General Tips

- Hidden Object Scenes will be referred to as HOS in this walkthrough.
- Items written in yellow in HOS require additional steps.
- Read your journal for details on your adventure and clues to mini-games (1).
- Your inventory is in the bottom panel – select an item to choose it for use (2).
- The inventory panel auto-hides; move your mouse down to reveal the panel.
- Hints are unlimited, but you must wait for the hint meter to refill (3).
Chapter 1: The Park and Main Street
- Select the eerie blue light on the left to get started (A).
- After the cut-scene, you will have the option of some interactive help.
- Look at the backpack and open the flap for a mini HOS (B).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Place the symbol onto the top of the box (C), then open it to find the unicorn (D).
- You will earn the WATER CANTEEN.
- Use the WATER CANTEEN on the burning stump (D).
- Look at the trunk; take the SCREWDRIVER and the CANDLE SNUFFER (E).
- Look at the sign and use the SCREWDRIVER to remove the 4 screws (F).
- You will have to scrape the wax away from 3 of the screws.
- Take the SIGN and place it over the chasm (G).
- Walk to the blue light (H).
- Take and read the flier about the grand opening (I).
- Look at the candle and use the CANDLE SNUFFER on the flame (J).
- Take the PLIERS from the skull (K).
- Read the map in the doll’s hand and take the 1/2 PUZZLE PIECE (L).
- Walk down once.
- Look at the book and read the page on Dark Dimensions (M).
- Use the PLIERS to get the 2/2 PUZZLE PIECE (N).
- Walk forward and look at the gate for a mini-game (O).
- Place the 2 PUZZLE PIECES onto the grid to trigger the mini-game.
- Move the tiles to the correct positions based on the red lines.
- Select a tile to see possible moves highlighted, then select the space to move the tile.
- The eye on the tile will close when it is in the correct spot.
- This mini-game is randomly generated; see the final solution here (P).
- Walk forward through the gate.
- Take the INFRARED GLASS (Q).
- After the cliffs fall away, walk forward (R).
- Look at the wax arm and note the tattoo of 8-4-1 (S).
- Take and read the flashlight instructions (T).
- Note the gate (U).
- Walk towards the band shell (V).
- Look at the picnic table; take the GARDEN SHEARS and read the judge’s notes (W).
- Look at the base of the stairs and take the LITTLE KNIFE (X).
- Open the envelope and look at the photo and note (Y).
- Walk down once.
- Note the crate by the tree (A).
- Use the GARDEN SHEARS 3 times on the vines covering the gazebo (B).
- Select the gazebo for a HOS.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Place the apples in the basket for the basket of apples (C).
- Use the shoe in the sand to make the shoe print (D).
- Place the cone with the scoop to make the ice cream (E).
- Place the rubber band on the ‘Y’ to make the slingshot (F).
- Open the lantern to find the mushroom (G).
- Move the curtain to find the ballet slippers (H).
- You will earn the SPOON.
- Look at the wax head and use the SPOON to take the GLASS EYE (I).
- Walk to the band shell and select the stage for a HOS (J).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Place the heart on the bear to make the bear with heart (L).
- Use the bow on the violin to find the melody (M).
- Place the amplifying horn on the base to complete the gramophone (N).
- You will earn the SHOVEL.
- Look at the stairs; place the GLASS EYE in the hole (O) then take the NAIL PULLER (P).
- Look at the planter; use the SHOVEL on the dirt and take the HANDLE (Q).
- Look at the signpost; remove the poster and place the HANDLE in the hole (R).
- Take the INFRARED BULB (S).
- Walk down once.
- Look at the crate and use the NAIL PULLER on the 3 nails (T).
- Place the INFRARED BULB in the lamp (U).
- Place the INFRARED LENS over the bulb, then take the INFRARED LANTERN (V).
- Look at the gate and use the INFRARED LANTERN to melt the wax hands (W).
- Refer back to the wax arm for the code if needed (X).
- Enter the code 8-4-1 on the gate (Y).
- Look at the dog and use the LITTLE KNIFE to remove his muzzle; take the 1/3 MEDALLION from his mouth (A).
- Read the newspaper under the dog’s feet (B).
