There are a lot of different ways to make money in Watch Dogs, but we’ll show you a way to basically make some guaranteed cash by hacking security systems for some guaranteed gambling winnings.
Go to the northern area of The Loops and find a high stakes poker game. You’ll find a high stakes Texas Hold ‘Em game with a large buy in.
On a round that you’re not dealing, hack into the camera in the room to check out other players cards, and look for nervous ticks from other players that you wouldn’t be able to see otherwise.
This will give you invaluable information to play the hand right.
If you don’t know anything about how to play Texas Hold ‘Em, I’d suggest at least looking up some basics so you know your way around the table and can play with at least a bit of knowledge. The main thing is knowing what hands beat others, what hands are awful and should just be thrown in automatically (2,7 offsuit for example), and a basic understanding of the flow of the game.
Something else that will help greatly is the understanding of down playing your good hands to lure others into making bigger bets. This will be extra helpful since you’ll be able to see what most players have, and you’ll be able to tell if they think they have won with their mediocre hand or not. Bet too big and they might fold, lure them in with some mid sized bets only to go all in on the River, and you’ll watch them squirm while they lose all of their money!
