Eden hazard picks three former arsenal stars in fifa 15 ultimate team legends XI

Chelsea and Belgium winger Eden Hazard has probably left fans of both club and country a bit disappointed when he was asked to pick his FIFA 15 Ultimate Team of legends.

Rather than picking stars from Chelsea and Belgium's past, Hazard has gone for a team dominated by players who made their names with Arsenal and France. In fact, Hazard picks four Frenchman, with 1998 World Cup centre-backs Laurent Blanc and Marcel Desailly at the back and Patrick Vieira and Robert Pires in midfield.

Those two, of course, played for Arsenal, as did one of the strikers he picked, Dennis Bergkamp.

Alongside Bergkamp up front Hazard, somewhat surprisingly goes for Patrick LKluivert, while Pavel Nedved and Luis Figo are the other midfielders.

Hazard told the official EA Sports FIFA YouTube page his special XI, which started off with Manchester United's former goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, who is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers who have played the game.

Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos took up the left-back position, with the 2002 World Cup winner of the finest full-backs of the 90′s. Carlos came up against Laurent Blanc in the 1998 World Cup final in Paris and the Manchester United man takes up a role in the heart of the defence, alongside former Chelsea centre-back and fellow Frenchman, Marcel Desailly. One of Italy's finest defenders in Fabio Cannavaro made up the back-line, with Hazard picking an unfamiliar spot for him at right-back.

One of Portugal's finest stars and a former World Player of the Year, Luis Figo, was Hazard's pick at right-midfield. Former Arsenal and French international Patrick Vieira was the pick in the heart of the midfield, with Pavel Nedved slotting in alongside him after his exploits for Juventus. Another former Arsenal man was picked in the heroic Robert Pires, with Hazard taking notice of his stunning work for club and country.

Hazard's front-line is made up of two of the most potent Dutchmen in football history, with Patrick Kluivert partnering Arsenal's iconic maestro Dennis Bergkamp in the star-studded line-up.

Chelsea star Eden Hazard has showed an appreciation of some Arsenal greats by picking them in his ultimate FIFA 15 team.

The Daily Mirror reports that Hazard was asked by game developers EA to select his Legends XI and three ex-Arsenal men found their way into the side.

Patrick Vieira, Denis Bergkamp and Robert Pires were all selected as the Chelsea star showed an appreciation of the great Arsenal Invincibles side that shone under Arsene Wenger.

For a while it looked as though this generation of Chelsea players could replicate that outstanding feat but their hopes of an undefeated campaign came to an end when they lost 2-1 to Newcastle United recently.

However, Jose Mourinho's side still look set for a fine season and Hazard will be integral as he looks to follow in the footsteps of some of the players he selected to make his greatest ever line-up.

Just how good can Eden Hazard become?

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has chosen his ultimate XI for FIFA 15 and surprisingly named 3 Arsenal 'Invincibles' and one Manchester United legend in his team.

The Belgian international started off by naming United hero Peter Schmeichel in goal while former Red Devil Laurent Blanc was named in the back four.

Brazilian full-back Roberto Carlos and Italian World Cup winner Fabian Cannavaro were also selected in defence alongside Marcel Desailly - who was the only player picked to have played for Chelsea.
Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira was joined in midfield by Luis Figo - who played for both Barcelona and Real Madrid - and Pavel Nedved while France and Arsenal winger Robert Pires also made the cut.

Up front, Hazard's former Lille team-mate Patrick Kluivert was partnered by Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp - who he says was 'so classy'.

It's certainly an interesting side and he's left out a whole host of top names, not to mention a number of Chelsea and former Chelsea players who may raise a few eyebrows at their exclusion.

However, from the side he did pick, it's clear Hazard was a fan of the Arsenal golden years with three of Arsene Wenger's 'invincible' side getting the nod.
