Act 4 - Mission 5: This Ends Here
You made it, the end is finally near… welcome to the last mission of the game.
Final Mission or not they all start off with an objective and this time you’ll need to rendezvous at the Fizzco campus. Of course once you arrive you need to help the survivors defeat the Fizzco forces, a task that you’ve completed countless times before and shouldn’t pose much of a problem now.
Grind your way through the Fizzco forces until you are given the new objectives to trash the Fizzco mechs. They’re a bit more formidable than the other ragtag enemies you’ve been facing, but it’s nothing you can’t handle.
Once the mechs are down you’ll need to launch the giant Overcharge bottle at the Fizzco Building. For this you simply need to work your way up to your objective and then use the harpoon to attach a rope that you can grind across. Once you arrive, melee the bottle until a cut scene is triggered. The devs almost had us with this one… but all those “could have ended here” from Alien: Isolation taught us not to get our hopes up.
Following this slightly deceiving cut scene you’ll need to intercept Fizzco HQ at the waterfront and blast it in the CPU. In fact you’re going to need to do this three times, so climb up the building and shoot it after tracking it to Little Tokyo and then across the river.
It’s no different than any other tower you’ve had to climb. In fact, it might even be a little easier. Just make sure to jump when the electrical current is coming towards you and once you reach the top you’ll need to shoot the building in the power source. The first two times you do this it will run away, however, the third time you shoot it… well you beat the game. Congratulations hero, you’ve survived the Funocalypse.