- Look at the briefcase; read the letter and take the BULB (C).
- Walk forward.
- Look at the drawing (D).
- Look at the cafe table; take the SAW and read the article (E).
- Look at the sign and take the HAMMER (F).
- Walk down once.
- Look at the trolley and use the HAMMER on the window twice (G).
- Read the fax cover sheet, then turn the lever (H).
- Select the trolley for a HOS.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Use the eraser on the letter to get the clean paper (I).
- Use the shoe brush on the boots to get the clean boots (J).
- Use the knife on the apple to get the apple peel (K).
- Place the ship in the bottle to get ship in the bottle (L).
- Place the mirror glass in the frame to find the mirror (M).
- You will earn the MIRROR.
- Walk forward.
- Note the locked door with the Medusa emblem (N).
- Look at the Medusa statue and use the MIRROR on her eyes (O).
- Walk to the left where the statue previously stood.
- Look at the tree roots and use the SAW 3 times to get the HYDRANT VALVE (P).
- Note the tree has fallen to make a path but it is blocked by a large bird (Q).
- Walk down twice and select the trolley for a HOS.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- You will earn the GRAMOPHONE.
- Look at the hydrant: place the HYDRANT VALVE on it and turn off the water (R).
- Once the water stops, take the KEY (S).
- Walk forward, then go to the left.
- Look at the base of the lamppost; use the KEY on the hole and open the door (T).
- Read how the Harpy Eagle hates loud noises (U).
- Take the BRASS PUMPKIN (V).
- Look at the wagon and place the BRASS PUMPKIN in the scale (W).
- Note the window (X).
- Select the wagon for a HOS.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Place the egg in the pan for fried eggs (A).
- Pour the milk in the coffee for coffee with milk (B).
- Place the Yin symbol with Yang to make Yin and Yang (C).
- You will earn the STONE TILE.
- Look at the window for a mini-game.
- Place the STONE TILE in the center to activate the mini-game.
- Rotate the 3 center tiles to complete the pattern – they will lock into place (D).
- Next, rotate the 6 circular tiles to complete the pattern (E).
- Select 2 tiles to swap positions if necessary.
- Look in the window; read the letter and take the RECORD (F).
- Look at the base of the lamp post and attach the GRAMOPHONE (G).
- Place the RECORD on the gramophone (H).
- Once the Harpy Eagle flies away, walk up the tree trunk to the floating wax museum (I).
- Take the HOOK (J).
- Look at the figure’s hand; take the BELL CLAPPER and the RING (K).
- Look at the box; cut it open with the LITTLE KNIFE (L).
- Take the ACID and read the postcard (M).
- Walk down twice to the cafe area.
- Look at the tree and use the ACID on the birdcage (N).
- Take the WAX BIRD (O).
- Use the HOOK to bring down the kite (P).
- Look at the fallen kite; read the essay and take the GLASS HEART (Q).
- Walk down once to the trolley area.
- Look at the bell and use the BELL CLAPPER to make it ring (R).
- Look at the rubble; read the letter and take the 2/3 MEDALLION (S).
- Look at the fountain; read the flyer (T) and place the GLASS HEART in the hole (U).
- Place the WAX BIRD in the water (V); take the LETTER W once it flies away (W).
- Walk forward, left, then up the tree to the front of the wax museum.
- Look at the steps; place the LETTER W into the indentation (A).
- Take the BUTTON from the compartment (B).
- Note the door to the wax museum (C).
- Walk down twice to the cafe area.
- Look at the sign and place the BUTTON on the control (D).
- Push the button to lower the sign.
- Select the lowered sign for a mini-game (E).
- Place the BULB on the sign to activate the mini-game.
- Select the lights to from a continuous chain that includes all the lights.
- Select the lights in numerical order (1-17).
- Take the 3/3 MEDALLION (F).
- Walk left, then up the tree to the front of the wax museum.
- Look at the front door for a mini-game.
- Place the 3 MEDALLIONS onto the plaque.
- Move the medallions from the lettered positions to the empty space.
- Our solution is: I-J-H-K-I-J-H-K-G-L-H.
- The start positions are shown here (M).
- Enter the Wax Museum.
