World Of Warcratf Black Rock Spire Farming 1000 Plus Gold

I was bored the other night and decided to solo Black Rock Spire on my Death Knight alt who has Enchanting just for the fun of it. I also wanted to see how many enchanting mat’s I could get from a full clear. On my server (Darkspear PVP U.S.) the Vanilla mats are crazy, Brilliant Shard are 20-30g each, Illusion dust is 8-10g each, and Greater Eternal Essence are 30-40g each ,when you can get them. I use the Brilliant Shards and Greater Eternal Essence for several of the heirloom enchants which I can sell for nice profits since people are willing to pay large amounts of gold for them and there are not a lot a people putting them up on the auction house anymore. Mainly do to the lack of mat’s. Anyway, I thought I share what the results were so readers could decide if this was something worth doing on there server for some extra gold. Plus I did get two free pets just as a bonus. For the list below I use the bottom prices for the Shards (20g), Essence (30g), and Dust (8g).

I picked up 67g from mobs and 30g from vendoring the grays 20 Blues, 13 greens and 14 stacks of Rune Cloth which sell at 5.5g stack I disenchanted all the blues and greens

• 1 Pristine Black Diamond 5g
• 1 Brilliant Chromatic Scale 2g
• 1 Pan: Thorium Bracers 8g
• 1 Journeyman’s Backpack 8g
• 5 Major Mana Potions 2g
• 10 Major Healing Potions 2g
• 8 Iron web Spider silk 15g
• 1 Thick Spider Silk 1g
• 18 Large Brilliant Shards 360g
• 15 Illusion dust 125g
• 6 Greater Eternal Essence 180g
• Coin and grays 97g
• 14 Stacks of rune cloth 77g
• This give me a total of 976g

I didn’t sell the rune cloth. I sent it to my tailor and made 11 Rune Cloth Headbands which I disenchanted for 1 Brilliant shard, 14 Illusion Dust, and 2 Greater Eternal Essence. This gave me 112g instead of the 77g that I would have got if I just sold the Rune Cloth in stacks. If I substituted the mat’s from the Headbands for the Rune cloth stacks and sold everything on the auction house this would give me a total of 1011g .

Since I’m making enchanted scrolls with the shards and essence I will net a couple hundred more gold then I would selling the mat’s. The full clear took me about a hour but I wasn’t really rushing. I could probably cut the time down 10 to 15 minutes. If I wanted I could also skip a lot of the trash mobs and just go for the bosses, but that would also cut down on the greens weapons that I get which are what disenchant into the Greater Eternal Essence. I guess it doesn’t really matter since I will only be doing this every once in a while when I don’t have anything better to do.
