Many DFO players may have encounter those problems about Megaphone chat spam in game, and this article is to tell you how to solve this problem. I think what should be done is increase the block size and implement the "bad titles" again.
The bad titles overwrote the title you have on a character if you reached a certain number of blocks on that character.

People with the titles would have the system alert other players regarding their behavior (if someone trades or parties with them), and if the blocked number got high enough, it was a global mute on the character.
Brent, there was no reason to say his logic was poor and stupid. And people like you are another reason why people are leaving communities all around, not just in gaming.
It's fine that Jaded would be fine with that as his end of the compromise. And all I did was offer a simple rebuttal to him that his philosophy supports the ongoing problem.
But I also agree with the Bad Titles coming back, as just in megas, we don't need the lobby screens filled with the junk. Good News! I found the FB post on how the Echoes can be SILENCED at Last! However, I have not had time to test it myself. Again, this was discovered during the Alpha Test and I have no idea if it will work the same way for the OBT Pt1. If you don't your DFO gold got hacked, you should carefully when buy DFO gold from online site.

I dunno where to put this so everyone could see it but i think i finally know how to disappear the yellow text (a.k.a. megaphone chat) from the chat in full screen.
I did it and it work, my friend did the same and also work! You don't know how much i hate the spam for the DFO gold scammer. Here its what me and my friends did, tell me if it work because it may be just lucky.
1. Have the game in full screen
2. Click the + symbol in EACH tab of the chat
(Gen, Party, Guild, Mentor, Whisper, Sys.)
3. Choose (in each tab) System > and don't mark all little boxes... (see the image just in case)
4. After that, open Settings and choose Windowed 800x600 and accept/save
5. Then click in the + of System tab and it should be like this (see the image)
6. Then process to send a message (it could be to general, party, guild, mentor, it doesn't matter)
7. Open Settings and choose "Full screen"
There, you should not be able to see the Megaphone chat anymore, the only way is if you change to Windowed mode, but still if you return to full screen it still doesn't show the yellow text (megaphone chat).