- After the cut-scene, look at the broken urn and read Sybil’s press pass (N).
- Take the LIGHTER (O).
- Walk down 3 times to the cafe area.
- Look at the sandbags and use the LIGHTER on the dynamite (P).
- Walk forward.
Chapter 2: The Cinema Area
- Look at the mailbox and remove the note over the lock (A).
- Refer to Sybil’s press pass in your journal for the code- 2612 (B), then enter the code (C).
- Read the newspaper (D), then take the 1/7 BLUE TILE and the POSTAL BOX KEY (E).
- Use the POSTAL BOX KEY on the lock (F).
- Enter the newspaper office.
- Look at the desk by the press; take the THREAD and read the memo (G).
- Note the hole under the memo.
- Select the desk on the left for a HOS (H).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Place the lampshade on the lamp for the stand lamp (I).
- Place the lens to complete the camera (J).
- Place the clean paper in the typewriter for the tale (K).
- Place the handset to complete the telephone (L).
- Use the pencil on the 10 to make 100 (M).
- You will earn the ELEVATOR LEVER.
- Exit the newspaper office.
- Look at the elevator and place the ELEVATOR LEVER on the control (N).
- Flip the lever to ride the elevator up.
- Walk forward to enter the apartment.
- Look at the chalkboard and take the DRY SPONGE (O).
- Move the divider screen (P).
- Open the door (Q).
- Note the mini-game on the hidden door (R).
- Walk down to exit the room and move the switch on the elevator to go down.
- Walk down to exit the elevator.
- Look at the vending machine and place the DRY SPONGE under the dispenser (S).
- Press the red button (T), then take the WET SPONGE.
- Take the elevator up to the apartment (U).
- Look at the blackboard and use the WET SPONGE 3 times to clean off the chalk (V).
- Note the date on the chalkboard and read the receipt (W).
- Take the elevator down and enter the newspaper office.
- Look at the calendar and set the date to June 14th, Tuesday using the wooden buttons on the left (X).
- Read the note and take the TILE (Y).
- Exit; take the elevator up to the apartment.
- Look at the door for a mini-game (Z).
- Place the TILE in the empty square to trigger the mini-game.
- Rotate tiles to restore the picture; rotating one tile may affect other tiles.
- You can press on the tiles with screws.
- This mini-game is randomly generated.
- The solution is shown here (S).
- Tip: solve the upper half first and end with the tiles in the lower left.
- Tiles will darken slightly when in the correct position.
- Go through the door to the dressing room.
- Push aside the clothing on the right (T).
- Remove the wig from the figure (U).
- Look at the figure’s hand and read the diary page (V).
- Remove the paper face (W).
- Select the vanity for a HOS (X).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Use the bottle on the glass to get the full wine glass (A).
- Use the comb on the wig to get the sleek hair (B).
- Place the mushrooms in the bowl to make the mushroom salad (C).
- Use the needle on the tear to make the mended shirt (D).
- You will earn the DUSTER.
- Walk down.
- Look at the purse on the chair and use the DUSTER 5 times to remove the cobwebs (E).
- Open the purse and take the MAGNET (F).
- Walk down, take the elevator down and enter the newspaper office.
- Look at the desk by the press and use the MAGNET on the hole to get the FORCEPS (G).
- Select the desk on the left for a HOS (H).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- You will earn the CAMERA PART.
- Exit the newspaper office; take the elevator up and enter the apartment.
- Look at the top of the hookah and use the FORCEPS to remove the hot stone (I).
- Take the IV tile (J).
- Enter the dressing room.
- Look at the projector; take the NEEDLE and the photo (K).
- Use the CAMERA PART on the cover (L).
- Open the cover; read the note and take the FILM (M).
- Look at the sewing machine; place the THREAD at the top (N) and the NEEDLE at the bottom (O).
- Take the OVEN MITT, once it is sewn (P).
- Select the vanity for a HOS.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Place the lace on the umbrella for the umbrella with lace (Q).
- Use the scissors on the gloves to make the motor gloves (R).
- You will earn the IX tile.
- Walk down twice and take the elevator down.
- Enter the newspaper office.
- Look at the clock; place the IX tile and the IV tile into the holes on the face (S).
