Recently, Bioware has updated a new blog to announce some big changes of crafting system for Swtor 4.0 that will go live later this month. Generally, the system will be simpler. However, many players feel disappointed to lose some reusable items and crafting armors. Buy swtor credits cheap on Swtor2credits and read on what changes will be in Kotfe.
Swtor Kotfe crafting changes cover some key areas
During this time's changes on crafting, the swtor team indicated three main goals to make crafting more viable throughout the game: Balance the Crafting skills, improve the quality of Crafted items, and ease the barrier of entry making Crafting easier to understand for our newer players. To reach each of these goals, several key areas have been covered, including the general crew skill changes, crafting skill changes, elder game crafting, and harvesting and mission skill changes. Besides, many materials are listed to be removed from the game on the launch of KotFE. Fortunately, all items being removed will be converted to a relevant counterpart within a player's inventory or bank, meaning that no items will be straight-up deleted. However, even with some convenience, there are many disappointing points in the changes.
Some changes in swtor 4.0 make most players disappointed
With the crafting changes and removal of companion affection achievements, some have lost confidence of Swtor 4.0 expansion. Firstly, some are happy with these changes and their effort to simplify the crafting system, but not a huge fan of them making it so easy to get to the highest tier of crafting. As far as Swtor2credits concerned, it is good that everyone can make more use of the entire spectrum of the game, but it is likely a little too easy.
Secondly, the removal of Droid Armor is a great blow for those who like Cybertechs crafting. When leveling a toon with Cybertech, many players do are selling droid armor on the GTN and then they make bank. But now as droid appearances are not modified by their armor, the armor is abandoned.
Thirdly, it really frustrated people to lose all the purple schematics learned over the years on a Cybertech and Artiface. Some players might have had most of the useful ones, save for a few endgame tiers. It somehow feels like all the materials and time invested into getting the schematics on Cybertech/Artiface that are changing should transfer over to a legacy character if you have the profession, or some kind of auto-schematic given.
Last but not least, while armoring can no longer be crafted by Cybertechs; new Resistive Armoring (Endurance) are now exclusive to Amormech; and new Versatile Armoring (Mastery) are now exclusive to Synthweaving, it is a concern whether Bioware is going to purge everyone's hard work or move it to another toon with the appropriate crafting skill, and if they allow people to keep what they have under Archive.
Are you the one who be sad due to these changes? Let aside the loss, there are still some good changes. For example, crafters can now make gear equivalent to Story and Hard Mode Operations gear, so the effort and swtor gold you put in are still vital to get great achievements.
