How To Get Heirloom Items In Wow, And Why You Want Them

No doubt you have come across the coveted heirloom items... You just have to know how to get WoW heirloom items. I get it. Ok, so maybe you're an altoholic. You've started a new alt and grouped up with some guys that have been just tearing through the dungeons and you can hardly keep up. Their DPS is insane for their level 15 warrior, and you just can't fathom what they're doing differently... Oh wait, maybe it's that Bloodied Arcanite Reaper, the Polished Spaulders of Valor, and Polished Breastplate of Valor... You now know that it's now your mission to acquire some of those precious heirlooms. But you haven't the slightest idea how to get WoW heirloom items. But it is not as hard as most would think.

Why do you want to get WoW heirloom items, and what makes them so special? For one, these items are very strong equipment for your alts. The weapons have a higher overall damage than most that you will find while questing, and they scale with your level so you never have to replace them. Also, they are bound to your account, so when you finally do outgrow them (at level 80) you can just send them to a new toon. This saves you countless amounts of gold on gear upgrades, and makes you some nice gold since you can just sell your quest rewards anyway. Finally, probably the most valuable asset of BoA (Heirloom) items is definitely the experience bonus. Weapons will have critical rating, but the chest and shoulder armor will have a 10% bonus to experience on them. This greatly reduces the amount of time you will be spending time leveling. But you're probably wondering exactly how to get WoW heirloom items.

In reality, there are 3 ways to actually get heirloom items in WoW. The first is PvP. If you're good at PvP, then you can easily accomplish the goal of getting an Heirloom Item. You will receive honor points, whether you win or lose. You can then exchange these honor points for PvP Heirloom Items in Wintergrasp. These items, however are stacked with resilience, and less PvE questing stats.

The next is Heroic Dungeons. You should be doing these anyway to gear up for raiding, and the justice points earned can be exchanged for Heirloom items. However, the Justice points required to get a full set of Heirlooms would require you to kill about 125 Heroic bosses. That means you would do about 1 Heroic every day for 25 days straight.

The last, and easiest option would be the Argent Tournament Daily Quests. As an Argent Champion, these daily quests can earn you an heirloom item in just under a week, and a full set of Heirlooms in only 15 days. The best part is that these daily quests can be done in just under an hour. You will definitely want to optimize your route so you can finish these dailies quickly, so you can either move on to more of the end game content, or get out of the game and enjoy some of your real life. Either way, it's worth looking at a Daily Quests Guide to save your time.