- Put the tiles in numerical order; select 2 tiles to swap location (T).
- Read the note and the invitation (U).
- Take the 2/7 BLUE TILE and the HEAD (V).
- Exit the newspaper office.
- Look at the cinema door and use the HEAD on the snakes (W).
- Enter the cinema.
- Look at the chandelier; take the 1/2 COIN and the HEX KEY (X).
- Select the popcorn stand for a HOS (Y).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Rub the ticket to get the prize (A).
- Place the wooden doll on the strings to make the puppet (B).
- Pour the kettle into the cup for the tea (C).
- Open the hand to find the coin (D).
- You will earn the 2/2 COIN.
- Look at the upper door to the projection room and use the LIGHTER to burn the film (E).
- Look at the ticket window and place the 2 COINS in the tray (F).
- Open the tray and take the CINEMA TICKET (G).
- Look at the lower door to the theater and use the CINEMA TICKET on the slot (H).
- Enter the lower door.
- Look at the floor light and use the HEX KEY to open it (I).
- Take the CLEF (J).
- Note the mini-game near the curtains (K).
- Walk down to the lobby.
- Look at the piano and place the CLEF on the notes (L).
- Drag the clef to the right to open the panel.
- Take the ROPE and the TUMBLER (M).
- Look at the chandelier and use the ROPE on the hook and then take the GRAPPLER (N).
- Enter the lower doors to the theater.
- Use the GRAPPLER on the balcony (O).
- Look at the balcony and take the FIRE HOSE (P).
- Walk down to the lobby, then enter the door on the upper floor.
- Look at the paper cutter and read the list (Q).
- Place the FIRE HOSE (R) on the paper cutter, then select the blade (S).
- Take the FIRE HOSE PART.
- Walk down twice to exit the cinema.
- Look at the water pump and attach the FIRE HOSE PART to the spigot (T).
- Use the pump handle to turn on the water (U).
- Take the GEAR from the drain (V), and take the 3/7 BLUE TILE (W).
- Re-enter the cinema and go upstairs to the projection room.
- Look at the cabinet and place the GEAR on the lock (A).
- Take the MONKEY and the LEFT MEDUSA FACE (B).
- Walk down, then enter the theater.
- Look at the box and use the MONKEY on the hole for the crank (C).
- Take the WINDER (D).
- Walk down to the lobby.
- Look at the globe over the ticket booth and use the WINDER on the plane (E).
- Turn the key to move the plane and take the TRIANGULAR KEY (F).
- Select the popcorn machine for a HOS.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Use the tissue on the frame to make the kite (G).
- Use the blueberries on the pie for blueberry pie (H).
- You will earn the 1/2 RADIO BUTTON.
- Walk upstairs to the projection room.
- Look at the camera and place the TUMBLER on the hole, then flip the switch so the light is green (I).
- Use the TRIANGULAR KEY in the lock and open the camera (J).
- Place the FILM on the spindle and take the 2/2 RADIO BUTTON (K).
- Exit the projection room, then enter the theater.
- Look at the mini-game near the curtain.
- Place the 2 RADIO BUTTONS in the rings to trigger the mini-game.
- Swap pieces of the colored rings so all the lights are on (L).
- The same shape and color must touch on each end (M).
- Once all the lights are lit, press the red button in the center (N).
- Look at the debris on the floor and take the RIGHT MEDUSA FACE (O).
- Walk down 3 times to the cafe area.
- Look at the door on the left and place the LEFT MEDUSA FACE and the RIGHT MEDUSA FACE into the circle (P).
- Enter the Undertaker’s.
Chapter 3: The Undertaker’s and the Twin’s Home
- Note the door to the back room (A).
- Select the junk pile for a HOS (B).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Place the eye patch on the skull for the pirate skull (C).
- Use the register handle on the register to find the bank notes (D).
- Place the plummet on the scale for the balanced scales (E).
- Use the blank sheet on the candle for the ink made visible (F).
- You will earn the LETTER M.
- Walk to the back room.
- Look at the desk and open the drawer (G).
- Take the LETTER O and read the note (H).
- Place the RING in the hole (I), then take the HAMMER (J).
