4. Setting Traps

7. Use your power ups as quickly as you can, but aim them correctly in order to maximize their effectiveness. Some, such as the lightning, will hit everyone regardless of where you are when you use it. Others, such as the jack in the box or the bar trap, need to be on the ground in an area where people run. Still others, such as the buzzsaw, should be aimed when there are people in front of you. If you are in first place, save them just in case.

Run over the speed strips any time that you see them. You will know where they are because they are gray and have a chevron marking them, so don't make the mistake of jumping over them or you will miss the speed boost.

You can spend your coins on new characters, new costumes and new accessories for each character. Save them if you care mainly about performance, though, because if history is any indication, there will be more power up boosts in a future update.
