Thanks to the aid of my R4i SDHC Card for my Nintendo DSi system, I have really been able to catch up on some amazing movies and TV Shows. I have my Nintendo DSi XL setup and running my R4i Card, which lets me quickly convert all of the movies or TV shows I want to watch and then I view them on my DSi XL system.
The last couple of movies I have watched on my R4i SDHC Card on my DS were Toy Story 3 and also the super funny Grown Ups. Because I travel on a train to work, with small seats for everyone, it just doesn’t make sense to pull out my laptop when I can quickly and easily hold my Nintendo DS in my hands and watch the movies I want to see.
I don’t want to lose any of my DVD movies either, or get the damaged or scratched on my way to and from work. Keeping them at the office would be fine I suppose, but I already take my Nintendo DSi with me anyway – I like to game on the way to work on the train.
So how do I do it? It’s easy. I use MoonShell for the R4i SDHC Card, it’s a multi media player and manager for these NDS flash cards that lets me play all types of video and audio files, including MP3’s of course. I have also been reading about a lot of different things that it can do – besides just what I’m talking about.
One day, I will eventually get to the point where I am also going to read my eBooks on my Nintendo DSi as well, as Moonshell with the R4i SDHC lets me do that too. Moonshell, and the R4i actually let you read ebooks as well, in TXT or PDF file formats. How cool is that?
I’d have to day that it’s pretty great! I know I could have never even forseen the DS pulling double and triple duty as a media player and not just a hand held game system.