- Take the COFFIN COVER (K).
- Walk down once.
- Look at the shelf; read the letter and use the HAMMER on the bottle (L).
- Take the PUZZLE PART (M).
- Look at the lid for a mini-game (N).
- Place the PUZZLE PART on the circles to activate the mini-game.
- Press the center of each circle to rotate them and move the outer colored pieces around the correct center (O).
- This mini-game is randomly generated.
- Take the CHEST HEAD from inside the box (P).
- Return to the back room.
- Look at the Egyptian chest and place the CHEST HEAD on top (Q).
- Open the case and take the SCALPEL (R).
- Look at the table and take the ETHER and read the letter (S).
- Use the SCALPEL on the wrist straps to free the BARBELL (T).
- Walk down once.
- Look inside the coffin and use the SCALPEL to cut open the silk (U).
- Take the BINOCULAR SLIDER (V).
- Walk down twice to the trolley area.
- Look at the side gate and use the BARBELL on the lock (W).
- Walk left to the lookout area.
- Look at the binoculars and place the BINOCULAR SLIDER in the center line (A).
- Press one of the eye pieces to open the shutters (B).
- Move the slider until a name comes into focus (C).
- Select the junk pile for a HOS (D).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Use the pins on the doll for voodoo (E).
- Place the jar on the statue for the statue with a pitcher (F).
- Use the pump on the deflated ball to get the soccer ball (G).
- Use the pick on the ore to find the diamond (H).
- You will earn the VISE HANDLE.
- Walk down, then go forward.
- Enter the Undertaker’s and walk forward to the back room.
- Look at the vise and place the VISE HANDLE in the hole (I).
- Turn the handle; look again at the vise and take the DOLL’S EYE (J).
- Look at the doll and place the DOLL’S EYE in the hole (K).
- Take the LITTLE KEY from the mouth (L).
- Walk down 3 times, then go left to the lookout area.
- Look at the box and use the LITTLE KEY on the lock (M).
- Turn the key to open the box.
- Read the newsletter; take the BATTERY and the SWITCH (N).
- Select the junk pile for a HOS (O).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- You will earn the LETTER J.
- Walk down, then go forward.
- Enter the Undertaker’s and walk forward to the back room.
- Look at the saw; place the SWITCH in the hole, then turn it on (P).
- Use the COFFIN COVER on the saw (Q).
- Take the FIREWOOD (R).
- Walk down once.
- Look at the urn and place the LETTER J, LETTER O, and LETTER M into the holes (S).
- Select 2 letters to swap positions until you spell JOE ADAMS.
- Read the newsletter (T).
- Take the LIQUID FIRE and read the note (U).
- Select the junk pile for a HOS (V).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- You will earn the 1/2 BALL.
- Walk down twice, then go left to the lookout area.
- Place the FIREWOOD under the beehive (A).
- Use the LIQUID FIRE on the boards (B).
- Use the LIGHTER on the boards (C).
- Look at the beehive; take the HONEYCOMB and the 4/7 BLUE TILE (D).
- Look at the car; read the permit and take the CUTTER (E).
- Walk down, forward, then left where the Wax Museum is floating.
- Look at the barbed wire and use the CUTTER on the wire (F).
- Walk forward to the twin’s home.
- Move the sheet aside and look at the figure (G).
- Read the note and take the WRENCH (H).
- Look at the picnic basket and use the SCALPEL to cut the strap (I).
- Read the note and take the OIL CAN (J).
- Look at the laundry line hook and use the WRENCH to remove the bolt (K).
- Open the hook and take the ROPE (L).
- Look at the broken ladder and use the ROPE to repair the rung (M).
- Climb up the ladder (N).
- Look at the ink stand and take the FISHING LINE (O).
- Note the mini-game on the double doors (P).
- Look at Lucy’s door on the right and use the OIL CAN on the knob (Q).
- Turn the knob then enter Lucy’s room.
- Look at the guitar and use the FISHING LINE in the hole to get the COMB (R).
- Look at the wall and move Sebastian’s picture (S).
- Take the KEY and read the diary pages (T).
- Walk down twice to the yard.
- Take the TANK (U).
