Driving Force Gt Wheel

Driving force GT wheel is one of the best out there. If you want to enjoy the driving experience with Gran Turismo 5, Richard Burns Rally, RFactor, Live for Speed and many other games where having a good wheel really counts, you should buy one, otherwise you just don't get anywhere near the driving experience these games offer.

I had two other wheels before buying Driving Force GT wheel. I bought Gran Turismo 5 and was playing with my old wheel and it just wasn't what I hoped it would be. So I thought I should buy a new wheel, a proper one. I bought Driving Force GT wheel and I don' regret it.

It is very well made. You get a nice grip. The wheel is 11 inches in diameter and it turns for a full 900 degrees (2.5 lock), just like the real car wheel. The buttons are the same as on PS3 controller. You also get a 24 position adjustment dial where you can change the break-bias, traction control, ABS,... There is also a sequential stick shift and shift paddles (buttons actually) for shifting. Of course there is force feedback and pedals, there is no clutch though. It will definitely work on PS3, PS2 and PC.

When I first tried it out on Gran Turismo 5, it felt really good from the first moment on. There is no free moving when going straight, the Driving Force GT wheel is very accurate. The feedback is also very amazing. You feel when going over a bump, when you hit the apex and when the car is about to loose traction. I had a lot of fun driving the Pagani Zonda R around Nurburgring race track. You don't get a lot of feel trough the pedals, the pedals are I would say usual, but accurate enough that you don't spin-off out of the first corner.

So if you want the best wheel for your best driving performance you should buy G27 Racing Wheel, it is better but it is also twice the price, it is not twice as good. Driving Force GT wheel is for those who want the best wheel for their money. It is the next wheel after G27.
