Starting Your Game in World of Warcraft

If you are playing world of Warcraft for the first time, I recommend you to use the game build-in help system. Through clicking the exclamatory mark at the middle bottom of the screen, you can learn how to make a variety of movements in the game, such as starting doing quest, battle, searching for dead body and training your mission.

When you have created your account, you can log in the game and start playing. Once you start the game, you will be asked to read and consent a Term of Use. In the page of login, you can create a character and freely choose its race, appearance and class.

The first thing you should do is to choose the game server you want to go. If you want to play the game with your friends, you must discuss it in advance and go to the same game server, because you can't meet each other if each of you is located in different game servers. The basic way to avoid network latency is to choose a game server that is near the place you live geographically. But, a WoW player can choose any game server he wants to go.

When you are about to create your character, all that you should do is to choosing your desired race, sex and class. But mind you, the characters in different race can't group a same team. The next step is to customize your character. You can customize your character from many details. If you think it is boring to do that, you can click Random button to let your computer produce a random combination for you. Click the button several more times until you are satisfied with one combination. After the game starts, you can choose other ways to customize your character. At last, you must give a name to your character. Once the name is given, it will accompany your character for its whole lifetime. Hence you are best to choose a name which you can face for a long time. Please pay attention to the rule of naming to avoid renaming and other penalties.

Now, you are entering the game and you have already been in the World of Warcraft.