- Look at the salon sign and place the COMB in the indentation (V).
- Take the 5/7 BLUE TILE and the DOOR HANDLE (W).
- Return up the ladder and enter Lucy’s room on the right.
- Look at the closet door and place the DOOR HANDLE in the hole (X).
- Turn the handle to open the door, then select the closet for a HOS.
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Use the magnet on the vase to get the soldier (A).
- Use the awl on the balloon to get the note (B).
- Place the paper umbrella in the goblet to make the cocktail (C).
- Use the lipstick on the mirror to write hello (D).
- Use the scissors on the wig to cut a strand (E).
- You will earn the 1/2 INK POT.
- Walk down once.
- Look at Sebastian’s door on the left and place the KEY in the lock (F).
- Turn the doorknob (G) and enter the room.
- Take the BASEBALL BAT (H).
- Look at the mitt and read the radio ad (I).
- Take the RADIO KNOB and the 1/3 RED TILE (J).
- Walk down once.
- Look at the radio; place the RADIO KNOB on the spindle, then turn it to the on position (K).
- Refer to the journal for the correct station (L).
- Drag the right knob (M) to set the radio to 102.9 (N).
- Take the LATCH (O).
- Return to Sebastian’s room.
- Look at the window and use the LATCH on the lock, then flip it open (P).
- Take the 2/2 INK POT (Q).
- Exit the room.
- Look at the ink stand and place the 2 INK POTS into the squares (R).
- Take the PAPER KNIFE (S).
- Enter Lucy’s room on the right.
- Look at the vanity and read the crumpled note (T).
- Use the PAPER KNIFE on the compact (U).
- Take the JEWELRY BOX PART (V).
- Select the closet for a HOS (W).
- Locate all the items on the list.
- Open the case for the mouthpiece (A).
- Place the candles on the cake for birthday cake (B).
- Open the box to find the beads (C).
- Place the windmill blades on the structure to make the mill (D).
- You will earn the CUP.
- Return to Sebastian’s room.
- Look at the trophy display and place the CUP in the center (E).
- Look at the jewelry box for a mini-game (F).
- Place the JEWELRY BOX PART into the grid to trigger the mini-game.
- Move the numbers so they are in numerical order 1-7 starting at the top left.
- Use the arrows to move the frame; note that it may move more than once piece.
- Select these arrows: D-L-U-R-R-D-L-U-L-D-R-U-R-D-L-L-U.
- Note the final solution here (G).
- Take LUCY’S PHOTO from the box.
- Look at the drawers and use the PAPER KNIFE to cut the wax (H).
- Place LUCY’S PHOTO in the niche on the DIARY (I).
- Open the diary; read the page and take the 2/2 BALL (J).
- Exit the room and look at the double doors for a mini-game.
- Place the 2 BALLS into the grid to activate the mini-game.
- Remove balls from the board by jumping them until there are only 5 remaining.
- Select a ball then select the position you want to move it to.
- Moves 1-9 are shown in the first screenshot.
- Select a ball the select the position you want to move it to.
- Moves 10-18 are shown in the second screenshot.
- Select a ball the select the position you want to move it to.
- Moves 19-27 are shown in the third screenshot.
- Take the LEFT SNAKE HALF and the KEY (K).
- Use the BASEBALL BAT 3 times to break the glass on the clock (L).
- Read the note and take the CLOCK ARROWS (M).
- Walk down 5 times to the park area.
- Select the gazebo for a HOS.
- Locate all the items on the list.

- Move the curtain aside to find a doorway (D).
- Zoom in and use the LASER POINTER on the wax chains (E).
- Place the 2 PUZZLE LEVERS on the device for a mini-game (F).
- Rotate the wheel (G) to move the gear to the top of the opening (H), then move the slider to 1 (I); do this twice.
- You will see a gear (J) by lever number 1 (K) move it to the right twice.
- Rotate the wheel below the levers (L) so the teeth in the gear by lever 1 will match when it moves to the right again.
- Repeat the earlier steps to move the gear to the right, you should see a light (M) go on next to the lever, then you can pull the lever down.
- If you do not get a light and the lever will not move, select the emergency restart button for that lever and repeat the process (N).
