot this Covenant data pad. Grab it to score this piece of Intel.

Intel 9/12: Kit Pitlimp's Adventure Log ¼

At the edge of the ruins where you spot the Covenant reinforcements, turn right and make your way into a small cave to the right of the main path. Ground Pound the cracked stone, and you will fall into a small cavern holding this piece of Intel.

Intel 10/12: Message to Kitun'Arach ½

Make your way through the Mantis until you reach a room with a crashed ship and a dismembered statue. Climb out of the Mantis, and onto the statue to reach a second level in this area. Now climb up to the next area, and turn left to spot this piece of Intel.

Intel 11/12: Message to Kitun'Arach 2/2

Look to the left of the area before the locked path to the Council Chamber, and you should spot a giant hole in the wall. Jump through the hole, and then head down the hallway to find this piece of Intel sitting on a sculpture in a large circular room.

Intel 12/12: Sangheili Personal Log 139

Jump up to the right side second level of the Council Chamber courtyard, and enter the area filled with water to the right of the gate. You should spot this last piece of Intel nearby.
