Casino Bonuses Explained
Firstly before you even think about signing up to an online casino let me tell you that not all online casinos can be trusted. Just because the online casino site looks professional and offers you a big sign up offer do not mean that it is a trusted site. If you intend to play online casinos then make sure you use a site that is fully accredited and regulated. I will tell you that online casinos based in the UK are the best you can find. They are strictly monitored and regulated and most are offshoots of well known gambling brands which have been trading for years.
Also many affiliate sites will list every casino that offers them an affiliate deal (money for sign ups) whilst other affiliates will only list half a dozen or so online casino sites which have an impeccable reputation. A good affiliate site will also give general details about each online casino such as percentage payouts, deposit / withdrawal methods and the software the casino uses.
Now that we have a good idea what to look for in an affiliate site I can now explain the different types of bonuses on offer. Let抯 break the bonuses down into two different categories which are instant bonuses and wagering bonuses. There are many other types but I will deal with those in other articles.
The best type of bonus is an instant bonus. These bonuses usually are matched to a maximum amount which you can deposit to claim the bonus. A good example would be a 100% instant bonus up to ?00. This simply means any amount up to ?00 you deposit you will have the same amount added to your account. Opening a new account and depositing ?0 would enable you to receive ?0 free.
The other type of bonus has wagering requirements. This type of bonus is similar to the instant bonus but you have to meet the wager requirements before the bonus is released into your account. The wager requirements are normally multiples of the amounts you deposit. Let抯 say we are offered a 100% bonus up to ?00 and we find in the small print that the wagering requirements are 2 times the initial deposit amount. In simple terms this means if we deposit ?00 we are going to have to place bets of ?00 before we are entitled to the bonus of ?00.
Beware some of these bonuses have wagering requirements of 30 times the initial deposit amount which means you may have to place 30 x ?00 (?000) of bets before you get your ?00 bonus.
Before signing up for any bonus, simply take a minute or two to read the terms and conditions so you know exactly what the requirements are to claim the bonus. There is no point signing up for a 200% ?00 bonus if the wagering requirements are something like 50 times your initial deposit as you could spend thousands just to release the bonus.
