Halo 5: Guardians - Intel and Skulls: Mission 12: Battle of Sunaion

Halo 5: Guardians is now available for all Xbox One owners to enjoy, and with its release comes collectibles. The game has two forms of collectibles to obtain: Intel and Skulls. Intel is scattered throughout each mission in Halo 5, while skulls will only be found for those who are committed to investigating every inch of each level in order to obtain.

We’ve gone through the trouble of documenting the locations of all of the Intel and Skulls in every mission in Halo 5. If you want to hunt the truth, you’re going to want to obtain all of these collectibles.

Mission 12: Battle of Sunaion

Intel 1/8: Message to Jacul’Arach 3/4

Once you spawn in this mission, walk behind where you just spawned and head towards the second set of illuminated structures. Jump up to the second structure to find this piece of Intel.

Intel 2/8: Chant of the Guardian

When you come across the battle where a turret is attacking your Fireteam, stick to the left and head inside the building. Inside of that building is a small room with a console, where you can find a this piece of Intel.

Intel 3/8: Prayer of the Guardian

After you take an elevator up to a new area in this level, jump over some small gaps and head to the left of the broken down door onto some platforms. There will be an illuminated grate with two torches located on both sides of it. Charge through that grate and through the corridor. Once you make it to the other side, jump on the purple torch to your right and up to a small platform where this Intel is located.

Intel 4/8: Message to Jacul’Arach 4/4

Shortly after nabbing the last piece of Intel, this one will be located after you cross some saucers that are placed to the right of the objective. A Storm Rifle will be pointing in the direction you should be headed. Wrap around the building and you’ll spot this piece of Intel above you.

Intel 5/8: Kit Pitlump's Adventure Log 3/4

You’ll come across two Hunters as you progress through the mission. Head over to the right and up a flight of stairs onto a platform. Go to the other side of the circular structure to find this piece of Intel sitting on a table.

Intel 6/8: Ceremonial Sword 5/6

After you take an elevator, you’ll see a hologram in another room in front of you. Take a right from there and head outside. You’ll see some dead Elites lying on some stairs. Head over to the second Elite to find this piece of Intel.

Intel 7/8: Sunaion Officer’s Personal Log

You’ll come across a building with some flickering lights and a large hole leading down. Don’t go down yet, but instead, head to the left and stay on the upper level. Climb through the window and stick to the left again to spot this piece of Intel lying on the ground.

Intel 8/8: Ceremonial Sword 6/6

The last piece of Intel can be found in the section where there’s a building that appears to have collapsed. Climb the building to follow Arbiter, but don’t go into the next area. Instead, circle back to the right side and follow the narrow path around to find it on the ground.

Cowbell Skull:

The Cowbell skull is located in a large area with a Guardian at its rear. To access it, stay on the ground level and head as close to the Guardian as possible. Once here, look down to spot a metal beam and a concrete platform. Jump down onto the beam and turn around to find the Cowbell skull.
